WORST SERVICE EVER!
September 12, 2023

The front line folk are usually superficially friendly but untrained and basically reading from corporate prompts. It literally takes a house fire to get to a supervisor. Out of more than 3 dozen calls, i was only actually contacted 3 times... and every supervisor i spoke to LIED repeatedly. I would drive my car through their store window in appreciation of their 'service' if they weren't too criminal of an organization to run an actual location.
They deserve NEGATIVE stars but one seems to be the minimum

Worst phone service ever!
September 11, 2023

Not only service is horrible in areas where it's supposed to be great and there are not issues with connectivity but the customer support is even worse!

Mint Mobile SUCKS!
September 10, 2023

I have had nothing but problems with Mint Mobile and the phone I purchased from Mint.
No phone / WIFI service - have had to call the Help Desk every week since I received the service/phone.
The Help Desk is of no help - just the same baloney, but no one can fix.
I HATE MINT MOBILE & WISH I NEVER PURCHASED IT.

Terrible customer service
September 8, 2023

I signed up for 3 months of service intending to use the iPhone that I already had. When I tried to activate it I found out it was locked to ATT. I made many calls to ATT, Mint and the company I bought the phone from. I had purchased the refurbished phone outright, so I thought there would be no problem but unfortunately there was and I could not get it unlocked. Eventually I purchased another phone and activated it on Mint (this was no quick and easy process either and it took many phone calls to Mint to get my number moved from ATT and then to get it to work). Every time I called I had to explain everything all over again and most times I was told to repeat the steps that the last tech asked me to try. But the thing that really galls me is that I had the service for 2 months and never used it because I had no phone that would work and when I asked for some credit because I paid for more than 2 months that I didn't use they said they had no ability to do that, I asked to speak to someone in billing and was given the answer that it wouldn't matter if I talked to billing, that they couldn't do anything. Asked to speak to a manager, was told the same thing, pretty much refused to transfer me to anyone else that could help me. I got the impression that there really isn't a management structure at all and the techs operate on their own little islands and have no authority to do anything useful for a dissatisfied customer.

I wish I could say it was a great experience, but I cannot! I changed to Mint Mobil just shy of 2 mos ago, and I have had more issues than not. The phone not working - people saying they can't call me and often I cannot call out, dropped calls while ringing or midcoversation, times when it says the SIM card isn't working or I can only make emergency calls. I and my son have spent hours (about 8 over the last 7+ weeks on the phone or on their CHAT trying to resolve the issue, all to no avail. The agents seem nice enough but I am left wondering if they know what they are talking about. I was told the issue is that the phone is not fully unlocked, Verizon says it is, I was told there were tower issues hence no service or dropped calls (but others in my home are not having an issue and they are using the same tower), they told my son to call Samsung to have the VPN disabled, we found out though Verizon that the VPN was not even on), and Samsung when we call would not even approach the issue they said to call the carrier (the new, old or both). I just changed to another carrier during my mid-3 month $45 service with Mint. The new carrier had no issues setting me up, and I have been able to make calls without issue since the change, I even have move bars with the new carrier (again the same and only tower in the area) than I ever had with Mint (not sure why). My only issue is the new carrier had to give me a temporary number to use for a few days until they could get my old number back. They gave me the temporary number because I am disabled and I cannot be without a phone. This was kind of them and helpful. The experience date reflects the date of changing carriers and not all the dates of asking for help and working with Mint to resolve the issues with the phone not working correctly.

Terrible customer service
September 5, 2023

Was told to shut up and if I wanted to speak to a supervisor or manager he would just hang up on me. I'd rather pay more for good customer service, so that ended fast and I'm back to xfinity. I wish there were minus stars, because on star is to high.

I just got the eSIM card. It got deleted off my phone and never activate the service and then they said they're a refund me which is going on four days and to keep up making up story saying all it's processed and it's processing. This company has a policy where it has the 7-day refund. So if my refund is not processed I'm suing them for false advertisement. And I'm also contacting my bank. This company is open to many of lawsuits cuz I can see all the reviews. So hopefully all the customers know that they have a case that they can sue this company for more money than what this company is trying to rip off customers. Mint Mobile has up until 3 days and then the lawsuit and the paperwork will be filed.

Mint Mobile works until it doesn't and when it doesn't it'll cost you $big $bucks

Mint Mobile works until it doesn't. When it doesn't, you could be out $hundreds of dollars. The game Mint plays is that you can have their advertised clickbait pricing ONLY if you pay upfront for one full year. If you are 8 days or more into your plan and Mint doesn't work for you, they will take all remaining funds in your account and deposit it into their bank account. No refunds, ever. And, unfortunately, there are now far better plans out there than Mints. Don't get sucked in.

Rip-off
August 30, 2023

The second you place your order, the clock is ticking. Your SIM card may arrive 3 to 5 days later, leaving 4 to 2 days left in the money-back trial of 7 days. The coverage was not "excellent" as advertised. We cancelled just past the trial period, and that took an hour and transfer to a supervisor. Kiss $106.00 good bye for 10 days of useless service.

Mint Mobile is Hell
August 28, 2023

Ryan Reynolds has always been a douchebag. I should've known better than to give his company a chance. It was by far the worst customer experience I've ever had.

The inept support team broke their promises over and over. They would tell me to wait for a new eSIM for 24 hours, until the end of the day or for 2-4 hours, only for it never to appear. When I finally got one that worked, it was only because I asked the agent about something else at the end of the chat, prompting him to notice he'd sent my request to the wrong office. I spoke with the help desk no fewer than eight times, costing me at least a dozen hours.

Their engineering teem is as incompetent as their support. In the end, after they finally sent me a valid eSIM, my phone worked on the network for a mere three days before mysteriously falling back to "SOS only" mode again, irrecoverably.

I could not afford to be without a phone any longer, and I wasn't willing to go through the absurd nightmare of trying to get mobile service from Mint yet again. I signed up with a local carrier and am waiting for a refund now. I'm assuming they'll fail to issue one, and I'll need to work with my credit card company to issue a chargeback.

Price is great; service is good, but the 10 number group text limitation is to me a terminal cancer in an otherwise very healthy entity. I scanned their entire T&C (terms & conditions) and this reality is NOT included. In a conversation I had today with a manager, I was told that as a prepaid plan, that is how it has always been and likely will always be. Wow!

Zero Stars - NIGHTMARE
August 23, 2023

Almost lost # I had had for 17 years by attempting to switch to them.IMPOSSIBLE Customer Service. Avoid at all costs. It was an absolute nightmare to try to speak to them. I spent about 3-4 hours trying to deal with this and ended up switching back to my previous carrier because this was just so ridiculous.

Be prepared for down time, trying to get your sims card they have to send it to you since they don't have hardly any stores available plus if your planning to keep your same number if you switch with them they will have to send you the sims card and they said it will gel 3-5 days if your lucky. I been out of a phone for 3 days now. And they say that I have to wait.

Completed online refund request. After a week waiting for email confirmation, had to call customer service # and then they tried to sell me a medical alert device, took forever to get thru to find out refund status. Then no refund, called them after 30 minute follow up call, sorry glitch in our system when you processed refund request, we will call you back with an update, bye! This is a super shady company, stayed with Boost Mobile. Reported MM to BBB.

We ordered mint mobile, because we were in a pinch, and it was inexpensive. It was a problem from the start. They charged us $55, which was supposed to be $45. Ok so no big deal, but we were unable to activate the service, after calling customer service several times. We were told our money would be refunded with if 7 days. Our money has not been refunded, and we have called now 4 times, them telling us we're getting refunded each time. Now this time calling, we asked to speak to a supervisor, after the customer service representative continued to tell us our money would be refunded. I have now been on hold for more than half an hour waiting, all we wanted was to be refunded on our money, for a service that did not work. After being told, by Ashley that we would receive a call back. We still have not. Pretty much fraud and stealing money from people.

I have spent 24 hours switching to Mint Mobile and now I have to switch back to Tmobile as I can't make calls, receive calls, receive text messages nor send text messages. This business should NOT be allowed to conduct business in any country ever.
