$10,000 Back Burner

I placed, paid and expected my order in a timely manner. What I got, was voicemail after voicemail after voicemail concerning when to expect delivery. Press 1 for Sales... that call was picked up, Sales are not their problem. Anything else, "leave a message" or "email me". The salesman quoted 2 to 3 weeks, it's been going on 5 weeks. I left half a dozen voice mails and half a dozen emails. Crickets till the 5th week. I was told my Golf Cart was just waiting to be shipped, ready to go! They have apparently, several "contracts" with carrier/delivery companies, but so far, none want to deliver to Utah. Why is this my fault? If you cannot deliver your product, STOP taking sales until you get caught up, or bring the unit! By the time I get this expensive little cart, it'll be Winter again. They suggested I have it shipped LTL, but won't guarantee it's undamaged condition, and they won't pay for the cart if it does become damaged by an outside delivery service, and on top of that, I have to go into the terminal 45 miles away with my own way to get this large Golf Cart home... WHY? They sold a $10,000 toy and can't deliver. I'm on the BACK BURNER! They state they will not refund order because of shipping issues. Seems they know they have shipping issues but continue to take order from out of their state of Texas. Bad Bad customer service.

Bought a new as a Christmas present for my nephew mud dec 2021, it arrived with a defective transmission. Tried to get help for months and had to open a dispute to get any progress. I give them 2 months to do somthing before opening the dispute. Then they only cared to pressure me to close the case instead of helping. So if you want to waste your money, get junk, no service or support and be hung out to dry and be super angry and waste tons of time and still have a defective atv 5 1/2 months later this is your place. If you like flushing your money down the toilet.

Bad business I can't even get a hold of someone they're just my ignoring my calls and emails I found out some issues with my purchase I'm on a warranty I just wanna know if the manufacturer will replace it or not! I wouldn't recommend this dealership! SMH

I called about a UTV/Golf Cart: https://motobuys.com/collections/utvs-side-by-sides/products/trailmaster-taurus200gx I spoke with Bob (salesman) on 25Apr, after our conversation and pricing (7366. 00) he said he would send me an invoice via email so I could run it by my husband. Well, I left two messages on 26Apr --crickets. This morning I called (27Apr) and I get answering machine. I believe if you have to work too hard at wanting something, especially at this price... it's God's way of saying it's not meant to be. I'm very thankful for real ppl that take the time to leave real reviews... that's exactly why I'm leaving mine too. Thank God, I didn't spend 7366. 00 on this company. Glad for the ppl w/ good reviews, customer service, and product; however, I AM NOT gambling my 7366. 00. I will pay more, but sometimes you get what you pay for. Blessings, OKC

After numerous calls and serval months, MotoBuys has failed to deliver all my parts on a brand new 400 UTV. Something so simple as floor mats. Its disappointing when you spend that much money for something and they ignore their mistakes. It's right there in plain English ( reviews) which I chose to ignore Bad service after they get your money!

Hurricane mini bike
April 12, 2022

Purchased the mini bike and it arrived. After opening the bike in the crate, i found that the front wheel was not in the crate. So i contacted Motobuys to let them know that the front wheel was missing. I got no response from them. I contacted them 2 more times and eventually got a call. Saying they need photos of the packaging. I had already disposed of the packaging. Item looked good but no wheel so it sits in my garage. As i have no wheel and can not use. I would be very cautious buying from them as there after sale service is very bad. Looks like i will have to purchase a front wheel else where. If i want to use this bike.

Ordered a TM-29 on the 6th, it arrived on the 10th. No damage and no scratches. 1st one I have seen shipped with neoprene zip tied around the bike in places that might have rubbed. Nice touch. Now for some information on the bike.

Same 125cc lifan based 4 up engine as all the other. Shouldn't have any issues out of the motor. The wheels have alloy centers that was an expected bonus. The front forks have bleed vents, something I wish my other 4 china pit bikes had.
Brakes are the same as every other bike so replacement parts will be easy to find. Rear shock is a lot better quality than my Apollo db-19. The rear tire came with a bead lock already installed

In case you didn't know, the EPA won't let these bike in the country without passing emissions. So they all come with a carb that's not adjustable. Some people get lucky and the stock carb works well at there altitude. Most don't. The carbs are set very lean and this could hurt your engine. Order a Nibbi pe26fl on Amazon, they run about $70. The stock jetting in the Nibbi should be close enough to right to make most people happy. And don't forget to change the shipping oil before you start it!

This is my 1st experience with the Trailmaster brand. This bike rides excellent. It's stable and smooth. Night and day better than the Apollo.

Motobuys processed and shipped the bike very quickly! Very happy customer.

They answer the phone!

Customer service is important, these guys get it. They took the time to verify that my atv choice was indeed CA legal, it was. After verification they shipped the atv out immediately. Love the decals for the "red" color choice by the way. They look great! Thanks guys, would definitely recommend!

I purchased a Trailmaster Ultra Blazer 200 EX EFI Go Kart for my son as a Christmas present. I spend $4,299.00 which included delivery and the unit to be 95% assembled.

When the unit arrived on 12/10/2021 it was severely damaged. The unit had huge gouges, scratches, even the metal gas tank on top of the motor was smashed in, the front grill was busted, tire had some marks on it and who knows what engine and body was done to the unit. I refused the unit since I ordered a new one not one in damaged.

When the unit was returned to Motobuys they wrote me an email telling me that their mechanic looked at the unit and only the gas tank and grill was damaged and it could have easily been fixed and that there was NO scratches or scrapes on the unit. I tried calling Motobuys several times and they would not take my call. I had to my sons phone to call them (since it appeared they blocked my number) for them to return my call. When I spoke with * in sales he first told me there was nothing wrong with my unit and it was just the gas tank and grill and I could have fixed it. I asked * from sales about the gouges (Which * at Motobuys wrote in an email that there were none) and * said "we could have sent you some paint to touch it up" In addition, Motobuys charged me $561.00 to return the damaged unit.

Would you let your child drive this when something very heavy smashed it? If the gas tank is this damaged, what could be going on with the motor? Check out the axel where the wheel is - I'm pretty sure the weight of the unit is not suppose to balance on it?
I am now working with the BBB and Attorney General in Texas to get my money refunded.

Called to simply find out about shipping since the information listed is so vague. Not only is the shipping information vague but they don't explain what you get for the extra $69 "expedited handling". We were ready to buy 4 of these today and of course with Christmas around the corner (like so many) we were curious as to how fast we could get the mini jeeps. Called customer service. The guy who answered the phone started with "Hello". Thought I called the wrong number. He was abrupt and continued to talk over me, ultimately telling me to go ahead and empty my cart. You are welcome to visit their Web page. Only information you will find about shipping simply states that after you make a purchase you'll get a tracking number once the unit has shipped. This guy could have simply explained how long it's taking for the units to get out or what you get when spending the extra $69 for exhibited handling. Instead he was argumentative and impossible to deal with. I asked him if he was at all concerned about bad reviews. He just laughed! Again told me to go ahead and empty my cart! I hung up and he proceeded to call back from a restricted number several times to harass me. There are a lot of companies out there selling these mini jeeps. Buyers beware of doing any business with this company. My experience with him on the phone suggested a guy without any business class working out of his garage rather than a professional working for a large company. Very disconcerning they would allow such behavior.

Great bike and customer service!

This Company is awesome. I received my bike within two weeks, and received my Certificate of title a few days after. My bike had some minor damage from shipping. Being that it came from China, I could see how it happened. A fender was damaged, and a brake pad was missing. Motobuy's sent me replacements within a week. They treated me very well. When I called, they actually answered the phone. Emails were answered within 24 hours. I ordered a Honda 70 clone, and I am impressed. I would definitely order from them again.

Just Junk

I purchase a Trailmaster Sorrento 150 cc Scooter this summer. It now has a total of 5 miles on it. It won't run and makes crazy squealing sounds when the wheels are turning.
It's junk. They have told me to remove and clean the carb to fix the loss of electronics. Have not made it to the second issue yet.
Unless someone can advise me otherwise, I believe my only option is to. Throw this thing in the dumpster.

No problems at all. Got the color I wanted, fast shipping( better than (A). The r and l driver was great (Pate). I seldom write reviews because the boss only looks at be bad. But you see the potential buyers look at them all. Keep it up Texas!

RUN AWAY!

I was a return customer looking for parts to be sent to me that were missing in my order and you guys couldn't even return my emails. I sent 3 emails to * including the pictures requested of the missing parts. Then over the past 3 weeks sent 3 more emails with the last one threatening to start a dispute with American Express if I didn't receive my training wheel that was missing. Pathetic was of doing business

I purchased a mb200 Trailmaster it arrived in one week like they said the pull top cover was damaged in shipping so I called motobuys they shipped it right out to me the part that I needed and was very polite and fast I would recommend buying from them they were $200 cheaper than everyone else and made good on the part that was damaged in shipping

I ordered a Trailmaster XRX Mid go kart for my kids a few months ago and the thing still doesn't run for longer for 5 minutes without stalling. The go kart was delivered in a smashed up box and when I opened it, the box was full of rocks, broken glass and two screw drivers! There was significant paint damage to the left rear corner of the go kart, as it had been dropped and dragged, apparently during shipping and when I called on it, they actually sent me a can of red paint to fix it myself! Then when I assembled it and started it up, it ran choked out for a few minutes then stalled out... when I called to notify them that it doesn't work, they actually sent me a you tube video of how to work on a carburetor! What a joke, what horrible service and I still have no answers and my kid can't dive his go kart without it stalling after 3 minutes. Plus the electric start no longer works, this thing has not been driven 1 mile. Now I am looking for a service company that can work on my brand new go kart because I don't want someone to send me a you tube video on how to fix their brand new piece of junk.

I would not ever buy anything from this store, they will ship you busted up broken go karts that literally dont work and then say you are on your own when you call them after dropping a couple grand. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!.

Good customer service

I purchased a Trailmaster 200 in April. When it arrived it had slight shipping damage. Items got replaced in a week. Starter went out and they replaced in a week. They also followed up with a phone call to see if I had it switched and had any further issues.

So my "Trike" will be shipped tomorrow and that of course will be another review. This review is about the fantastic customer service leading up to shipment. Ive used two other popular online scooter outlets and both were aloof and a little shifty. Not motobuys.com. Ive called a number of times regarding my order and connected with live customer service agents. I can not tell you how happy i am with this company from a Customers perspective. Keep up the good work!
