Truly I am orry for those of you who have had a bad experiance with Mercari. I found out about Mercari in 2015. First, I was just buying, then i started selling a few things here and there. I'm retired however so i just sell to buy. I also have a ton of fun and get to meet so many nice folks.So on my part, I sure love it

Mercari has been holding my money $1485 for over 1 year and they finally sent me a email saying my funds was available so I tried to deposit it. But it was rejected my the bank do to miss spelled name.So I tried to log back on into my account and correct the name on the deposit but I couldn't cause mercari deleted my account. I have no access. I sent them over 10 emails and got no response. Very poor customer service. They stole my money I going to file a complaint with the BBB and contact a lawyer. Mercari you better contact me right now I want my money. You made 10% off of my sale 1 year ago and got your money and mine to. Help me boycott mercari lets get them shut down. This site has it going on! By far, it is easier and MUCH more enjoyable to use than ebay. Take pictures, write a description, list, sell, ship, and get paid! It really is that easy! I have read the reviews written by people who have had trouble on this site, and I believe that all their problems have come because of not understanding how the site works. I have found Mercari to be a wonderful site! I have bought and sold on this site and have had nothing but success! Every couple of weeks, I have a couple of hundred dollars of my sales money directly deposited into my bank account. When I make a purchase, the funds will come out, either from my balance with Mercari or my PayPal account. It works perfectly! By all means, read the bad reviews. As you do, you will see the mistakes that many users have made. Some have acted unscrupulously, and others just lose patience because they just don't seem to understand how this site works! It is straight forward and easy! No problem! Highly recommended! Try it!

If you want to lose your money get scammed any way possible the use mercari! They have the worst customer service and surely have the worst company structure. Nothing do is professional. Ive lost over $400 dollars with mecari from scamming buyers, and mercari will keep the funds you they make from you selling your products then proceed to not accommodate your best interest. Its a scam!

I sign up for this website to sell my designer item. But what happened is after I sold the item they blocked my account that my item was counterfeit. So the item was shipped to the buyer but I cannot write a message nor to transfer the money to my bank account. They asked for the authentication for the item such as proof of receipt. Who has the receipt for the old item you bought. I also purchased the Moncler jacket from this website and find out the this coat the counterfeit but I cannot contact the seller about this and get a refund.

I used to eBay for long time but they never hold funds or block the account for ridiculous reason. You really have to watch out selling at this place. There's no phone number to call the customer service and you really have to rely on the emails and this is messed up. I will never ever deal with this website and you should not either. Going back to my old friend E-Bay! Seller! You will loose your money they will black your account and you can't not do anything or transferred the money to you bank.

Worst site ever! Jus had my account removed! As I maid complaints that I wasntgetting my items and I lost out on money! Then I was accused of doing things I didnt and I had maid complaints that I had not received the items but the sellers where paid eney way! Do not go hear!

I have used this site for a long time, you can only rate the seller when the item has been received. In my situation the seller choose to cancel my transaction due to a mistake on "shipping options". When I tried to contact the seller, I was expecting her to give me options for me to buy, instead she gave a terrible response "Well don't buy from me again" (and blocked me). There is no way to document this to warn other buyers, since the transaction was cancelled. BEWARE of BrisiLinda!

Look I know most people think reviews that are outstanding are bots or just have incentive to do so, i can tell you thats not me. Now i cant speak for anyone buying from this site as i have not done so yet, but I am a seller with a 5 star rating not one negative review and also am new only 3 months now, but as to date I LOVE this site. ITS easy to use smooth interface ( i use the app on iphone) not the website version. So only speaking for my self but its worth giving a try to see for your self if nothing else is all i can say.

Looking for a place to sell your stuff like eBay? You Definelty need to try Mercari. I love this site and have been selling on it for about 3 years now.Its. Its a much simpler platform, list items in seconds and thats it. Customer service has improved a good deal from where it started. Thr only downside is It used to have no fees when you sold something so you kept all your money, theyve changed that to 10% (which is still on par with eBay so not a biggie).

Had 448 GREAT, 5 GOOD, and 2 POOR since starting in April. Feedback speaks for itself. Unfortunate part is mercari allows fraud buyers to just claim anything is fake to get a free item, while Mercari blames you even when the item is 100% genuine with receipts and detailed photos.

Well today Mercari terminated my account due to fraud buyers filing false authentic claims, they cancelled 36 in progress transactions and fully refunded the buyers, even with the buyer already having the item, or is in transit. Total revenue value of these 36 items is well over $1000, not to mention the $300 mercari is holding from by balance. So as of now I'm out $1300 for now thanks to fraud buyers and the chimpanzee support group at Mercari.

This company deserves to rot in the deepest level of hell. I recommend NO one use them.

I used Mercari once recently to buy something and would never use it again. I had a problem with an item I purchased, and it was horrendous to communicate with the seller or with Mercari. The site doesn't appear to be set up for smooth resolution of issues that can arise from time to time. So I turned to my credit card company and they gave me a prompt refund.

I have had my account deleted due to false accusations and have had zero interest in resolving this matter. Assumptions should not be acted upon, this is a bad business practice. When called out on BS assumptions, Mercari ignores the consumer or gives a generic copy/paste response, same one, every single time. There is no customer service, this is fail number one. Fail two would be being super Nazi like. This is America. In America, we have freedoms. Innocent until proven guilty kind of thing. Which requires evidence. Evidence Mercari doesn't have because they're going off of an assumption. Again, I reached out, to get the copy/paste response & now am being ignored. False accusations. I look forward to the lawsuit that is inevitable in the years to come, between $#*! customer service and STEALING money that is not rightfully theirs. Ya know, theft, lies, deceit. These are ILLEGAL & one day, you'll have your $#*! bit, and I cannot wait. Now, "kindly", as you enjoy saying in your copy/paste, stop sending me app notifications, emails, surveys, etc. and "kindly" shove it up your thieving, lying asses and $#*! off. Have a great day!

Never try mercari! There is lots of scammer and counterfeit items. Mercari does nothing to protect seller. You can never reach mercari at all. This app is a total trash.

In all honesty, I wouldn't recommend Mercari to anyone looking to make a few quick bucks. Not only is every one penny pinching cheap but also nonexistent. People here want everything for literally free! Like $3 with free shipping cheap. Sure I've made a couple sales but literally NOTHING over $20 with free shipping. After fees and shipping, it's actually like $12. The people on Mercari are crazy & rude. It's the homeless man's eBay. Customer service is a joke and pretty much doesn't exist. Save your time and energy. Go to eBay, Posh, or Depop.

I have had a very positive experience on the site. I find a lot of the complaints are people trying to sell fake goods. If you are selling fake goods, don't expect to be welcome on any selling platform. If you sell or buy high end goods on any site, there is a risk. Know that before you list or buy. The customer service has been very responsive for me. I speak to them in a kind manner and they do the same. It is a win for me.

Everything was going great until I had just 1 person report my item as a fake which its 100% authentic but now after all my hard work put into my little mercari shop they have held $218 from me for 90 days just because 1 person said my item was fake. Dont even waste your time with this app. When you try to contact customer service its like youre talking to a nonexistent computer.

I ordered a blanket from this company as a gift; I had seen it on other sites for twice the price and thought I was getting a great deal, especially with the caption "perfect condition, just like new." Well, it wasn't. It was dirty, covered in lint, and certainly was not new. Also the way it was packaged was horrendous. It had been rolled into a ball and stuffed into a barely taped box... Poor quality all the way around... Never again.

Nick is the name of the person that was no help threw the help service. No customer service what so ever. I tried to get threw someone else to help me but there is NO ONE! What a joke. I was sold trash and Mr. NICK told me because of their return policy he could not issue the person that sold me trash to refund me even when i said i would send the product back. I asked if the policy has changed because i had a previously had a similar issue and was able to return my item and get a refund no problem. Nope not this time. Nick told me i can resell the item and try to get my money back haha so in other words resell the trash and screw someone else out of their money. WOW! Great company this is. Unbelievable. Beware that if u have a issue on this site u will have no customer service and will be screwed out of ur money and there is absolutely nothing u can do
