I read the reviews about this site before ordering and the main issues seemed to be
1. Self build frames
2. Quality
3. Time scale
4 Not Contactable
5 Company in Germany

On the above I found that

1 Yes you do have to build your canavas and they are more than clear on this on there web site, I decided to take the £7 option and have them do it
2 The quality of the canvas I would imagine would be dependant on the quality of the picture I used a run of the mill camera 10m pixels and the quality of my images is fine the frames are cheap soft wood but you can't see these
3 They are slower than advertised I ordered on the 9/12 and recieved my order on the 22/12 but the did guarentee delivery for christmas and they have arrived
4 The do have an e-mail address which does appear to be a dead end which is always a concern when your parting with money
5. Yes they are in Germany but they don't hide this

Overall I am more than happy with mine the same products were £85 each with other companies I paid £34 each so for an extra couple of days wait they are a bargain, Will use this company again

Have not heard from this company since November, and after many emails, followed by an auto response, and no follow up, and even more phonecalls to the (bogus) number, there is still no canvas for my Dad's birthday on xmas day. Am gutted as I ordered this is good time, even allowing for it takiing longer than they said. I am absolutely disgusted at the lack of any contact at all, and can only assume there is some person sitting in their German residence having a right old laugh and a lot of people's expense. STAY CLEAR!

I have been having problems with getting my order actually delivered as it says on my tracking it is not being delivered due to a wrong address! I have sent 4 emails tried to call the number on the bottom of the email order confirmation and no repsonse as yet. I have tried also speaking directly to GLS and no one i get can speak english. This is so frustrating, i can see on my tracking it is stored at a warehouse but not idea where! Can anyone help me in getting in contact with someone who speaks English to understand what the hell is happening here with my order? Also slightly worried now that i have read this and seen that i have to assemble myself - i'd just like to get it first! Thanks for any help, a very frustrated Mel.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM 'MY-PICTURE.CO.UK'. Their prices may be cheap, but cheap is exactly what you get – cheap and nasty. I ordered ten identical canvases; they arrived three weeks later. Although the canvases arrived already attached to the frames, it looked as though a three year old had assembled them, and the picture itself was the wrong size for the frame which meant that vital parts of my photo had been cut off. To cut a long story short, I requested a full refund, but the company refused claiming that they were a German-based company who, under German law, were not obliged to issue refunds. I immediately raised a dispute, and then a claim, through Paypal and returned the useless canvases to 'my picture' in Germany using a track and trace service. Luckily, Paypal found in my favour and I have since received a full refund. In future, I will use only a reputable UK based company and I would advise everyone else to do the same. The product that these people produce is, in my opinion, sub-standard and of extremely poor quality – do not waste your money...!

I've read the bad reviews and although our canvas didn't turn up for about 10 days which is fine considering it's coming over land from Germany. It's fantastic quality at a great price. I was fully aware that it would be a kit for me to put together - fine great instructions. I had watched a video on YouTube before ordering to make sure I knew I would be able to do it. You can pay extra to have it made up for you. I borrowed a staple gun and was well on my way to my 1 st stretched canvas - quite proud of myself really lol. I will be using this site again and again.

Wish I'd read reviews before ordering. I emailed the same day I placed the order to cancel and requested a refund. They replied 2 days later saying order was processed but I thought that as they'd actually replied then maybe canvases would be good. I was able to track the order which, again, made me think that maybe this company had improved and they arrived about 1 week after placing order. The canvases are disgusting, the colours are nothing like the photo's that were uploaded, the whole thing has an orange cast and the bottom of them are blurred and out of focus. I e-mailed the company straight away and they have not replied. I am e-mailing on a daily basis. Like many other people, I thought I was dealing with a UK company due to the web address and as it is a German company I do not expect any after sales service and don't think that they care about bad reviews. People should avoid this company like the plague!

Hi - i used this company and read a lot of bad reviews written by people that didnt really research the product.
I orderd three fairly large prints, one that was taken on my iphone and they were delivered in 5 days - good quality prints and very happy with them, the frames were of good quality.
And seeing as all this came to £140 - and i saved around £100 on other companies with the same service, i invested in a staple gun and canvas pliers (£15).
I took the pictures myself, made the canvas myself and it makes the product more personal.
I would recommend this company absolutely, only slight glitch was delivery was 5 days and not 2, but lets be honest this isnt a problem at all.

The bas reviews on here are clearly down to people not researching what they were buying.
Please don't be put off with assembling the product itself, its reasonably easy, and you don't really need the canvas pliers, however a staple is very handy.

Dont be put off by the reviews of this company, but bear in mind they arent built but the product is very good for the money.

I ordered a canvas of my new grandaughter from this site. I knew that I had to put it together. I received it within 8-10 days. My daughter was so delighted with the canvas that she ordered one straight away for her in-laws christmas and once again it was delivered about 8 - 10 days later and was also very acceptable. For the money that we paid we really didn't accept such a good quality print and also remember it is free p + p. I suggest if your looking for really great quality then maybe you should be willing to pay for it!

Contrary to many of the other negative comments I have read on here about this site, I was aware that I would have to assemble the frame myself, and my order arrived incredibly quickly (3 days after ordering).

However, there were problems with 2 of the 5 prints I ordered. One was a very small problem that, for the price I paid, I am prepared to live with - there was a tiny black mark on the print, maybe 2mm long, in an area where you wouldn't really notice it unless you knew it was there,

The other issue was more serious - a large dirty black smear across the face of the person in the photo. I emailed and called, and initially got no reply. They did eventually respond, asking for me to send them photos of the problem. Having read the FAQs I was aware of what was required and I had actually attached the necessary photos to my original email (the one they replied to!). I responded again and have, so far, heard nothing.

The customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I also think it is very misleading that you place an order through a. CO.UK website, in English, only to find you're actually ordering from a German company (in Cologne). I didn't find out until my order was dispatched and I used the tracking information they supplied. Had I known this in advance, I wouldn't have ordered from my-picture.co.uk. Concerns over international delivery times and my inability to speak German (to resolve any potential problems) would have stopped me using this site.

In practise, the delivery times were not a problem. However my concerns around contacting the customer support team are proving justified... I am not sure if it's a language thing, or if they are just ignoring my emails. Either way - it's not great.

Only gave 1 star because no stars not available.

WORST company I have ever used - doesn't tell you it is not assembled. It is the most badly made frame I have ever seen - does not even fit together and the printed picture is of terrible quality. It si suitbale only as landfill

Asked for a refund and got told - no we're a German company and we don't have to refund.

What a load of thieving conmen AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs.
