Absolutely beware! They are 100 % scammer
I send iPhone without any mark scratch dent or chip with good battery health they amended the sale and offer £70 less than they should
I think they use microscope for inspection bc on 8k video and very high quality photos I don't seee anything now and when I'm packing phone I don't see also anything
So don't waste your time don't send them anything just sell online somewhere
As a test, I sent an iPhone XS Max and received the usual "Problem with your order" email. According to their "checks", my iPhone was covered in scratches and the touchscreen had come away from the phone body. They offered me £25 for it.
Oh dear. As I said above, this was a test. The iPhone sent to them was a pristine, box fresh device that underwent vigorous testing prior to shipping. The screen had been checked using microscopic imaging, all edges, demarcation points and ports/buttons underwent similar checks. This phone was IMMACULATE. I have asked for it back. If the device is returned in any condition other than that recorded prior to shipping, the device, the original condition report, and Mazuma's "assessment" will be issued to Trading Standards. If the device in any way has been swapped out or tampered with, it will become a Police matter.
Do not give your device to these unscrupulous hacks. Their business model involves lies to cut the amount they'll pay to you so that their profit margin on each device is maximised.
Mazuma are scam artists. They give you a price for a phone and then once you have paid £9 to send it to them, they find a 'problem' and reduce it significantly.
In my case they said there were scratches so reduced from £350 to £280. I had photographed the phone from all angles before sending to show it was immaculate. I asked them to send me a photo of the 'scratches' but they couldn't. Instead they circled some dots (barely visible to the naked eye- see photo) on the photos I sent them of the phone before I sent it.
I didn't trust them to return my phone in the same condition given they are scam artists. Ended up with £280 for an iPhone 14 that looked like it was brand new - an expensive lesson learned!
I would encourage all others who have been scammed by this company to report to trading standards and take them to the small claims court to prevent them from doing this in the future.
Don't use this company it's a out right joke and a con OrderID: ———-

'Problems' arising out of thin air, use CEX (UK) instead
I sent my device (M*******) in excellent condition and they came back with an assessment saying the LCD screen is lifting. A ridiculous claim that is baseless. My device has no scratches, maintained in a case and screen protector throughout its lifetime. I inspected it and cleaned it immaculately prior to sending and somehow they found the screen apparently lifting. This is a highly dubious company with unscrupulous business practices of undervaluing devices for issues I believe they have manufactured to lower the price.
Don't use Mazuma, settle for CEX instead or another resell company with a standard of integrity.
Then when I rejected it they increased to £70.
Said it had multiple scratches which is a complete lie as was protected from new.
Don't be taken in!
Shocking company!
Scamming customers.
Gave me a price of £145 for my Google pixel 7a, this phone had been used for less than a month the condition was immaculate as the phone is virtually new. Sent my phone of special delivery to receive an email informing me that my phone has an issue. They state that the phone is covered in scratches and the USB port needs replacing. This is complete fabrication. They amended their offer to £20!? I obviously rejected their ridiculous offer they came back with £25. I'd like to see where anyone can buy a Google pixel 7 a for £25!?!?
Fortunately i took a video of the phone in working order and its condition.
How is this company allowed to operate?! Scamming customers out of their money is absolutely disgusting this company needs shutting down immediately.
I have now read alot of other very unhappy customers and read the replies from mazuma and clearly they just do not care.
Whatever you do, please not use this company! Trust all of the 1* reviews on here and everywhere else with people complaining about the exact same thing. Never in all my years of dealing with a company have I come across such a bunch of thieving charlatans. The fact Mazuma Mobile tried to get my review taken down on other sites says everything you need to know.
Over the years I have sold mobiles with various companies and I have never experienced a problem. That all ended when I unfortunately decided to give Mazuma Mobile a go. I sent my iPhone 13 to them which was in great condition only to be told that the phone apparently had significant scratches on the screen (which apparently required a full screen replacement) and dents to the housing, both of which was complete and utter rubbish.
Subsequently my offer of £270 was dropped to £115! Looking on their website this is what Mazuma Mobile deem to be a faulty phone. However, I have picture after picture confirming the phone was in great condition.
This company clearly prays on individuals who have no choice but to accept a significantly reduced and derisory offer out of desperation. Luckily I was not in that position so requested my phone was immediately sent back (which I also had to pay £7.50 for the pleasure of special delivery). Unfortunately though there will be others who have no choice but to accept the vastly reduced offers they put forward.
It's funny though because once I received my phone back, I immediately sent it to a company I have used before and got the exact amount quoted on their website 👌
I really wish I had listened to the negative reviews on here and other review sites. I should have stuck with my gut instinct. It would have saved me a lot of time and hassle.
Mazuma Mobile you are a joke of a company and you should be ashamed of the way you make your money.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DON'T BE SWAYED BY THE PROSPECT OF A SLIGHTLY INCREASED OFFER AS UNFORTUNATELY IT WILL NEVER MATERIALISE.
Absolutely appalling company who offer a price and then re value based on fictitious reports! Con artists do not deal with them.
Absolute con. Sent my iPhone 24 that was immaculate - not a single scratch on it and had a screen protector and case on it from the day I got it. I inspected it, bubble wrapped it and boxed it and sent it off. They come back and say there are more than 3 scratches on the screen, so they have to take £40 off. There wasn't even 1 scratch on the screen. Con. Avoid.
I sent in a perfectly good phone for them to review and give me a price but messaged back saying there was scratches on it and the front screen was crack so they'd have to replace the screen I know full well there was nothing wrong with it I 💯 would rather keep the phone in the draen than send it to this company what a waste of time 🤬
Offer of both phones reduced considerably. One phone did have one scratch penalised £85, the other perfect, reduced by £40
Quoted £105, received £90,they said phone had numerous scratches,I thoroughly cleaned phone and inspected it under magnifying glass.there was not a mark on it,they asked me to send photos which I did not have, they were quite rude, would never use again and advise others to avoid them.💩
Do not use and avoid at all costs. Had a quote of £115 for an iPhone XR in excellent condition, practically looked brand new. Sent my phone off, and they came back saying they had reduced the quote to £90 due to 'multiple scratches'. I asked them to send me photos of these apparent 'scratches', and the photos they sent me were quite clearly not my phone. They had sent me photos of someone else's damaged phone! Queried this and they responded very unprofessionally with no answers of course. As they couldn't answer my questions, they then sent a further email saying they were returning the phone back to me. Unsure how they can get away this. Should have looked at the reviews beforehand as looks like this is a regular occurrence of theirs unfortunately. Disloyal and unprofessional company and I most definitely won't be using again and will be making everyone else aware to not use this lying company either. I expect when I receive my phone back, it won't be in the same condition as I originally sent it in. Please listen to the 1 star views. You will find multiple reviews with very similar experiences to mine.
Sent an iPhone11 in perfect condition that I should have for £140 for.
They got the phone and offered me £50! For an email saying the phone was damaged! I refused the offer of £50 - they they offered me £90! Absolute joke! The phone was in perfect condition
AVOID WASTING TIME!
Our phone was in excellent condition, valued at a reasonable price, sent off and after receipt valued at much less than quoted value. They will up the offer when you refuse but not by much.
You also have to up their £150 postage insurance cover which costs more!
Also check what they sell a similar model to yours for, they're CON merchants!
AND finally Mazuma no I don't want to send you my order number, wasted too much time already!
Sent my Samsung Galaxy S10e to them, in very good condition. It has no scratches as it had a screen protector and hard wallet case from day one. I took several photos of the phone before sending.
They offered £55.
The company have just emailed me saying they've 'tested the phone and it's got Screen Burn' and needs a 'new screen' and the offer has been reduced to £10.
Screen burn shows up as colour ghosting and can be easily seen by the naked eye. It's usually caused by hundreds and thousands of hours of stagnate display. I always had a Screen Timeout on all my phones and there absolutely categorically was no screen burn whatsoever on that phone prior to my sending it.
Obviously I've rejected their offer and if my phone isn't returned to me within 10 days in the same condition I'll be contacting Trading Standards.
Sent them a grade AAA iPhone 13 mini, that had a screen protector and case from day one. Not a blemish on the screen…
Anyway they've docked the price by £255 to £215 due to 3 scratches…
They're no scratches on the phone….but needed the money so had to accept.
This is obviously their business model…
Awful practice.
Sent galaxy s9 to them for £40... they then told me the screen had scratches when it never... phone had had screen protectors since new. Offered £5. I refused then they sent revised offer of £10.I refused and they returned my phone. The phone arrived with scratches on the screen and they actually stole the box I sent it in... they are absolute thieving scammers...AVOID
In a similar vein to others they offer one price then reassess to a ridiculously low offer, come back with a slightly better one that I still didn't accept and won't send it back with the original box I sent it in!
Probably will use it for one of their grade B iPhone XR's "for as little as" £259.99 (offered me £40).
In my opinion stay well clear of this lot!
