I just signed up for meetmyage and as soon as my profile was created, an absolute flood of women contacted me. However I soon realized that while I was carrying on multiple conversations with these profiles, they all started to sound the same. They had similar responses, sometimes even word for word. EVERYONE was extremely conversational asking the right questions, not talking about themselves but relentlessly asking me questions.
NOT like real people. REAL people struggle with conversations and definitely REAL people don't hop all over me when I sign up for a dating app (POF, Match, Zoosk). When real people are involved, it's super common to not get responses for a while and to practically beg someone to respond to me.
There's something really strange going on with meetmyage.
I blocked a couple people who were CLEARLY bots and I got response emails from support with a form letter talking about how things like that aren't allowed on the site.

Now I'm trying to decide if this entire site is a scam with everyone on it being AI bots or if it's just been taken over by fake accounts.
I'm really getting a bad vibe about meetmyage. It just seems that everyone talks to me the same way, asks the same questions, answers my questions the same way, word for word.
I'm glad I only purchased 1 month because I'm almost certain this site is not legit.

Both Max Davis and Emma Harper were most helpful in dealing with my request to cancel my membership with MeetMyAge. I did not get any kind of run around with my request. I did receive a response from Max asking for a reason for my request along with an offer to stay with MeetMyAge. Which I declined.
After responding back Emma took care of my request without any issues. The experience with both Max and Emma was positive.

I took out a months subscription £36, give it a go while browsing your site I touched something and was straight away charged £47 for credits I was all ready a premium member I emailed straight away they refused to refund me saying best they can do was £38 later on I was again looking and trying navigate site was charged another £47 and then 2 lots of £71 which I never agreed to also my bank has said you've taken £59 now they stopped all payments tonight I go online to answer messages I cant

I came upon this dating app via FB and out of curiosity decided to test it out. After testing it out for a while, I decided it wasn't for me, but it doesn't mean that it can't work for others. I found it too basic and without enough guardrails to ensure you were talking to real people. The giveaway was the huge number of people supposedly looking in my neighborhood. I don't think there are even than many in total. I do want to recognize Katie on the customer support team who helped me cancel without any hassle.
