Currently on day 10 with no air conditioning, Have a 2 year old that currently has a upper respiratory infection and double ear infections that is to remain out of any heat conditions due to his health, called every day to have issue escalated first ac company came out and said we need a whole new ac unit main stream denied this order and the next day another gentleman comes out and was here 15 mins stating to much freon was put in the unit so he removed it and cleaned pipes 2 hours after he left ac read 80 degrees inside ask for relocation this denied and now have a 2nd request in, Requested for portable units to be brought in until issues is resolved my electricity bill went from $280 to $455 in a month can't ask for a credit in rent until matter is resolved Completely unacceptable in every way possible as there are options and no one is willing to help make this matter right!
We rented a home from MS Renewal for two years in Tampa Florida. We moved into the new home only to find that the home had not been cleaned prior to our move in date, the landscaping was over grown and the house was in disrepair. Every time we had a maintenance request, we had to pull teeth to get someone to come out. And, when someone did come out, they just came to look at the issue and would then send the lowest bidder out to fix the issue which in most cases didnt fix the issue. Now that we have moved out we finally received our deposit refund only to be shorted over $600 without an explanation. I cannot get anyone to call me back or respond by email. Please do not make the mistake I made by wasting THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS with Mainstreet Renewal.
I was charged $100 for routine maintenance. As a renter, I've NEVER had to pay out of my own pocket for minor maintenance issues.
Also, Main Street Renewal goes through a 3rd party for maintenance. Because of this, maintenance people oftentimes show up randomly with no warning or call ahead of time. And to top it off, if you're not home at the time they randomly show up, Main Street Renewal will vharge you $100.
Just a word of caution, if you will, to avoid renting from Mainstreet Renewal. In the two years we rented a home from MSR, we were without AC upstairs in the bedrooms for a total of 2 months (including immediately upon moving in) before they finally replaced the unit, the heating unit was out of service for 3 weeks in the downstairs, the master shower leaked into the dining room 3 different times, the dishwasher stopped working and was not replaced for 6 weeks. The railing on the front porch was rotten, but they just painted over it then had the audacity to charge US out of the security deposit. Also, be forewarned that if you plan on renewing the lease, they attempt to raise your rent by exorbitant amounts,,,do not agree! Counter their "offer". They are inept and corrupt, imho.
They charged me thrice in between April 23 - June 26 for ficticious claims which the HOA didn't charge and didn't reply my emails and their in-app complain tab doesn't work. This is fraud at Mainstreet Renewal and I would get an attorney on this if I have to. It's becoming ridiculous now. If there was negative stars, they deserve it

After evicting the past renters, this company has allowed the yard to become totally overgrown. There is no pride or responsibility for the property. They should not be trusted to care for a home or be a part of a community.
Truly a dangerous company to rent a property from. The houses are completely unfinished and unlivable. My home is infested with animals that have put my pregnant fiance's health and unborn child's life at risk. I have spoken to two of their maintenance staff that are prepared to make statements about the known conditions they let homes be rented in and the deadly environments they have put renters into. Someone needs to contact me immediately about terminating this lease and returning our funds. We are prepared to escalate this however far is necessary.
I've been in the house that I'm renting for Main Street Renewal for 3 months out of those 3 months I reported 2 months the same issues over and over again they act like they're sending somebody out just to have it on paper that somebody attempted to come and they never come the same issues that I'm having the day that I moved down the same ones that I'm having 3 months later Main Street Renewal definitely slumlords they don't even deserve a zero star
Impossible to get them to follow up on complaints. If you call their number no one can speak English. Last time I checked I still live in the USA. First was having issues with pool. I would get a response, but when issued continued, now they ignore my emails. Report a leak from roof on June 1. Still not fixed and cabinets are ready to fall off wall. Has damaged items I had on my counter. They do not care about you once you start renting from them. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM MAINSTREET RENEWAL., YOU WILL REGRET IT.
It has been 6 days with no running water in my home due to a faulty motor for the pump and main street renewal has to say is that 'we will escalate your case and I understand and I'm sorry" no they don't understand and no they're not sorry, this is absolutely ridiculous. I want to work for this company, do nothing and get paid that's a dream come true, cause none of their people do a damn thing to assist their tenants.
This company is unethical, unprofessional, and discriminatory. They will allow your applications to sit. And then send you emails saying they already leased the home. Even you if you call daily for updates nothing. They have many complaints. If you have a housing voucher they will discriminate because they have to keep the home up to par and most of their homes are not. Currently looking to file a discrimination lawsuit against this company.
Terrible service, basement flooded, roof leaked, mold, fence broken, took 4 months to "fix" flooded basement and now it's flooded again, no accountability, no one is responsible for anything, worst maintenance dept ever, scheduled with vendors that aren't even in our state; wasted so much of our time calling, texting,emailing,waiting for noone to show up to service appts, do not rent from them they are terrible!

May 10th we had an awful hail storm and just a mile away there was a tornado. Roofers checked out my neighbors place on the 12th, did a spot check on ours and I immediately reported that the roof suffered damage. Since then, 10 maintenance requests, 6 escalations and NO RESOLVE! Since the original maintenance request, there is now standing water on the lower level where all the bedrooms and bathrooms are located. The floor is buckling and seeping water, and mold, black mold, is growing. Some drywall they had a contr remove, and he didn't clean up, or try to dry the floors, and the walls are still open. The tile in the master bathroom started falling off and the tile backer board is rotted and full of black mold. The sump pump runs 24/7, and we have had more and more rain. Yesterday it wad rain plus hail. Oh, and today they sent me a threatening email saying I will be evicted in 10 days. I have the receipts, I know my rights, I have sat on hold for over an hour, and I have threatened to call every major news station and every housing board in every town they operate in. I am beyond furious!
Add on: this issue has been put into escalation more than once, so having an "advocate" say thank you for your patience, is really the most maddening, condescending response that could be offered. Action speaks louder than words!
You applay for a house and they give it away before you complete the application. Its happened 3 times and Im done.

I tried to rent a home from this company. Oddly enough this is the same company that currently manages the apartment complex that I live in and have been rent for 4 years! But I applied for 3 different homes. 2 of which I was definitely qualified for. An email was sent from a third party which did not contain any information regarding the reason why my application was denied. When I called the company they could not tell me the reason for my denial. Just a complete waste of money and time…. Based on the reviews I guess I dodged a bullet!

I am a new resident I moved from Miami to Georgia 5 days ago. I don't have any appliances in my kitchen. Unable to reach a supervisor at all.
I have completed the application process, no communication still for a few weeks for the next step. The home I filled out for the security box was incorrect so could not self tour. Reported the issue and few weeks later still has the same issue for the property. Contacted the company a couple times get told the same thing will be updated in your email. I have reached out by phone and email still no response no communication. Paid for the application and just left in the dark with no results. This should be reasonable for a refund as customers need to go elsewhere due to the company horrible process and no communication. Everywhere there is an application fee.
Answer: Don't bother... waste of money for an overpriced house. Their customer service is terrible. They give you the run around and the techs they send out are not certified. Look like people the just find off the street and hire for a repair to do. My husband and I are currently looking for an attorney to get out of this lease. We've only been renting from them for 4 months and have had SOOO many problems with this house. Look else where.
