I highly advise AVOID MiniInTheBox and LightInTheBox, they are scam. Ordered an item to Denmark with Express delivery (12 eur - more than the item costs), it stated 4-8 days and 24 hours processing, 4 days passed and I get the message from FedEx (express option) that I will get an item in 16 days, double the time I PAID for. Opened a ticket to discuss this with seller, all i got in return is automated response and resolved status on a ticket. SCAM! What is worse now it shows that delivery is 4-5 days with 80% of price what I paid for the delivery. Do not trust them, they are frauds. I highly suggest not to waste your time and money, order from somewhere else.

Horrible customer support as they closes the issue automatically and to raise new ticket need to furnish the ordered goods snapshot each and every time. None of the chosen products available as show caused on their portal. No refund given and customer never contacted on the delay or in convenience. Never prefer them to buy any thing again.

A lousy company

A lousy company. Do not buy there, and if you do, do not pay in advance.

I bought some electronics for 61.50 euro, expedite shipping(3-8 days) and paid with card over the internet.
A month later, the package arrives and I'm told I can take it only if I pay 105 euro more for custom taxes. Being that the package is valued in 40 euro(25 for shipping), I refuse.

When I requested a refund, Miniinthebox tells me it is my problem and they did everything to perfection(mind you, shipping time, customer service, etc).

And after checking, you choose not to pay VAT duty insurance once you checkout, the duty fee was fully noted on checkout page and we are unable to cover duty fee if it is occurred to the package with out duty insurance.

We provide Duty & Tax Insurance service for any purchase and can be checked when placing an order.

If you pay for the Duty & Tax Insurance when you placed an order and were charged a tax fee when the package arrived, we'll be glad to refund 100% tax fee. Hi my issue was resolved shortly after I posted my review so I would like to say that although the delivery is to say the least is terrible and the customer service via their ticket system erratic and evasive. Flora who handled my complaint on site jabber has been amazing and the service received from her first class. So to be fair you will eventually get your product or a refund so the risk to shopping on mini in the box is limited to wasting time with tickets and long delivery times which is frustrating but not a scam.
I cannot change my rating as I believe that the shopper in good faith pays for a product and a service and such should recieve what is promised. A challenge to mini in the box
Promise realistic delivery times and offer either - an immediate full refund or a substantial no strings attached discount on the next purchase if delivery dates are not met.

Shocking customer service

I have had similar experience to some of the reviews above. Placed an order 19th dec express 3-4 day delivery and am still waiting. I have submitted a million tickets. The response more often than not completely ignores what I have asked. They refuse to refund so I am not sure what the shipping insurance is for and the item untraceable on the site. In my experience the site is hit and miss. Sometimes the delivery is fast but when its bad its really bad and the support that you get is horrible, rude and evasive. So my biggest problem with Mini in the Box is their customer service

I think I Got Scammed

I get that delivery from China will be slow. But when they say they'll send it with tracking, they don't tell you that it's not INTERNATIONAL tracking. So, you can track your package right to the Chinese distribution center, then once it leaves the country? Her I am, 2 months later... A review of my order also indicates that they've changed the shipping method from "Postal-tracking (11-14 days)" to "Postal-tracking (3-4 days)"... This is 54 days after the order, mind you. Most credit-card companies require a transaction dispute to be filed within 30 days of it appearing on an credit card statement. So, I think there's a strategy in place to make potential customers wait more than 60 days for their item. After that point, there's nothing you can do about it. I doubt I'll ever see the item.

Their customer services have been great. Although there were a few problems and difficulty with the delivery services during this moment, but their people have been very responsible and helpful. They have also taken care of the matter quickly.
I am glad that they offer solution as soon as possible. No business is perfect anyways. I would rate 5 stars for the staff's efficiency, responsibility, and kindness.

Goods not received

I placed a order in November 2017 and still have not received it. I have requested a refund and have just been told the package is on its way. Firstly it was 30 to 40 day delivery then it became 60 day delivery. Now they just say it on it's way and I am not getting a refund

The store informed of shipment on January 11,2018 and promised delivery in 18 business days. Today is February 12, item not delivered. An attempt to inquire triggered a note from them that delivery takes 38 days.

They do not deliver

I placed an order and paid for insurance with MiniInTheBox on Nov. 1,2017. It is now Feb. 2,2018 and I have never received the order. I have reported the problem, they have opened three different tickets and then closed them without resolving the problem and will not return my money. I personally feel they are a scam. Every time I contact them, they send the same canned response, open a "ticket", but do nothing to find the package or refund my money. After 90 days it is obvious the package is not coming, but they refuse to refund my money.

BIGGEST SCAM EVER!

I ordered my product in November for a christmas present. I have emailed several amounts of tickets and then they keep extending the amount of time. You get emails from people who dont speak english and just copy and past the same damn things. It was 20-30 days. Then 40 days. And then 60 days. I asked for a refund and they told me that it would take up to 3 months because they need to get the product back.

This company should be black listed and never be able to sell. They take your money and never return. I suggest to everyone else to also file with your bank fraudulent charges as that is what i am now doing.

You may never receive the product you purchased. When submitting a resolution ticket, they keep extending the amount of time. At first the reply was "it can take 20-30 days." When that did not happen, I was assured it would arrive "no later than 40 days" and given an exact date. After 40 days, they are now saying, "so you still have great possibilities to receive it within 60 days."

This company appears to be a scam, and they appear to keep extending the delivery date until you either give up or forget. They will not refund your purchase price.

INFURIATING!

STILL WAITING FOR SOME OF MY ORDERS! It's such a sad thing to have to look your grandson in the eyes and tell him that you're STILL WAITING for his Christmas present to be delivered! They email a supposed link to some tracking info, but when you attempt it, it just gives you a page that says there is NO INFO FROM THAT SELLER! And so I wait, but Christmas has passed. And my grandson looks at me like he was only an "AFTER THOUGHT". I wish these "fly by night" businesses had to endure the pain they thoughtlessly inflict on others!

If I could rate this a big fat zero, I would. I wished I had checked out reviews before ordering anything from this site. Worst experience ever! I ordered an item on Dec. 9th. It shipped on Dec. 10th. I paid 11 for it to be shipped expedited express so I would receive it in time for Xmas. This should have taken 7 days max to arrive at my door according to the information on the site. I should have received it on Dec. 18th at the very latest. I called FedEx today to see what the problem is. They told me that the company did not ship my item expedited express, eventhough I paid for that service and that I won't receive my item til after Xmas. What's happened to my 11? I sent a message to the company explaining the situation and was told that I will receive the item within 10 days. That is not much good to me when I needed it for a Xmas gift. They never replied to why they didn't send my item expedited express. I sent another message asking why not and have received no reply. I doubt I will get a reply or my money back. I will never use this site again and would recommend everyone to stay as far away as possible. Awful company, awful customer service, awful experience!

Ho acquistato diversi articoli su questo sito, i prezzi sono ottimi, la qualità discreta, bisogna saper scegliere bene in mezzo all'enorme quantità di oggetti. I pacchi arrivano dopo circa un mese e, specie se sono piccoli, solitamente non vengono bloccati alla dogana. I venditori sono sempre stati disponibili alla risoluzione dei problemi verificatisi.

I bought a phone case for my iPhone 8 on 27/9,2017 and when checked out they said the delivery time will be between 10-20 days. But until today in November 10, I still didn't get my case delivered. I wrote letter a few times to their customer service and what they said to me was wait wait and wait. Today they told me that I have to wait for another 60 days and they will not help me with anything until then. Please don't buy anything there unless you want to have a bad shopping experience.
