3 weeks and no parts. Shipped from virgina, im in North carolina, I could have walked there by now. $400 dollars worth of parts... this is my first and last time dealing with this place
I've made multiple large orders from this company. My orders were split up into multiple different packages all shipping weeks apart. I was not notified of any delays or parts becoming unavailable. I called multiple times to resolve issues and still waited multiple weeks for my parts to arrive. I've ordered other parts from other motorsports website with no issues. I personally have not had a good experience with this company.
It always sucks when one of your favorite stores changes for the worse. Motorsport.com has gone downhill in 2020. I have used them for over eight years, and I really don't want to anymore. Their customer service has gone downhill quickly. They do not address my problems. It takes numerous attempts to resolve an issue. Their shipping has started taking way to long. They won't let me post reviews addressing their problems. I recommend Partzilla.com!
Been a customer for over 12 years when I started they were great. Now when there is an issue they blow you off! I ordered a pair Thor Fast Boyz pants and jersey on 16 May they shipped on 19 May UPS tracking shows on 23 May they left La Vergne TN on their way to USPS in Jacksonville AR 6 hours away. Today is 27 May and UPS still shows them leaving TN! USPS tracking says they are still waiting for it and UPS is not showing they gave them to USPS. Repeated attempts by phone, email and chat to get Motorsport to check with UPS to put a tracker on it has been useless every rep has said they are in transit 5 days to go 400 miles. UPS told me to contact the seller (Motosport) and they refuse to do anything! If on the 29th there is no new tracking updates I will be contacting my bank and do a charge back and tell Motosport the money is in transit!
Only shipped part of the order, then notified me of items that were on back-order.
Still waiting. Weeks later. Never again.
After I ordered 2 little kid size helmets im pretty sure they sent a guy to a factory half way across the world for the materials to build the helmet. Once he eventually sailed back across the Atlantic they put a team of sloths together to build the helmet, then put the helmet on a covered wagon with some mules pulling it to deliver. It still hasn't arrived at my home many weeks later so I am assuming the covered wagon team perished trying to cross the mountains in the snow. Very very awful delivery! Stay away!
The original review is below. After working more with MotoSport we resolved the issue. They actually got me in touch with Acerbis, the manufacturer, and a new tank was shipped out. It might have gotten off to a rough start but they came through.
Lesson learned - take photos to support your position. Talk to one another.
Original review:
"Like Eric from December I found out the hard way. I bought a tank for my 2013 Honda CRF250L which base on their website was supposed to fit. Nothing lined up. I sent it back but they won't honor the return because of a slight gas smell. Anyone who knows about the assembly process knows you pull the stock tank pump float assembly and install it on the new tank which will leave a gas smell although no gas has been in the tank. That would have been right before I found out the tank was off dimensionally and wouldn't fit."
Motosport will not back up there product and will not take products back!
Bought silent exhaust for a stock polaris rzr800, put exhaust on and did not make any quieter, motosport.com will not return because exhaust has went through exhaust, How am I to know if it works unless we put exhaust through it. motosport.com is terrible customer service and would recommend people go somewhere else
ORDERED 2 TIRES FOR ATV. ONE WAS THE WRONG SIZE, NOT EVEN CLOSE. NONE OF THE NUMBERS MATCHED ANYWHERE, CALLED AND TOLD ME I HAD TO SEND BOTH TIRES BACK JUST COULDN'T SEND THE 1 BACK AND HAVE THEM SEND ME THE CORRECT ONE. SO I DID AND VOICED MY DISPLEASURE WITH THERE INCOMPETENCY. TOLD THEM I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. THEN WHEN IT CAME TIME TO CREDIT ME THEY ONLY CREDITED ME FOR 1 TIRE. STILL DEALING WITH THE BS. YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
I recently tried to purchase $600 worth of parts. The site reported for 4 days that the company was processing my order. This evening I received an email stating that the entire order was canceled and no reason was provided. Do not use Motosport!
Ordered over $800 in parts, It has been now 2 weeks and no sign of shipping. Motosport customer service don't care to make sure things are right and don't care if you cancel your order. Cancel all orders and use Rocky Mountain, they have never let me down.
I ordered over $600 worth of bike parts and 90% of them were out of stock. The 2 day free shipping is worthless if items aren't in stock. Bought a tire combo set and front tire is 2 years old and rear is almost 4 years old. I'm waiting for a new fresher set or will be sending these back! Prices are great if you want to wait weeks to get your product.
I have ordered many parts in the last 2 weeks. All of which came before they were supposed to arrive. One part being a rear dirtbike tire. Come to find out, I ordered the wrong size, so I reordered another one on a Monday, and received it on Thursday. I want to thank James Mulick for his wonderful and most helpful customer service. If anyone with a higher position at Motosport reads this, you should thank James for being a great employee in his Customer service work. Most satisfied with Motorsport and Mr. Mulick. 11/10!
Very good prices also.:)
However, I'm no longer using this company, Yes, open 7 days, but too far away. SHIPPING AND communication issues (like sending me a blank email instead of containing the shipping label. Incorrectly informing me of full refund when actual refund removed a prior $15.00 cash back without telling me. And ICON sz13 boots return lost in Greensboro, NC! I've ordered 9 items from them in the past year, and had to return 3 of them: due to sizing issues.) They are friendly and agreeable regarding returns, but sometimes not so good on the details. Actual performance falls a bit short.
Ordered an oem honda carburetor for my honda crf100 and i noticed right away it WAS NOT a honda carburetor it was a fake Chinese brand ive never heard of so they scammed me for one amd 2 it doesnt work at all right out of the box dont EVER buy From these con artists becsuse thell be selling you a fake part
Was about to leave for a trip so we paid extra for 3 day express shipping, it's now been almost a week and when we called they were completely rude and did absolutely nothing to solve the problem, in fact they even said they hadn't ever had the part on the shelf so they wouldn't have even been able to provide it in 3 days-- FALSE ADVERTISING and what a pathetic excuse for customer service. Absolutely will tell ALL OF MY FRIENDS NOT TO SHOP HERE-- obviously this company doesn't understand the power of customer service and the word of mouth. Good luck.
Not a bad place. Good prices and good selection if actually stocked. Ordered several time with no issues so problems might be a new thing with them carrying less inventory or just a string of bad luck. But on the last few I've waited for my order only to find out they were "waiting for inventory". Upon inquiry on the last order I was told the item was not stocked and it was marked as such. It was not listed as such when I ordered. Not a big hurry so i waited and inquired again a week later and asked that they give me an update or cancel the order. No response but it shipped a couple days later. Just allow a few weeks for delivery and if you need it quick order elsewhere. Last order placed on the 6th and it shipped on the 18th.
I ordered a "Knobby Tire Wristband" as a birthday gift. He had owned one previously, and had it for five years, but lost it a few months back. I was only trying to replace that one. I ordered it in red and it's arrival was quick. I gave it to him the very next day. I watched him put it on at approximately 9 p.m., then we went and saw a movie. After arriving home at around 2 a.m., he attempted to remove the bracelet, thinking he was taking care of it and it broke! It absolutely was not his fault. He didn't abuse it, he was simply taking it off. I am extremely disappointed, and would not recommend it to anyone. What a waste of money.
What a joke. I got a helmet for Christmas. It was one I thought I wanted. I put it on and went for a ride... to find out its not what I was looking for. I went to return it and got the run around and eventually ended up at, its "used" and cannot be returned. Apparently there's some magic that occurs when you sit on a motorcycle versus sitting in your living room that automatically taints the item. These clowns aren't interested in customer service at all. They wouldn't help out with store credit or anything. Worst motorcycle buying experience ever.
Stick with Cyclegear or Revzilla...
motosport.com is my goto place when i need parts i can count on
Answer: Fairly easy but don't expect any actual service. The customer's always wrong in their eyes, as far as I can tell.
Answer: Depends on your point of view. They exist, and send out product, but do not use them if you want your parts within a month - seriously ghetto shipping, and garbage customer service.
Answer: They suck. Avoid at all costs. The too-good-to-be-true prices are not worth the wait for your items, and/or the customer-is-always-wrong brand of service.
