Took 16 out of my bank account for unlimited pass. Pass doesn't work and still says I have to renew it. And I get zero response from any emails and reports I've sent. This is leterally stealing
I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro laptop just over 2years ago, don't use it every day, paid $2k for it, it stopped working and Microsoft don't want to no about it! I would expect a bit more than 2 years!

Called them today and the guy said the techincal support system is down for one week. But sales are open. So you guys can sell but can't support? Very disappointing. Wished I went with apple. I SPENT 6 HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH A LEVEL 1 TECH ON THURSDAY MORNING LAST WEEK (17TH OF SEPTEMBER). COULDNT FIX MY PROBLEM.
I SPENT 6 HOURS ON THE PHONE ON FRIDAY MORNING LAST WEEK (18TH OF SEPTEMBER) WITH A LEVEL 2 TECH AND THEY COUDLNT IFX MY PROBLEM.
THEY TOLD ME I NEED A LEVEL 3 AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE I COULD GET A CALL BACK. I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR DUE TO THIS SERIOUSLY AFFECTING OUR BUSINESS/WORK.
I WAS TOLD THE CASE WAS ESCALATED AND THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED BY THE END OF FRIDAY. I WAS NOT CONTACTED.
I THEN CALLED THIS MORNING, MONDAY THE 21ST AT 8AM AND THE VOICEMAIL SAID MICROSOFT WAS CLOSED.
I CALLED AGAIN AT 11AM AND WAS TOLD THE ESCALATION DIDNT GO THROUGH ON FRIDAY, AND THAT THEY WOULD FIX IT NOW AND GET ME A CALL BACK AT 9.30PM TONIGHT.
I AM THE OFFICE MANAGER WHO USUSALLY WORKS 9AM-5PM. FOR ME TO STAY HERE TIL 9PM-10PM FOR A CALL BACK THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ESCALATED ON FRIDAY IS RIDICULOUS.
I was sold a faulty product within warranty, microsoft would not refund me. I was passed around from employee to employee for a month only to be told there's nothing they can do. DO NOT buy with microsoft the way I have been treated is absolutely disgraceful I even bought a membership. They were very happy to take my money but when I asked for it back they told me they couldn't care less about me.
I had an update all fine and dandy but they deleted my computers bios and trackpad causing track pad not to respond during a critical job.
2- another problem same computer auto updates and randomly restarts in the middle of a job.
3. After recent update or progress it hid or deleted an admin user profile looked in cmd net user. So now the password doesn't register unless I go into the hidden restore menu of holding down shift and restarting the computer

Bought an Elite Series 2 controller for my husband on pre-order for $200. We received it in Nov 2019. I didn't purchase an extended warranty bc I figured this controller would last for more than 6 months (warranty only covers 90 days). Well here we are 9 months out and issues started 3 months ago. We figured the constant disconnecting was from the xbox servers but turns out, nope the controller, and now his buttons are sticking and he can't play his games. I called Microsoft and all they told me was basically "its out of warranty, oh well, you have to pay $100 for us to send you a new controller". Like um excuse me, why would I want to pay you for the biggest piece of $#*! controller when the non xbox brand controllers work better. DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER! Microsoft is money hungry grubs that don't care about their customers or product quality.
I tried getting back on my Xbox 360 to play some of my older games to see I have to log into my account which Microsoft has made impossible because the servers aren't even working, I used to own an Xbox one but I decided I wanted to try PlayStation and I must say Microsoft is over complicated and always seems to never work and I do truly hope that Microsoft fails as a company who became successful for paying for bad online services for the original Xbox... if I could rate lower then 1 Star I would
Ordered Surface Pro 7, Keyboard and Pen - didn't like the product.
Been trying to get a return label since the second day I got it to no avail.
Customer service keeps making excuses that return shipping label has been sent.
It has been 14 days now. I have been calling them every second day, everyday, now two times a day.
They keep saying that return label has been sent to the email address.
Asked for alternate email which has been provided but no return shipping label still.
I'll keep trying to get that label as I don't like the product and they offered 60 day return.
Really upset over this as it is beyond poor service.
They have to stand behind their product and what they advertise for rerturns.
I would suggest not to buy from Microsoft Store all.
Find the product an Amazon or somewhere it is easy for return.
Keep it in mind. So frustrating going through this hassle to return.
I'm not even sure now if they will even refund after receiving the product.
The worst experience ever!
I had renewed my subscription to microsoft office and when I went to access it, I had major issues.
It asked me for a two step verification and it sent me the code via text but when it asked me for the email verification code I could not get it because I could not receive the email, it wasn't sending me an email...
So, I called support and even the support team after getting control of my laptop tried several times to send me the email and finally it said I tried verification too many times and I would have to wait until the next day to access it.
So, I tried the day after and the same thing happened and not one support team member could hep me.
Right now I'm waiting on the phone for a supervisor and the connection is bad, I can't hear the Supervisor.
I have not been able to work for three days because I can't access word on my laptop.
It's very frustrating. And THEY have an attitude!
So after explaining my situation to a supervisor they disconnected me. They called back and the connection was so bad they tried calling me back 4 times and every time the connection was so bad I couldn't understand them. WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND THEY DON'T SEEM TO CARE! Wasted 69.99 If there were any other option I would definately NOT Use them EVER!
Today August 10th 2020 at 4:20 pm I am writing this. For the past couple hours I have been on the phone trying to figure out a bank statement with Microsoft. I had a online subscription to Xbox Live Gold that was charged to my account when there was no authorization of 48.72 I tried to resolve the issue by contacting customer service and I ain't got nothing but rude customer service if there is any way that I can get somebody higher than customer service that can take care of my issue I would greatly appreciate it for now I will just have to deal with it until I got somebody to contact me back whenever that is before this crisis happening in the world that we fear of now things have changed and I don't understand why it's so hard to get ahold of a human being over the phone
I had a 1-month free trial and assumed I would not be automatically be charged but I was. I ended up losing $108.24. No refund or anything. Terrible service.
I ordered, and was billed for 2 Elite 2 controllers, waited all frickin day for FedEx, and then only received ONE controller. Then, by the time slow $#*! FedEx arrived at my house on Saturday, it was too late to contact California to find out my order issue! The call center agents in India, as usual, were perplexed and had no idea how to rectify the order. What are you paying those people in India for, when they can't address issues?

Answer: Prohibit updates so they cannot mess up your machine by going to services and disabling the service for updates listed. Don't forget to disable all the repair service thingys too. Hope that MS will not against your will and knowledge STILL inject code into your system or further hack you.
Answer: Well my first impression is I'm surprised you say you have a college degree. You didn't mention if it's a BA, or BFA, but either degree requires the ability to spell and use grammar correctly. This isn't a school room, but for a college grad to post their thoughts on a public forum that is at a high school level is (if you are a college grad), a sad commentary on our educational system. As for Microsoft being garbage, I do agree. It started out great and Gates encouraged employees to think outside the box, try EVERYTHING and give the product's organization feedback, which made the company number 1 with office software. But, starting with Steve telling employees it's a "terminable" offense to have a Rim phone, makes no sense. But that's the philosophy now, under no circumstances Challenge our products. Don't give us feedback on our app's, just tell us they are better than anyone else's! I remember when MSN pushed Microsoft employees to go to their internal site that has MSN on one side of the UI and Google.com on the other side. The purpose was to CHALLENGE MSN. Try both together then forward your thoughts. The intent was 1. Let Microsoft know where MSN lacks so that 2. They could make it GREAT. Unfortunately, many versions later MSN didn't figure out how to make an awesome search engine and Google is still the King, but that's how Microsoft became great, Challenging their products. Now they're really losing credibility and the public is pivoting to Apple and Open Source.
