Unfortunately my phone screen went out on my Motorola phone so I decided to go back to a iPhone w/ a another company. It took me 2 days to get my 6 digit transfer pin from Metro Customer Support. Metro makes it difficult to transfer your number. I was beyond exhausted! A employee named Marilyn Scott@ 1162 Ann St Montg Al went over and beyond to assist me. She exceeded the meaning of excellent customer service and definitely made my day! Thanks Marilyn
No matter what plan you have, you are paying for the crappiest service any phone company has to offer. You can have full 5G coverage and still struggle sending a text for over 10 minutes. It's like you have to wifi under this company if you want service period. I can't tell you how many times I had to call customer service cause my service would just be off. Do not start a plan with metro pcs when I get promoted I'm definitely going with a phone company that can actually provide service. Save your patience and your money, DO NOT PLAN WITH METRO PCS. Thanks for coming to my tedTalk.
My mom has had account for her family for 5 to 6 years through Metro never missed a payment never been behind I broke my phone took my SIM card out of my Metro phone into another Metro phone they charged me $30 that I did not know turn my phone off the next couple days later added the $30 fee to my family's line turn their phones off today so in order to make $24 after whatever $6 credit they gave me or whatever the crap was they would rather lose $120 a month from a lifetime customer that is the most saddest worthless thing so so they want to make 20 bucks and lose 150 I'm switching companies and my family's mad at me too thanks a lot of Metro keep up the good work. Making my mom so mad, she kicked me off the plan..
Get disconnected after paying for service. Employee was unskilled with connecting new phones. Customer service was also unskilled switching services
On phone with them for over an hour pay my bill every month for "2" lines and i call to have them program my sim card to a new phone i already had due to original phone no longer working and they couldn't do it cause of some stupid thing about having an active account with that phone for 6 months for that phone to be unlocked to program a new SIM card to that phone so i let that go then i pay for another line and for them to ship me a new phone and i am patiently waiting then i receive the phone and this supposably extra line i got is NOT an extra line...the phone didn't even come with a SIM card, NOT even a charger for the phone... literally just a phone came in the mail then i call them to program my old SIM card from my other line to this new phone THAT WAS POST TO BE A NEW LINE IN THE FIRST PLACE and they made sure my sim matched theres in the system and my IMEI matched and everything was good... well long story short they did all these tests and resets to get the phone working and still no service then my internet goes out on my other phone that does work i request to speak to a supervisor cause obviously the first lady didn't know what she was doing the supervisor didn't know what she was doing as well she refused to even try and fix my internet in general and wouldn't even try or work with me to get my 2nd line working to even make calls... she did absolutely NOTHING to even try and help she tells me i have to wait 5 to 7 business days to resolve this issues with technical support ppl and i have to go without internet cause of her staff and my 2nd line can't be used either at all then she hangs up on me so i call back and the 3rd lady i spoke with... she got my internet fixed on my 1st line but still no service at all on my 2rd line she did everything the 1st lady did and tells me to shut off the phone for 20min and then it will work and still this phone has no service at all i paid my bill for this month...i should have the service otherwise what did i pay for the new phone to be shipped for technically i paid for a 3rd line and didn't even get the 3rd line, heck i didn't even get a charger with this new phone the customer service is rude af they don't know what there doing at there job the supervisers are even WORSE then the employees themselves i pay all this money for them to not help me at all for no 3rd line plus no phone service and customer support won't even compensate this time with no phone even tho i paid for it to top that off... I have been supposed to have hotspot and high speed data for both phones this whole time and have called numerous times cause i have had no hot spot on the phone DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THROUGH METRO PCS DUE TO LAZY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SUPERVISORS
So slow my internet,I called so many times, customer service lied... I'm customer but bad service, fjck MetroPC... Una mierda de internet.que me devuelvan el dinero, estafadores
I spend $125 /month for hotspot and ph. My internet service is terrible. It buffers all the time and peak hours it is almost unusable.( and they want to slow down my service if I use more then 35 gigs) I just spent (waisted) approx. 2 hrs. Getting no where with people I find very hard to understand and a supervisor that wants me to pay more money to get my crappy service working! NOT GONNA HAPPEN its time to get another carrier. After 8 years and thousands of dollars they could careless about me as a customer.
I was out of state and ended up maxing out my data due to not being able to connect to a secure wifi network. I ended up having to top of my data but due to not having a stable connection there was a lag issue and ended up double purchasing the top off. Due to the lag only one payment was paid so it caused a outstanding balance on my account.
Metro then disconnected my number til the outstanding payment as received. Due to the family emergency I was attending to, I was not able to sit down on hold for any considerable time to resolve the matter that.
When I finally got through to CS, they told me they had disconnected my number due to the double charge. They refused to remove the second charge. They then offered to upgrade my service plan at on charge to an unlimited data plan if I made an additional payment to cover the double top off charge. I was out of state so I agreed to make the payment to resolve the matter.
The following month, the unlimited data was never added to my plan.
My husband and I have been with them for 7 years we moved went to store purchased wifi tower paid $170 for it take it home slow or no service took tower back up there they reset it says it's fine call every other week complaining about no bars and we have to go on our porch to talk on cell phones in winter also go back June pay bill explain our Wi-Fi service Mona looks our address up and says there's not even a tower in our area to support it and they should refund us call metro 4 times will not refund our monies at all so we switched to Spectrum they will not refund our cell phone money or Wi-Fi $ but I been taking pics of our service and screenshot the bars on Wi-Fi so I'll see them in small claims court need all ours back do not go to metro they could care less and customer service is a waste of my vocabulary I'm over it run us our refund and cell phone bill is all current and bills not due till July 25 and they still won't refund although we are with another company thanks metro yall suck
My phone has been off for awhile. How can u charge me for another month when my phone wasn't on and allowed people to tap my phone. When I'm not doing anything criminal..
Always get disconnected always changing towers. I should have changed service along time ago. Virgin mobile was awesome.
I paid for international access so I could travel and it doesn't work. I went to a reputable store and they said that I needed a chip, but I needed to unlock my network.
I tried to do it myself, but I kept getting an error code. So, I called customer service to unlock my phone. The first person, "Mark" asked for my IMEI number and then hung up on me. The second person, "Jake" (ID *******) said that everything was fine on his end and that I needed to do a factory reset. I should have never listened! Even though I backed up everything, this mofo made me start all over again and I lost access to Google Voice and WhatsApp! The third person, "Joseph" (*******) said I needed to contact Samsung to unlock my phone because my phone is not eligible to be unlocked until mid-December.
I called Samsung and Sixto gave me a ticket number and said that Metro by T-Mobile lied to me. He said that Samsung had nothing to do with unlocking networks.
Now, I'm stuck in another country without a way to use GPS all because Metro by T-Mobile won't unlock the network until mid-December.
My advice to ANYONE... AVOID THIS CARRIER! I will be switching as soon as I get back to the US!
Absolutely the worst! I lost my phone last night. I started very early this morning to get the process started to get a new phone. I spent probaby 5 or 6 hours on the phone, plust my lunch hour, and spoke with FIVE agents in a row, each one promissing me that the options they were offering me and that I was accepting would process. They kept giving me made up reasons for what was going on, it was very obvious after awhile. After spending literally all day on the phone with them. They finally tell me that they cannot help me afterall that I should go to the MetroPCS store. I am really upset about this. Some of the agents were very rude and sarcastic, even though they would routinely tell me it would be 2 minutes and then 20 minutes later they are still "processing". Even though at one point all they were doing is updating an address. They had no idea what they were doing and are liars. They completely wasted my time today when I was supposed to be remote working. I only wish I could give them ZERO STARS!
I can't even give this company any peice of a star. This company is by far the worst possible phone or network there is in planet earth. Constant dropped calls if they even go through. And getting support or try to talk to someone. Forget it ain't happening. I am trying to let people know that DO NOT get sucked in like I did. The phones are garbage and they don't have the satellites like real sites. Do yourself a favor and try anything besides this company. My self I'm going to Verizon. But explore your options of course. But don't fall into their trap. I'm working on a refund or suing them. Good luck
I wanna say thank to metropcs and the nice lady that was patient with me and helped me through the way. Thank you metropcs
I HAVE BEEN WITH METRO SINCE THEY CAME OUT MANY YEARS AGO,I RECOMENDED THEM MORE TIMES THAN i can count. Since t mobile took over metro is trash. Plain and simple trash. Upgrades have quadrupled In price for much lower quality phones, and the signal for mobile data is spotty at best in same area it was good in for 15 years or more,WI fi is spotty, you need to be sitting on the router to pick up the signal, I have two lines thinking I could use Hotspot from one to the other, nope, faster with mobile data than hotspot.and mobile data is slow if existent.I've got the Samsung a 14, and nokia g400. The Nokia is worse than any android I've ever had all the way back to early 2000. The Samsung is not much better. I had a Samsung a 12 before that waS much better. But I believe it's more possible the actual service than device. T mobile has pretty much gutted all that was good with metro pcs. I'll be leaving next billing cycle.
Metro gives high speed internet for only a day or two per month. The rest of the month metro makes internet speed slow and buffering. Example this month I received message stating I had 10% of high speed left after 1 day in the month. I shut my phone off and when I turned it back on I had used up the 10% of the high speed I had left. How I used 10% of my high speed internet when the phone was off is a mystery. I think metro is a crooked company that intentionally slows down internet speed to encourage customers to pay higher fees for faster internet.
Metro Pcs has allowed the use of a credit card fraudulently and with disregard to a private citizen using their non disclosure policy to hide a criminal from being prosecuted. This company needs to be out of business. They clearly are not moral or favorable for any type of trust.Hi Charles that's horrible to hear what had happened! My name is Harmony and I am here to assist you today. We here at Metro by T-Mobile want all of our customers to experience the best customer service that we have to offer. Do you currently have an account with us? - Harmony
This message may be stored. Learn more at http://t-mo.co/PrivacyI don't have an account with you your company is hiding behind a non disclosure policy and refusing to release a phone number or name when i have the dates and amount and my wife's card number used I will keep posting these messages along with the days and amounts u til metro gives me the information so I can file charges since it was done online. The disclosure policy doesn't cover customers of metro who fraudulently and criminally use a private citizens bank information I am well aware of that. That's very frustrating that this had happened to you. I would be beside myself! When did you reach out to your bank and were you able to get the funds refunded back? - HarmonyNo bc they require police work and the police require information your company is refusing to provide hiding behind a non disclosure clause which clearly has been beached by your customer criminally now if you'd like to help them I need the number or accountant name otherwise I'm done discussing this and I will send out that message on every single ad page and media I find metro on AND since I cam provide the amounts card and dates it will not be considered slander or liable. Non disclosure like the medical clause doesn't cover acts pertaining to criminal behaviorI understand completely. It's scary when things like this happen. We know that your time is valuable, and we here at Metro by T-Mobile take security very seriously. We do ask that you contact your bank and we do also suggest filing a police report. -HarmonyAgain whoever you are, you are refusing to provide the information and protecting a criminal committing fraud and theft thank you for your time as this conversation will now be made public and show metro pcs immoral and unethical code of conduct regarding the irresponsible continual and malicious actions they allow to happen on the guise of disclosure
How a company who's whole business is based around communication can be such a failure at it is beyond me. I don't have a problem with the service. But if I have an issue and have to go to the website or use the app, it's the most annoying experience I can imagine.I have tried repeatedly to sign up for the ACP program. First under the instructions it says to go to "my account" and fll out the app. Where? There is no app, finally had to call and frankly while the customer service agents seem polite it is incredibly hard to even understand them. Sorry but when someone has such a thick accent it makes it even harder to navigate their crap website. Finally got the info by going to chat. Which would be a lot easier if there were a way to simply go to chat. But like everything else on their garbage website that's not clearly pointed out. They should have a way to simply start a chat with customer service. The agents in chat are very helpful, but dealing with this pos website is just so frustrating I tend to get short with them, even though it's not their fault.anyway finally found the application which works about as well as everything else on the website. Kinda hard to fill in information when nothing works. Finally get it filled out and that's when it just kicks me off, so have to start over. Screw this garbage. I'm looking for another provider. Someone who actually puts some thought into helping customers.bye bye Metro.
When you try to get help and call customer service, you are routed to the Philippines. They barley talk English, and refuse basic service to ACP participants. They will not help you resolve anything, you can explain something 10x and they will still think what you are saying is no true as far as credit. I was in the ACP program paying $20.00 a month for $50 worth of services. After five-to-six months my bill jumped back to regular cost (I did not change anything my name, address, service and etc.) I just seen my bill and called in to see what happened. From that point they had me paying $60+, and like a regular person you would say like me, "Look at what I've been paying, I have no reason to boot myself off the program, and ACP didn't do it, at this point who cares, let's just fix it, give me credit on my account and take ACP# again." No luck with common sense. I wonder if T-mobile customers also get routed to the Philippines also. Bad service!
