Buyer beware!

My bank flagged my order first off so I called to fix that and because I tried sending it through twice because I thought maybe it was just my internet service. Called my bank and said no I approve it I was charged twice called back let them no I approved 1 charge not both I was refunded the second accidental charge and then found out they suspended my account for the first charge so kept half my money and never got my full subscription Terrible customer service everything that has to do with billing is email.

Stops working

We spent countless hours trying to get this to work and with their tech people only to have it stop working constantly. The tech folks pretended to be apologetic and offered a "free" month only if we left a positive review. It was a complete waste of time and money.

Buyer beware

Before purchasing I spoke to an employee via live chat providing the make and model of my phone to asking I could monitor Snapchat. I was told it would only work if I purchased the family kit ($300 +). After purchasing I was told the software cannot monitor Snapchat and they refuse to provide a refund, despite me telling them numerous times before purchasing that the reason for my purchase was to monitor Snapchat

If I could give them negative stars I would!

This company had me pay for 3 month trial then turned around and auto renewed it for 12 months charging me 180 dollars right before Christmas then said I'm sorry the reasoning of you wanting a refund dosnt qualify have a good day! Then the subscription stopped working not even 24 hours later so basically gave them 260 dollars and got nothing but rude customers service thanks again mspy your a joke!

Very bad experience and product with mSpy!

They will promise you everything before the purchase, but afterwards it is a big disapointment. Some of the features not working as they promised, the GPS tracking is super slow and you get very bad tracking.
Features I was told they will be included, I found I need to pay extra money, and I paid for the family ultimate deal.
The instalation took over an hour, when they promised it will take less than 5 minutes.
Now that I want to cancel and get my money back, they are avoiding me.
Stay away from mSpy!

Trying mSpy has honestly been one of the worst customer experiences I have had in a long time. I wanted to be able to monitor SMS messages and Instagram on my daughter's iPhone 11. After having to install an app on her phone, Anytrans on my laptop, having to completely reset her phone and 3+ hours on chat with support, I still couldn't see SMS messages without physically plugging her phone into my computer. Was then told that only way I could monitor Instagram was if I jailbroke her phone. This product honestly doesn't work for current version of iOS. Then to top it all off, when I asked to cancel my subscription, billing customer service took 3-5 minutes between each chat string and went three different attempts to 'freeze' my account, give me three months for free instead of just cancelling my subscription. Please mSpy... I thought you were better than this.

***update for full transparency, after much back and forth I was given 75% refund***

It started out great when the target phone was android. I was using it as monitoring software for my teenager. The selling point was the key logging, text logging and most importantly remote access. Website says that it is compatible with any iPhone or android. I recently upgraded the target phone to an iPhone SE, which per the website is compatible.

As far as iPhone I was allowed to use only a fraction of the features. I contacted tech support who confirmed that none of my needed features are available for remote access meaning that I would need to get the phone and do a data dump every time. I politely explained that this is the opposite of the advertisement and since the software is no longer doing what it was supposed to I'd like a refund for the balance of my subscription. Their reply is that the limited software abilities are beyond their control and they cannot issue a refund. How is it beyond your control when you advertise all these features on "any iPhone, iPad or android"? They offered to freeze my account so I would still have the time on my subscription but that's not really useful as I don't intend on returning my family's brand new iPhones to get androids in the foreseeable future. I have saved the chat logs with tech support stating that the features do not work.

Bottom line if the target phone is android it works just okay. If you have an iPhone or I guess a newer iPhone (2nd gen SE is not that new) don't expect any of the advertised features. One star for terrible customer service and false advertising.

Total waste of $80 bucks!

I got the service a few days ago, I connected the target device, it connected. I gave it a few days for new text messages and things like that. It said there was new logs - NOTHING SHOWS! You DO NOT GET TEXT MESSAGES! IPhone 13 pro. ICloud backup on. Customer support said you see "calendar, events, notes, and email if they use the mail icon, and contacts" - I paid $80 bucks for info I ALREADY HAD! The demo shows MESSAGES! It shows full conversations!

It is COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING! NONE of that came through, no photos no media, no activity - just some old reminder for groceries! Seriously! I double checked the target device to make sure it was backing up and it is.

Customer support said they will "process a refund" but at this point I am just not convinced they will. They said they escalated it to billing and I would get an email. I have little faith in that.

If the refund is not done - please do it. This is junk. It's a bait and switch. Promising 1 thing and delivering next to nothing. It's sick.

I will report fraudulent charge/scam to the bank if it is not resolved very quickly. You can take a persons money VERY QUICKLY so I know you can give it back VERY QUICKLY!

Do not waste your money on this! It's way overpriced anyway but I thought it would work! I am a fool! On top of already feeling like a fool for needing something like this I feel even worse! You trick people!

SCAM

READ ALL FINE PRINT! This service is a SCAM! It requires you to JAILBREAK your phone and if you don't want to do that, it is pointless to pay for the service; you can literally monitor everything they offer if you USE ICLOUD alone. No need to pay $130. It doesn't monitor social media or text messages like they advertise. And when I contacted customer service about getting my money back for FALSE ADVERTISING, they said my reason was not valid.

I had spoken to several different agents and they pushed the a $300 service, I had asked several times if it will work and was told yes and I just come back and they will install the service. Well the service can't be installed on my phone. I requested refund immediately after finding out that I won't be able to use it and I received an email pretty much stating I should know the phone can't be jailbroken and therefore will not receive a refund.

I signed up for what i thought was a trial of the mSpy software. My impression of this were based on the multiple big green buttons on their website with the words "Try". I wanted to use the software to monitor iPhone messages. Once I signed up, I found out that the only way their software can do this is to either jailbreak the phone or use iPhone backups. Neither is a solution for me. I went to cancel my trial, having used the software for 30-60 minutes and found out that they do not have a trail. I paid for an entire year of the software and would not be refunded my money. Their customer service referred me to details in their terms of service agreement.

I wouldn't be more disappointed here. Putting multiple trial buttons on your homepage, only to have the fact that there is no trial buried in your terms of service is just not a good business practice.

If this company is manipulative on something as simple and basic as a software trial, who knows what else they are doing.

Scam Alert

I purchased this with hopes of finding my step son and they offered a promotion of 11.67 for starting today if you did the 12 month promotion and then139.99 the following month if you did not cancel prior to renewal. I contacted them immediately letting them know i needed a refund as It was an error paying for this when I seen they charged me the full $139.99 up front. They emailed me a receipt saying something totally different saying the discount went from 199.99 to 139.99. The customer service rep Alice was not pleasant and said she would send a refund request but that it may take 7 days. I explained i needed the funds back sooner because after further reading their services does not advertise as they stated. You have to put an app on the person your tracking in order for this to work. Either way Alice kept trying to offer more services than refunding me. When i said I was reporting this to the BBB she got rude and very smart with me. I want my refund.

You can only monitor an iPhone when you have PASSCODE, iCloud ID and PASSWORD with mSpy. Why we need mSpy when we have all of those credentials. It is a joke. Do not waste your money on this $#*!.

Mspy is a scam

It's unstable, support advised me to reinstall so many times and you know it's hard to get the target phone. Also even I followed all instructions some warnings kept showing. It was scary. I got a new active icon on top, it wasn't active before installing mspy. This icon can give this app away. Also you can never ever get a refund. Read the refund policy and will see no way to get a refund. It's a big big scam. I so much regret dealing with it.

I installed the mspy which was difficult and also could not hide the icon. We track discreetly and should have been possible. It only showed position and nothing more, complete waste of money and took me a whole day to install. Not worth it.

Don't waste your money or time... ripoff!

I purchased mSpy for monitoring my child's phone and realized after purchase it wasn't the solution for me. Within 2 hours I contacted the company attempting to get a refund explaining it was a mistake and asking for a refund as the software/solution wasn't what I was looking for. They have DENIED my request for a refund, even after a purchase of less than two hours! Customer service is horrible, with a response of, we can freeze your account, add three months for you, etc., but not one offer to do the RIGHT thing and just refund my $100+ dollar purchase. I am in the customer service business and would never treat someone like this. They obviously use bait and switch tactics to keep your money with a ridiculous return policy. I am going to be reporting them if I don't get my refund. My advice: STAY AWAY.
