What just happened?
November 30, 2021

Bought the 3 month subscription 2 days ago. Did all the installation from my iphone device to another person's iPhone. Installed successfully via iCloud credentials. Made sure iCloud backup was on/enabled/updated. Softwares updated. Finally get my first update/sync and I only have half the services guaranteed. No app monitoring. No message monitoring. Photos/videos unable to be viewed even after download. Got a few emails. Can only read about a sentence for each note. Attached files unable to view. No sms viewing. No iMessage viewing. No Snapchat viewing no Facebook no what's app no nothing. I maybe got 3% of what was promised. I want my money back unless this can be fixed please thanks. I also cannot unlink device and reinstall the same device for some reason so I can't even just try it again. I'm really angry and upset. I just lost a lot of money that I needed but was willing to use it specifically for these next few days. Please help me

The comment they posted to apologize and them giving my refund only came after my review gained more and more viewers. It took months and months of emails and phone calls and posting reviews on as many sites as possible to get them to do the right thing. It should not have taken such a campaign for me to get the refund I deserved. Save yourself the trouble and don't give them your money.

LIARS AND SCAMMERS
PEASE do not be fooled by these people. I was looking for an app that would monitor Snapchat on an IPhone without jailbreaking the phone. After hours of online research I found mspy. Many people had written about it being a good choice and capable of doing what I needed. The people that wrote these things must have been working for mspy, because they lied. On the mspy web page blog there was a post by mspy giving people specific directions to set up to monitor Snapchat on an Iphone without jailbreaking. In addition I went to the mspy chat and asked specifically if mspy is capable of doing this... the response was yes. I figured this was enough confirmation and gave them my money for a one year subscription. What followed was days of me trying to set this up on the target phone and MANY calls and online chats. It would not monitor a single thing on the phone even aside from Snapchat. Finally in another chat I again asked for help and finally got the truth in response. They told me that mspy is not able to monitor Snapchat without jailbreaking the phone. I went through the online procedures to explain how they mislead me and requested a refund. I received a reply saying they would not refund my money because my reason was classified as a personal dislike of the app and not covered under their refund policy. I finally was able to get a person on the phone and told him what the email said and explained to him that it was not a personal reason... it was the result of them scamming me into buying something I could not use. The person on the phone said that I already had their response and he couldn't help me but I could email them again. I told him I had been getting ignored and put off for a week and needed to speak to his supervisor. A supervisor named Alex called me and explained everything AGAIN. At first he said he had no record of the original chat saying yes (before I purchased meaning yes it would do what I needed) so they would not refund. Then I said even if that's true what about the false directions posted telling people how to monitor without jailbreak? He said if I could send a screenshot of this he would process the refund. I sent the screenshot. I received a reply that said it was still a personal reason but they would offer me a 30% refund and I could still use the software to monitor the device for the length I purchased. I guess they forgot that I told them IT NEVER MONITORED ANYTHING ON THE PHONE! To this lame offer I responded:
This is NOT acceptable. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I spoke with Alex on the phone. I was lied to by your chat person and the website that this would monitor Snapchat without jailbreak before I bought it. After days of not being able to get this to work I was told it would not work without jailbreak. You are liars and scammers. I have spent weeks trying to get you to do the right thing with emails and phone calls and you keep giving lame excuses and trying to avoid accepting responsibility. Alex told me when I provided the screenshot proving you mislead people online he would move forward with my refund. Instead you offer me 30% and the ability to continue using it to monitor... THIS NEVER WORKED... I AM NOT ABLE TO MONITOR ANYTHING! UNBELIEVABLE! If you do not give me the full refund I will post everything I mentioned here on every possible review site I can and report you to Better Business, Consumer Affairs, and anywhere else I can to warn people away from your lies and scams. I will post the screenshot where you lied and the chat where you tell me I can't use it without jailbreak. Refund my FULL amount! They then sent an offer of 70%. I demanded full. Then they sent a message that I would receive "less than 9%" due to various fees.

Now they are ignoring me. I have sent 2 more emails asking for the status of my refund and have gotten nothing. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!

Did not care for the program and requested refund multiple times only to be offered extended membership, place membership on hold for a month and then told that they will not refund because I agreed to the refund policy. Their refund policy basically includes every single reason that a person would want a refund and states that those reasons cannot be refunded. Scam of a business, horrible customer service, would NEVER recommend this app to anyone. Go to Bark, so much better and way better customer service, and if you don't like the way the product works, don't worry, you can get a refund.

Dishonest

I was with M spy for a few years and it worked just OK on my phone. It constantly dropped from my phone and I had to reinstall it over and over which was very difficult. I stuck with them-didnt know about other options- and paid them every year. I bought a new phone and mspy did not work on it. I asked for a refund just on the remainder of my contract since I had just renewed it for a whole year and was turned down. Complete disrespect, rude, and terrible customer service. Kidsgard pro works great if anyone Is looking for a great app and wonderful customer service. Stay away from mspy

The website is full of lies. You will not be able to read text messages or see phones calls or anything other than location (if it works at that particular time) and notes. This is a terrible program please do not waste your money. If you don't like it they will only refund a third of your money. They are liars and cheats and do not care about the truth. Here is the proof. They want you to pay more to get them to set it up but that does not work either. Please please do not waste your money.

This "company" has no real proprietary software. They needed full remote access to my computer to install it, and it was just a free app from another company. It doesn't work at all- in order to see my kids data, I have to physically connect it to the computer and upload the data. If I have physical access to the phone, I can just look at the phone! This is a total scam. If you look at where this "company" originates from, it's Russia. I can't believe I fell for this, but it seems that they have seeded the internet with positive reviews to get gullible people like me to pay for this "software". Don't fall for it!

I had some concerns with my teenage daughter's social media. I googled "snapchat tracker for iphone". The first website to come up was mspy. I read some reviews and their initial claims that it would work for iphone. I'm a savvy shopper who is on a strict budget, I finally read enough to feel like it was worth the 59.99 annual premium to ensure her safety. Once downloaded, I could not get it to work. They sent some more links for troubleshooting and in one of those links I discovered that it no longer works for iphone. How convenient for them to put that there but leave that out other places! I never once was able to utilize this program. I sent them an email requesting a refund within the hour. They got back to me the next day and said they could only refund me a partial payment. Very shady! I tried to escalate and the best they could do was refund me 70%. So they still made $17.99 off of a program I never used! What a ripoff! It appears this is how they make their money, taking advantage of concerned parents who are already frazzled WHAT A SHAM! It was a huge let down to be taken advantage of instead of find genuine support o help our future generation be safe in the digital age.

Scam

This is spyware that I purchased for my daughters phone. The website says its a quick 10-15min install, you can read texts among a large variety of other things. It promises alot of things that it does not do. I had a very hard time installing about 2 hours and that was with help. It uses a 3rd party app and to do all the things it claims you have to plug your target phone into your computer on the same wifi. You can not access it without doing so. It is a very misleading and inaccurate product, but supposed to #1 rated. So before I installed it I asked for a refund. They said no, I installed after many hours tried to use it and realized its crap and doesn't do what it is intended to do. They say no with the same link of why. I paid for a year $99.99 and have not used it and it was not 2 weeks and they will not give a refund for anything. Just keeping my money, they don't care.

Don't believe anything in their website. Mspy does not work on iPhones. Their is a no refund policy which they have done as they know their product does not work as they have advertised. You will read on their website that it won't work on phones brought before 2010-2011 (see attached photo) but the truth is IT DOES NOT WORK ON ANY IPHONES AT ALL. It's a total scam. I brought mspy as I am a mum wanting to know whats going on with her son and thought mspy would give me answers. They have offered a extended 3 month subscription which I totally don't understand as NONE of the program features work, so why do I need a extended subscription. Some features work for 24 hours, then when you log in the next day to see details on the phone & it is all deleted. Everyday you need to re-enter all details likes it a new phone only to be deleted 24 hours later.
Mspy is a scam for iPhone users. DO NOT PURCHASE

Expensive garbage is what it is. GPS doesn't work, app and web tracking doesn't work, text and call tracking doesn't work, nothing does. The vast majority of the time, the website itself doesn't work. Instant uninstall!

No refunds, if you sign up online there are no trial periods. You agree to the terms and they stand by that regardless of your reason. This company is not located in USA make sure you are fully aware before purchasing.

Do not read the 5 star reviews. Like an idiot, I did not see the many negative reviews til after downloading the app.
The app absolutely doesn't work like the many negative reviews say.
You try to cancel and get a refund and it won't happen. Also, their customer service is disconnected, probably because of so many pissed off customers trying to get a refund.
Don't bother trying to get a refund, call your bank for fraudulent charges.
Again this is not a legit company. Avoid avoid avoid.

Extremely disappointed

I purchase a couple weeks ago for an i phone 11. After purchase they told me the phone was not compatible with jailbreak. I have been trying to get a refund since. Noone will help me. They keep saying someone will contact me. I am starting to think they are a scam and are going to keep my money. I do NOT recommend this company.

False advertising

We reviewed Mspy and several other applications thoroughly before buying. We needed something to keep track of what our daughter was up to on the iPad. We read on their site, and asked via the IM on their webpage about certain functions we needed in order to monitor communications. It was stated that it would do the things we needed. Once we paid for it, we found it didn't. We asked customer service and now we find it doesn't do what another customer service agent claimed. This was also stated in writing on their webpage.

We tried to get a refund, it had only been two weeks, but they said they would not return our money.

There are better programs/applications/software, and certainly better companies. Their customer service is incredibly poor. The people there don't seem to know or understand what they are doing, some seem to not understand what their product does or does not do.

Stay away from this company, and do not give them any money. If you have any problems, you will not get your money back, and the level of help, technical and otherwise is so weak that you will likely only be frustrated and dissatisfied.

Is a joke!

All they want is your money. Target phone or no Target phone it won't matter. It won't work. Even with iCloud username and password makes no difference and when I call customer service he actually said that I won't be able to see text or GPS location and the only way is if the Target phone is on the same WiFi network I'll be able to see text messages! What's the point than!

Total waste of money

A lot of promises nothing worked I'm better off using Bark than stupid Mspy! When I purchased mspy on 8/8/21 I was told that if I'm not satisfied with the product I have 10days to cancel for a full refund. After 9 days days I decided that I'm not paying for dashboard of nothing! Got in touch with customer service was assured that I will get a refund within 5days. After 10 days I checked my cc to see if refund was issued. Nothing! Got in touch with mspy again same thing. Was told to stay on top of billing department to make sure I get the refund then I get this message

Apparently on 8/11/21 they came up with a new refund policy that offers no refund whether it works or it doesn't! Stay away! Don't waste your money and time
