3 years rented and its been the worst 3 years I have ever seen for a property regarding their lack of care, terrible maintenace and work order handling and the renters seem to care about their properties more than they do! Every 1 star review you see is true! Need anything fixed? Maintenaced? NOT going to happen with 2 sets of people to take pics and then never doing anything about it. Front porch tile is kitchen tile and its cracked because its laid wrong and really slick. Our fence post uprooted from a storm, all that had to happen is to get a new post and reconcrete it back in ground but as you see in pic thats what they did, look at the stakes used to hold it up to house! Huge tree is totally taking over the house and unsafe for any weather and hazard to house, but of course no one is going to trim it! They are quick to take your money but are quick to ignore you. TERRIBLE COMPANY! STAY AWAY!

We've only been in a rental with this company for 6 weeks. It has been a fight every step of the way. From their inefficent structure for applications, to their inability to submit work orders in a timely fashion, to getting emergency maintenance requests reviewed and scheduled in a timely manner. We live in Florida, it's July and our AC isn't working. I have made multiple maintenance requests, called the phone numbers to only be disconnected time and again, tried to leave my phone number for a call back only to never be called back, sent emails to the Resident "Care" Team, DMed them on Facebook and Instagram... everything except smoke signals or carrier pigeons, though that isn't far off. If my children, my husband or myself are afflicted with heat stroke, heat exhaustion or worse, they are the responsible party and will be held accountable.

So my boyfriend and I are looking to rent a home for a couple of years and have had absolute heck with this company. We applied Monday and my guarantors' application was canceled mid-way through the application. So we called and were on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes! We finally got through to someone and "fixed" the problem. Today-Wednesday- my boyfriend gets a call at work saying the application is missing information. I swear he and I triple-checked everything before we resubmitted the application. But it was saying that on my guarantors' application the ss was not put into the system. We tried to fix that but it said that his application was canceled and we could not gain access to it. Next, it was saying that my boyfriend did not submit his paystubs even though that was the first thing he uploaded. Now when we were doing all of this it was saying the home was still available at noon on Wednesday, now at 5, it is saying that it is unavailable and the people we were first put in contact with when we just called said they were not able to look into the home availabilities if we already put in an application and had to get in contact the application department and it is now closed. We are also waiting for an email back from the leasing company with a PROMO (again sent around noon today) so we will not have to pay another $50 deposit for my guarantor that we have already paid for. From our understanding, we would have to spend another $150 to apply for another house if the one we applied to is now unavailable.
Absolutely horrible and way too much stress to deal with!
No one knows how to get anything done. 4 open and closed work requests to get a refrigerator fixed/replaced. No ice, no cold food, no way to store food x 8 days. Kept telling me because I'm exposed on a daily basis to covid, they cant fix anything. I am a healthcare worker and exposed to a lot more serious things on a daily basis but they won't help you if you work in the medical field. My advice. LIE! Don't answer the "survey". Will not be renewing and will be telling everyone about this horrible treatment
Each department has a different emails address and NOONE talks to each other. They do not know how to properly transfer within their own phone system: so every call is at least 1 hour with no resolution.
They tried to raised my rent $165/month during a pandemic!

Just moved in to a place that was falling apart! The doors are damaged, windows are cracked, there are holes in the walls, and yes there is a cockroach and spider infestation. We were rented this home and basically told to fix it ourselves on several occasions. Awful service!

I applied paid all the fees. Was told the house i wanted was already rented. But ive seen the same house on different websites still for rent. This company takes fees for property thats not for rent. Scam
I'm not the one to bash or even ever left a review prior to this. This company is a laugh. They dragged me out for two weeks then somehow lose half the application with my partners info and now inform me I need to re apply after hours and hours or waiting to even get in contact. How are these people even in business? This is hurting people more than helping. A total of 3 weeks now it will have been for a application approval? Bull$#*!
I applied for a rental property with MainStreet Renewal they canceled my application and took my funds $120 the same day I have spoke to several peoples in that company they state they don't give refunds I've asked what did I pay for since my application was never processed I would like my hard earned money back since they canceled the application

We have rented from MS Renewal for 2 years. To say I've had a bad experience with them this week is beyond an understatement. First issue started last Tuesday. I awoke to my carbon monoxide going off. At first it was just beeping every 5 minutes and then it was going off and I silenced it twice. I called 911 and they sent fire Marshall out to sweep the house and crawl space as we have gas heat. There was nothing detected. He advises the detector is old and should be replaced. I called and opened a ticketing stating fire Marshall said it was high priority due to no detector could be deadly if we have a leak. They set us as low priority maintenance repair for June 14th. Two weeks away.
Fast forward to today. A tree at the property line has falling and is teetering above my house. It hasn't crashed the roof yet but it's popping and cracking ready to fall. My neighbor called the authorities and they came out and advised us we should not sleep in the bedrooms tonight that is under the tree. He said not a matter of IF it would fall but WHEN it will fall.
Again we are marked as low priority on the maintenance request. Authorities told me to call back and give his name and number. Ive been on hold over an hour. So much for 24/7 staffing.
I will NEVER recommend MS Renewal to ANYONE! My family is in danger and they don't care. After over an hour on hold the call disconnected. I've left messages and call back numbers and they are not responding.
This company is the biggest SCAM. They will take your money NEVER answers phones and when or if they do answer NO ONE has information for you this is a sad world we live in
My husband and I applied to a home and paid the application fees and sent in the papers. They were very fast to ask for money and to check my credit but more than 5 business days have gone by and we haven't heard back. We have been calling every day and EVERY DAY is a 2+ hour hold. The first day I was told that the next day someone should be contacting me (that never happened). Called back again the next day (waited on hold for 2 hours) and the girl told me that she was going to send and email to the leasing agent because there were no notes in my profile and she should be calling or emailing me that day because 5 days have already gone by but of course no one called or emailed. Called again today and have been on the phone for over 2 hours and the guy has the nerve to tell me that he will email corporate to see if I can get an answer ( I have emailed them 2 times!). This is a horrible leasing company. If this is the process at the beginning, I cant imagine if something breaks and I would have to call or request anything. Running away! They can keep my deposit!
Awful customer service (never late for rent) maintenance issues from the day of move in! Issue completed the last month of the year lease. Thats correct taken a year to complete maintenance issues. Charges for appointments that were never made let alone confirmed. No remedy for tenants. No honor or integrity from employees, missing items when mainstreet renewal employee had left
We tried to go see a house 5 different times. Apparently the lockbox was never setup correctly and could never get in. Was able to view another house, turned in application, was approved and nothing. Have tried calling, emailing for week as house just sits empty and nothing at all.
Scares me to think how bad they would be if we were in a house and any issues came up.

I feel cheated by this company. Agents do not answer emails for more than 20 days waiting for an answer, they take the money from the applications and then they do NOTHING. Horrible headache I do NOT recommend it at all
Fridge does not fit under kitchen cabinets, was told (in writing on April 2nd) the cabinet would be removed so the fridge could fit before we signed the lease. Move in day comes (4/21), and it's still not fixed. 4/23 a work order was submitted over the phone (the operator did it incorrectly), so another had to be submitted on 4/28.5/6 a maintenance technician was sent to my house to tell me that they were never planning on removing the cabinet and that he had told them during our pre-move in inspection that a new fridge would need to be ordered. 5/13 Home Depot drops a fridge off in my garage but says they don't have the authority to install it or even bring it in the house because MS Renewal won't let them. I call MS Renewal to have someone install it and am told it will be 24-48 hours, even by a supervisor, before they can get someone out here. This is totally unacceptable that I'm having to deal with a fridge in the middle of my kitchen because they don't have the wits about them to handle this in a timely manner. They had 19 days before we moved in to fix it (but didn't), and now have had almost 3 weeks since we've moved in to deal with it (but haven't).
Answer: Don't bother... waste of money for an overpriced house. Their customer service is terrible. They give you the run around and the techs they send out are not certified. Look like people the just find off the street and hire for a repair to do. My husband and I are currently looking for an attorney to get out of this lease. We've only been renting from them for 4 months and have had SOOO many problems with this house. Look else where.
