If you are a seller it would be a best marketplace in AU. If you are a buyer you must be aware that their system doesn't care about you and very hard to communicate with a seller if you have issues by a seller.

Brought a BaumrAG Reciprocating saw from Mydeal a couple of days ago and was greatly disappointed with the price the price I was being charged. I paid $99 only to realise that Edison's was selling the same product for $91. I felt a little cheated. Don't believe what they say,. Shop around before committing. They are more expensive than other Online sites.

The WORST!

The WORST shopping site! Told 4 days for delivery., it has been 6 weeks and nothing, I have raised 5 tickets and still nothing, a total waste of everybody's time, most of all mine. I have to keep calling them and get told someone will get back to me. Hundreds of dollars out of pocket and no item. Just emails from Mary with the same script about how sorry they are and that they are contacting the seller. WTF

Incomplete Shipment
June 30, 2021

We ordered and received a box of what we thought was our complete purchase. After opening the box we found there were pieces missing. We contacted MyDeal and all we got was an email quoting our tracking number for the item we received. Seriously! They didn't even read our request for the missing pieces! From our photos you can see the holes for the missing pieces and from their own photo on their website.

Why didn't I read the reviews first

MyDeals Au is a waste of time. It appears they just place the order on another company, take their clip off the top and move on. When you ask where is your order, the response is just wait another day. If you do not mind waiting for days for a response and then wait weeks for delivery, then go ahead and use them. Or alternatively, if you find something on their website, contact the original seller and deal direct. Their customer services is terrible. Was going to order more items. Their website is easy to use, very well laid out. Great range of products too. Unfortunatley thats where it all stops. So glad I did not buy anymore items and left it at one (1). Like many here reviewing this company, I too will be going to the ACCC.

Please don't buy anything at MyDeal, the worst mistake I ever made! I ordered an iPhone 7S used as demo model from MyDeal (the seller is called CellArt) over a month ago. The iPhone got lost in the mail so I had to buy one somewhere else as my phone was broken. I talked to a nice person on the phone, explained what happened and we cancelled the order together as obviously, it didn't arrive within the time frame. Despite the cancellation, the phone suddenly appeared in tracking and was heading my way. MyDeal told me just to reject the order and said that I would get my refund within 3 days. It has now been more than 2 weeks since I rejected the order and they're suddenly saying that the seller will only issue a refund when they get the parcel back and that they still haven't got it. This should not be my problem as it's their issue with AustPost. I have been calling MyDeal, emailing back and forth and they keep saying I cannot get my refund until the seller receives the delivery. It's hard to believe it got lost on the way back as well (ExpressPost)! This is the worst experience ever and I cannot get anyone to help me. I will be definitely taking this further (ACCC) and will not give up on my refund!

Pet cloud bed!

Lumpy piece of 89.00 garbage. Advertisement photos show plush round bed full of stuffing with lovely cushion insert and high secure comfy sides. Illustrations of how in arrives shows a vacuum sealed bag with a valve that you release and pull bed out with a beautiful insert cushion. This lumpy piece of under stuffed crap doesnt come with cushion and is so bad that you can't differentiate the sides from the bottom. There is so little lumpy stuffing that when my 10 kg dog gets on it he feels the hard floor beneath the lumps. There was no professional vacuum sealed bag... no, no this came in a crinkled up white garbage bag that someone had tied a knot in the top. I never write reviews let alone bad ones but this was just under $90.00, looks and is NOTHING like you advertise. It is disgraceful that you do not get what you paid for. It is just a green lumpy mess the looks like something a cow threw up. The photos of what I received verses what was advertised speak for themselves.

I purchased the mulberry silk pillows which came in a 2 pack, the pillows had a luxurious feel, and were super soft and comfortable, but I was angry when I found out that they were made in China, as I specifically asked if they were Australian made. Delivery was fine, and the quality appears fine too. Happy customer, I will use them again.

We bought the item with wrong size without open the package, and we would like to change it, but please read their terms and condition, we bought the item was domain appliances. Disappointed from mydeal, they said they have to contact the seller. Which actually they are not the company who really sell on it. Within whole month, still cannot get any one who access to help. Not good place to buy. Time and money waste. Why you need to buy. May be buy from other company you can get support.

This company is seriously shoddy, hopeless and has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a pillow and was waiting weeks for it to arrive. I emailed company and they informed me that they had sold out and they wouldn't be getting that particular pillow again as the company was not reliable. I received no email stating this and 3 weeks on I'm still waiting on a refund. They stated after 20 emails that it has been refunded so I had to send screenshots of my bank statements to prove it hasn't. Still waiting. DON'T EVER BUY FROM THUS COMPANY.

Bad quality

Eighteen months ago I bought 6 outdoor timber chairs for my bar b area. I painted them with a special outdoor Deluxe Weathershield paint to cope with the sun and outdoor conditions. I noticed a a couple of months ago that an orange fungus type growth appeared then, recently, during a bar b q with friends three chairs just broke when sat on. Obviously the timber was fresh or not suitable for outdoors. I have gone right through their website to find a contact email address so I could send photos, nothing. Will probably not get compensation but would like to show them what a bad product they are promoting. I would never recommend or buy from them again.

No communication

Bought a 15 hp wood chipper, (took my money)and then given a tracking number that has never been used. Tried to contact them, only by email. In the end somehow got to the transport contractor and they said the goods have never been picked up by them. They won't inquire on my behalf as can't get involved. This is a very unhelpful business and the practice of not having phone numbers to contact my deal should not be allowed in Australia. Have traced the parent or associated company of my deal and their office contact is a message answering set up that does not return calls. I now have to take further action to recover my money, do not use these people.

Bad Response and No phone contact

Ordered 3 different pieces of Furniture about 30 all up 2 lots arrived and the other 20 Chairs yet to be dispatched it's a Wine Bar and I can't Open because it would look ridiculous without chairs! Worse it's been over 20Days and still not Dispatched or Sent EVEN WORSE NO PHONE CONTACT FROM THEM WHENNIVE TRIED CALLING JUST A RESPONSE ABOUT COVID? Then Closes? Emails sent but with assurances but 20 plus Days isn't assuring IM VERY DISAPPOINTED ESPECIALLY WITH PREVIOUS HISTORY! WHERS MY CHAIRS!

Don't honor the warranty

I bought a Infrared Thermometer, It worked great at the start, after 9 months it stopped working. Replaced batteries many times and it still didn't work. I contacted MyDeal and the seller said it was out of warranty. I said your booklet that came with the unit said 12 months, they didn't care and said we only offer 6 months warranty. The problem is that complaining to ACCC about a $99 thermometer is not going to go anywhere and they know it. They don't care about Australian Consumer law. A bunch of crooks

Please do not ever purchase item from here. They are a collective group of cheats. Not only, did they not deliver my item worth $90, but charged me $30 for restocking, claiming the item was unclaimed, when I have been following for up for last 20 days right from the time they were supposed to deliver. Worst is they also kept sending SMS saying deliveries are delayed during COVID times.
They just played me, and now I'm left with making alternate arrangements while also loosing money.
