I had just bought a new dryer finally when my electrical outlet malfunctioned and I was not able to receive heat to the dryer at all. Rod, one of Main Street Renewal's maintenance men came out and checked it and didn't leave until he had fixed the problem and showed me that my dryer was getting nice and hot! The best thing is I didn't have to wait more time to schedule with an elecrician! He was also very nice and great to work with! I appreciate the prompt and excellent service!
I have reached out multiple times to MainStreet Renewal to get my A/C fixed as it was just blowing warm air into my home. They stated that the maintenance team would advise technicians would bring some out and be direct contact with me and haven't received so much as an email regarding fixed date. Other maintenance requests are sitting at over a month old for floor repairs and have yet to be taken care of. Rent still paid but the lack of awareness and assistance by their regional manager Kacy Bragg is ridiculous. They give absolutely no regard to human decency. I will be contacting my legal team for a lawsuit as this is the second case in 3 months being at this residence where there has been a failure on the business end.
We have several issues since we moved in and opened several maintenance requests. After having to escalate (we were told it would be over 30 days to get our repairs done, which include plumbing issues, we finally got a date (today 9/25/23). Got a text that the tech A. D. (just initials, but we have his name) was on his way, click here for ETA (didn't work). Then, got a text that the repair was complete. HE NEVER SHOWED UP. Then I called and found out he canceled the request and opened a new one to put us back in the queue. Customer service is a JOKE! Sorry, can't help. Putting you back in the queue. NOT ACCEPTABLE. "by the way, you can pay your rent on the portal" Seriously WTF? Sadly, the house is great and in a great neighborhood. Everything else is horrible so far. And please do not reply saying "we're sorry and contact us" because that doesn't work!
Our plumbing is constantly backing up and Mainstreet Renewal refuses to fix the issue. We can not use water without sewage backing up into our home and due to uninhabitable conditions I have requested lease termination and the company refuses to respond to me about it so now I am forced to hire an attorney.
The garage door came off the track in October of 2022 wasn't fixed until Feb 2023 than charged me for replacing it. I got ahold of the company that did the job they sent me the email they sent msrenewal saying that it wasn't my fault but msrenewal still charged me than tried to evict me because I refused to pay it plus charged me late fees on top of everything else. I do not recommend this company.
I've been with them for 5 years now. Everything was actually pretty good on service and maintenance until last year.Ive been waiting for 2 months just to get a refrigerator replacement since it went bad. The service agents don't know what the hell they are doing now.And the maintenance dept is pretty much incognito. Obviously,the departments dont communicate with each other at all.I've sent multiple request and they came out a month later to see about the fridge and haven't heard from them since! I couldve bought a refrigerator by now.But they definitely want that rent on time.lol.My main water line busted in my front yard on Easter and it took them til June to get someone to come out and fix it.My house was uninhabitable because of no water pressure.I got an air bnb,and sent them all the bills to credit my rent
While i was absent and they denied that too! This will be my last lease with them.

I could go on and on with this company. They basically did not do a proper walk through before I moved in. The day I moved in I had no working water. After hours on phone and lots of miscommunication, someone reached out weeks later! It's been a nightmare and this company should be shut down. They simply do not help u and if they do, it takes way longer than it should. Many other things, but too much to list. Do not rent from them!
I contacted Main Street Renewal today at 3:58 pm regarding a listing for a rental home in Marietta, Ga. I spoke with a girl named Erica who had less than basic proficiency in English. I called to obtain some information regarding the home so as to make a determination as to whether I wanted to drive 7 1/2 hours to view the home. Erica was only able to respond to my questions with " I don't know". I asked her several time to allow me to speak with a supervisor and Erica said that they don't have the answers to my question. She told me I would have to file an application in order to speak to a leasing agent for the answers I sought. I am amazed that this company is still in business with their lack of transparency and ignorant customer service agents.
Never ever rent With this Company, it has zero consideration for customer service, Maintenance doesn't know what to do and they never show up to do what the work order was put in for, ended up in a hotel with a Eviction after the lawyer took us out of the courtroom, never let us present any evidence to the judge, then said we would have a Zero balance and No eviction on our credit if we agreed to vacate.
After the agreement then they said we would have a eviction and a Balance on on our credit.
This company is so robotic that it still sends email for rent and we don't even live on the property.
Rental companies like these need to be took down, they are worse then the neighborhood slum lord.
Never get call backs and nobody knows what they are talking about.
The company is Shady Business do not rent with This Trash based Company, you will regret spending your hard Earned money.
This company absolutely sucks! I have had SOOOO many issues! From getting charged random fees, getting charged an extra cat fee that they never take off, and getting charged renters insurance when we pay statefarm for renters insurance and have sent proof over 100 times. Now it won't let me login to the resident portal to pay rent and it won't let me reset my password. No one EVER gets back to you and now they are expecting me to tack on $20 to pay over them phone since they can't get me into the portal. It's ridiculous! I can't wait to get the hell out of this house so I never have to stress over this company again! Do NOT RENT FROM THEM!

My entire process, from application to move in day went smoothly! I especially want to thank Breana Matviak - Ft Myers Leasing Agent for always being available-so pleasant and helpful during this entire process. Also, Ian Dowdy - FM Leasing agent, helped as well, especially on closing day saved the day! I had the moving truck at the house and an Internet Installer on the way, but the home access code didn't work because of my error. I didn't pay the correct final payment (Renters - don't forget to also pay prorated days and/or rental insurance payments!) Ian & the Residence team followed through, and I received the Welcome email and code quickly. * I will add another review with the repair process when needed as well. TY MSR!

I was a mainstreet resident. They are evil. The entire company knows the scam. I actually had three employees who told me they prayed for my success in court against them and told me how they got away with everything that they do. I actually have proof of the corruption within the company, and the corrupt judges and county inspectors that are in their pockets. I am talking actual black and white, documented proof. If you're seeing this before moving in. Don't do it. I am so against these types of reviews, because sometimes companies are given a bad rap or they made one mistake and it sticks with them forever, but this... I can't sit quiet anymore. I'm praying for all who were taken by this company. May you receive justice.
These people have HORRIBLE customer service! You CANNOT reach a human by phone - their advertising of properties is VERY deceptive. They use OLD pictures, not current. They DO NOT maintain the upkeep of the grounds when property is vacant; they DO NOT assist the renter for any type repair. They are NOT customer service oriented at all. I live next door to one of their properties & knew the previous neighbor, along with viewing their website. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK/RESEARCH BEFORE renting with these people, especially in Georgia. Just a word of warning!

This landlord has an impossible system to report problems. All they want is the rent. Takes 2 weeks for management company to respond, then 2 more weeks to get landlord approval, then forever to get repairs. No live operators any more.
I'll start by saying from start to finish it has been a diaster dealing with MS renewal. They don't answer maintenance requests in a timely manner. We stayed there 2 years and in 2021 when we first moved there I begged someone to come look at the condition with us and they never came. We had to go through extreme measures of getting rid of bugs and when we moved they give us part of our deposit back stating the paint was damaged the carpet was in bad condition and the reality is I left the house more clean than it was when it was rented to me. Now I'm having to fight about my deposit back when everything they are trying to charge us for is insane. Starting with the small items... Light bulbs that we had to replace when we moved there. HVAC filters that were dirty when we moved that and we replaced at our own expense. Paint and carpet that was never replaced before we got there. It is insane how they do people and I wouldn't recommend them to ANYBODY! Run as far as you can from this company. They are very deceitful!
This company should be charged and locked up for the sleazy bull they do. They denied a request back in May for AC being fixed at this time it was clear that it was about to go out. Now setting in Florida in July with kids and no AC and they won't do anything to help in a timely manner. (If you locked a kid in the car with no AC you will bog to jail) why is it any different for mainstreet renewal. This could take weeks as they have in the past. Water off due to gout water heater exploded for 19 days. No reimbursement for expenses and still paid rent. Roof leaks for months and couldn't use the garage. Raw Sewage Backed up I'm home for weeks at a time. Do not rent from this company they put families at risk every day and it should be illegal.
I wish I could rate this place on here but there's probably a reason they don't have that option available. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY.
I moved in a year and a half ago and it has been problem after problem since. Flooding upon moving in that wasn't resolved promptly, termites and roaches that wasn't resolved, etc etc.
Our most recent problem has been ongoing for two months. Our dishwasher broke mid May. We submitted a maintenance request and a worker showed up about a week and a half later. He said yup you need a new one I'll submit it. A week goes by I hear nothing so I call the line. The woman on the phone said oh ya there's no note of that so it wasn't ordered. She says she will escalate it and I will hear from them in a few days. A week goes by… nothing. I call again the woman on the phone says "oh there's no notes of this I'll escalate this." A week goes by… nothing. I call again the man on the phone says "ya I have no update for you." Finally I just submit another request. A worker comes out over a week later. While he's there he broke our sink and left us without running water for two days. Also obviously didn't fix our dishwasher. A new worker comes out a week later to submit pictures of our dishwasher for a THIRD TIME. We finally get one delivered to our house but surprise surprise it can't be installed. Whatever idiot redid our house put the dishwasher too far away from our sink so everything will have to ripped out. A worker was supposed to come today… he never showed up. It's been over two months of no dishwasher.
You will never ever talk to the same person more than once. Every time you email or call it will always be a different person. I was excited because I got this email saying she'd be our main contact. We heard from her one time and she no longer responds to any email.
This company is run by crooks who does not care about you or your money.
Answer: Don't bother... waste of money for an overpriced house. Their customer service is terrible. They give you the run around and the techs they send out are not certified. Look like people the just find off the street and hire for a repair to do. My husband and I are currently looking for an attorney to get out of this lease. We've only been renting from them for 4 months and have had SOOO many problems with this house. Look else where.
