I first bought from a China distributor with a USA office, but they did not answer phone calls after first contact. No help via emails.
Bought through Monoprice and received assistance within 24 hours. When a part did not function correctly, they offered to replace it. I did not have to make any demands, they were happy to provide a prepaid label for the return via FEDEX.

I love that Monoprice has a lifetime guarantee with their cables. I have had to use it. I recommend calling or using the chat to get customer service as the email option takes longer. They promptly replaced my cable.

I had an issue with a sit-stand desk and their representative did fabulous job of making the situation right again. There was a cosmetic defect and the representative gave a slight discount on the sale price which makes me happy and was plenty fair as far as I am concerned.

I've been buying from monoprice instead of big box electronic stores over the past few years due mainly to the ability to talk to someone who can give me a good answer and alternatives. I can alwasy speak with someone who not only points me in the right direction, but educates me during the process. On two occasions I've had a product be faulty or missing from an order. Both times they've made it right with speed.

They sent me the printer but it was broken and they sent me it back still broken until finally replacing the unit. The employees are great and I feel bad that they have to work for a company with such ridiculous policy's. I had to ship in the printer to get a screw replaced instead of just getting a replacement screw. The printer is okay when it works and gets the job done really good for the price.

As I wrote in my first review, I had low expectations and bought the cheapest bread machine I could find. I was surprised to find that the Strata machine sold by Monoprice has a vertically oriented loaf pan. All the others I have seen are horizontally oriented. I am not a baker, but I am an engineer. I know that kneading bread dough requires force to compress the dough ball. Gravity is available; why not use it? A vertical machine has the entire weight of the dough resisting the paddle, as well as the nearby vertical walls of the pan to squeeze against. The proof is in the bread. My whole grain loaf was well textured. I also made yogurt with the Strata. It has a fermentation cycle that does the temperature control. Good yogurt!

I bought a bread machine from Monoprice, frankly because the price was the least I could find. Why would I buy the cheapest machine? Because none I see on the web is satisfactory. They all are limited to at most a small, 2lb loaf, and they are all light-duty machines. The dough paddles are small and thin. Some brands supply an extra paddle. What does that tell you? All this in mind, I decided that they differ mostly in eye appeal, gimmicks, and price. A heavy duty, durable bread machine, such as the old Black & Decker B1600 that made up to a 2.5lb loaf is no longer to be found. I am still evaluating the machine I bought, but I have confidence in Monoprice's return policy.
I've been purchasing cables on Monoprice for quite some time (over 8 years) and they have always come out on top as prime products, and when, for some reason, the items have gone bad, Monoprice has honored their lifetime-guarantee and sent me a replacement ASAP, top-notch customer service. I would buy again anytime.

I purchased some merchandise last evening in error. They were closed by the time the order went through, so I could not cancel. I contact customer support the moment I get up in the morning asking them to cancel the order. This is less than 7 hours later and they refused to cancel my order. I asked for my ticket to be escalated to a manager but 8 hours later they ship the merchandise. You're telling me that nobody could be bothered to call someone in their warehouse to cancel an order over 8 hours?
This is why I have trust issues with companies I've never used.

I've been purchasing from Monoprice for many years and this is usually my first choice when looking for a generic component (cable, connector, adapter etc). They offer reasonable prices for the quality I usually did not have any problems with. There are cheaper places out there but you do not always know if you are getting the value or not. Of course, there are better merchants out there - Amazon and others, but I still rate Monoprice high for their category. Plus, the fact that they ship to Canada and do it without tripling the product cost is very important to me.
Monoprice is good, could improve on RMA and communication. First of all, they ship quickly and have good products. I have not returned anything in years, so I was surprised when it took a phone call for an RMA (although I had sent in online requests via webpage and email). Rep was good, and took care of me.
I will still definitely order from them, just realize you need to call for an RMA if you need to return... Ciao... Curt

Purchased many items from monoprice. Like in all manufacturing some will not perform as expected. The few times I called to get help they easily replaced the defective item. No hassles, no issues, they easily replaced the item. Very pleased will definitely buy from them again

My first 3d printer from a large recommended manufacturer was just a hassle. And the tech support was nowhere to be found (and that was after searching long and hard to find a tech support phone number that in order to get that, you had to register, but the registration website did not work)... needless to say... that 3d printer was returned but before I bought a new one, I tried calling tech support of multiple 3d printer companies. Monoprice was a clear winner. Not only did they have a published support phone number, but they actually answered the phone within 2-3 minutes, the sound/clarity was superb (no cheap digital background call center noise), and the tech support spoke English clearly. I didn't even have a Monoprice 3d printer yet, but I knew their tech support was available, clear, and courteous. I ordered a 3D printer and a few days later it came in mail. I had it set up and was printing within an hour. Over the next month, my son and I printed multiple items from gifts, to lego parts, to phone car holders, to even replacing a catapult for my vintage Crossbows and Catapults game. Print after print, we had ease and success. At one point, I could not figure out how a feature worked, and I called tech support and was given an answer within 10 minutes. There are few companies these days where product and customer service both rank high in my opinion. Monoprice is one of those. I'm happy to recommend them and looking forward to doing business in the future.

Answer: Hahaha! In my case, they just dumped my package at a neighbor's. Unfortunately, that property is vacant so I did not receive my shipment until almost two weeks later after the neighbor came to check on the property and found it.
