Terrible service poor sellers a lot of counterfeit products and then you can't get through on the phone no customer service at all
NO NO NO cancelling the order on the same Sunday evening within 2 hours, using their system to notify them but without checking the system or email they deliberately sent, even though I have called them in the early morning to update them but still right after my call they are sending my items. Now asking for $80 restoking. Good way to not bringing customer back. NO NO NO.
Now, I believe that your system is highly automated and humans do not have control. Office staff are just sitting there to read the system. (you read the system to tell the customer because the customer can't read and write on your website)
They think customer doesnt understand the warehouse dispatch process, as customer doesnt know what is a computer and what is automations.
As per my experience, other competitors' systems do listen to customers, even without having interaction with humans on the phone.
If I have to face the problem because of you, I am sure I will not face you for a second time. You enjoy your system, get awarded and rewarded.

This is an online business which is price gouging. Shortly after I ordered an item online for $409 I found the same thing online from their supplier for $199 and free delivery.
I wanted to cancel the order, then found it was impossible to do because they only work office hours! For an online store.
I fully expect them to reply two days later that the item has already been shipped and cannot be cancelled.
So not only are they price gouging but when you discover they make it impossible to cancel.
This business has very poor ratings on Sitejabber. Not surprising. They pretend to be cheap then make it hard to cancel once they have your money.
Ordered this Alessi Toaster & Kettle 'bundle' and only received the Kettle. Tried to contact My Deal, then Alessi who referred me back to My Deal. Contacted them 3 times more to locate Toaster... and no response, nothing, zero, zip, zilch. They were not packaged together as the kettle came in it's own box... so second box clearly had no paperwork/labelling possibly. This is the worst online experience and the 'no contact response' from My Deal even worse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! You will lose your money. I would give them zero if there was a zero star rating.
MyDeal is no longer responding to my emails regarding my item not being shipped. They kept telling me to wait longer. I complied and eventually after weeks of waiting I requested a refund and now they are unresponsive.
Very hapoy with my experience with mydeal. Ordered a fountain. Delivery about 2 weeks but that's ok with covid. Is exactly fountain for outdoor I wanted. Exactly as pictured. Very lightweight. Put together in about 2 mins... highly recommend
Customer service is disgusting. Cannot call them, cannot email. They should not be operating. I will never buy from them again. I ordered a chess set and realised within the hour that i should have ordered draughts instead. So i cancelled order straight away. No answer, no reply. Nothing Nothing from them
I am totally disappointed with just my 1st purchase being not traceable and not delivered after more than 1 week showing despatched!
Orders were wrong, sent late and low quality... also with one of the orders... I had been waiting over a month and a half and still nothing so I had to email and what do u know... my parcel "dissapeared" in the mail. Even though it was a big parcel jeeze too much hassle
I buy an item from China it takes 7days and I buy something from my deal in Melbourne and it takes 3 weeks.
I don't understand how their supply chain and delivery system works but I should say it's rubbish...

Warning do not use website … purchase iPhone A grade …. Was given C grade, wrong colour and c grade is $200 difference in price …. Still Waiting for my refund! Even after returning phone 10min after receiving!
People don't use MyDeal their customer service is the worst I have ever known!
I have been waiting over a month for them to pickup the wrong product they sent me!
They keep offering for me to buy the product but I keep telling them I didn't buy it why would I want it now, they will not refund my money, they have tried twice to pick the product up but didn't inform me they were doing so and didn't send any paperwork for the pickup (not that I could have printed it anyway), they never answer the phone or call you back, communication seems to have stopped now I have emailed now for 4 consecutive days with no response!
I bought 40kg dumbbells and they sent 24kg one and now they are out of stock but they are still selling them on the website
I actually believe that they are selling products they don't have and shipping different products then offering a partial refund so they can clear stock!
Plus it took over 2 weeks to get delivered from Melbourne to Sydney (they must have cycled it up) they just blamed the delivery company, I ordered a product from the US it took 4 days?
I don't understand how they are still in business, they couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery in my opinion!
Before making a purchase I always look at reviews. Even after seeing the justified poor reviews I still ignored them because of my need for this purchase. I called them before making sure the purchase was in stock. I was informed it was in stock. Made the 2700 purchase all to get a response from vendor saying they had no stock. For people chasing reviews to make a decision. Do not waste your time with these guys, unless youre into investing wasted time, like I did.
I have just rang bank, they are doing an investigation as goods l ordered on 13th Aug. Havent arrived. When l tried to contact them l couldnt as you had to have account. When l tried to become an account holder after filling out details it said OOPS something went wrong. Tracking no for 1 item supposedly from Aust Post hasnt moved from 19th Aug. Other item hasnt even got tracking no.
There is no address or phone no. On site.

Bought a set of sheets 6 weeks ago, to date no delivery! Have sent several emails and asked for refund…nothing! Such a shonky company! Would never buy from them again nor would I ever recommend them! Have lost my money!
This is to help those who are using the Mydeal website to track an order. You need to go to the couriers website to get an accurate update. I didnt realise this. I had been watching via the Mydeal website and when I missed my goods I went into the Mydeal overview info which you wouldn't necessarily go to when placing an order. In that print it says that once delivery is dispatched you need to track it via the couriers website not theirs. I have recently moved and was waiting for some storage so I can get things off the floor, and because I didnt realise that Mydeal doesnt provide ongoing tracking, I went for a walk for 20 minutes yesterday to get out of the house during restrictions and the courier came at that time. Quite annoying you arent when you order to track via the courier website! Now I am waiting again on the goods and ringing the freight company to see about another delivery!
I recently purchased some bedding from my deal, I received an initial email confirming the order about one week ago. But since then I've heard nothing and can't talk to anybody by phone. Furthermore checkout cart is empty.
VERY TERRIBLE SERVICE AND NOT HAPPY AT ALL THEY NOT SUPPORTIVE OF FRIENDLY AND GIVING FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT ITEMS YOU BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE ON THE PHONE VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Worked for 3 days then announced a glow plug error. No way to contact them to get my refund. I don't even want to give them 1 star. You need to have a negative rating for this mob.
I will report both MyDeal.com and Edison Direct to the ACCC.
Answer: I simply would never use them again. Catch of the Day or Kogan are great.
