We celebrated 50th wedding anniversary of our parents in Saffron Leaf hotel, GMS Road on 12th June, 2016. It offered a complete package of an expansive banquet, delicious food and exotic ambience.
All arrangement by the Banquet Manager, Mr. Uttam Rawat were at par with the reputation that precedes it. Apart from managing the arrangements, he took personal care of our guest as well. The food arrangement was well taken care of by Chef Kulbeer Rana under the supervision of Mr. Qureshi. The food and services provided were value for money and were simply great.
All in all an amazing price performance point.

I booked 4 rooms of "Hotel Grand Sunset" in Chail from your app.On reaching Chail all the way from Delhi on 21st at the hotel we were told by the hotel that they have only three rooms and cannot do anything about it.we were placed on numerous calls with MakeMytrip Custome care and Hotel owner and finally after a lot of discussions and request from hotel management we agreed to manage with three rooms provided we get refund on one room.
We have called your customer care several times and every time we were told that your amount will get refunded in 7 working days and the amount comes to Rs2030.
Finally when i wrote on Facebook, they initiated my refund but just of Rs101. Really that pissed me off as i paid 4899 for two rooms and if one room is cancelled i am entitled to get 2499 Rs.

Planning a marriage /function in Golden Tulip Chattarpur. Things that come free with booking
1)You are a bakra for them after booking.
2) Extra charges equivalent in dollars for indian rupees u considered basics part of the package e. G fans in the pooja area
3) Delays- The whole function spoilt. Our reception on 17th april-16 could not be held. Because bride fainted for A/C not functioning and 3 hours not an ant moved!. Lakhs wasted. If this is not enough
4) The bar service less said the better
5) The music The DJ even school kids can do better
6)The menu items halved, and that too not served. People left asking and the waiters moving across the multiple venues -with empty plates. No supervisor nothing
7) The plate charges double even when guests leave earlier without taking food. Plates counted doubled. No deductions for messy plates, extras a standard practice in other Golden Tulip franchisee
8)- After spending lakhs, you r under house arrest till you settle extras a few thousands even when staying in their hotel fully paid for two extra days beyond the function
9) Loss of valuables, jewellery in a flash from the dressing room under camera -while the function is on
Even if after reading this you want to choose it like the normal dillians choosing kejriwal on promises or this will not happen to you. Good Luck

I wanted to modify my return dates so I sent an email to customer support.
I got the reply and in the reply there was a link to change the booking.
I clicked on that link 1000 times but it did not work.
So I called customer care.
After 40 minutes talking to extension 4084, he told me there is some problem with the system and asked me to call after 30 minutes. The price he asked me to pay was *******.
I called after 30 minutes and tried to use the extension 4084, but it was wrong extension.
After some time I talked with Shipra for 35 minutes. After that she told me the price I have to pay is *******.
This is 1500 more than the previous call.
She said she cant update the system and transferred to extension 8245.
This guy with fake British accent put me on hold for 24 minutes.
Why are you harassing your customers? While on hold you make me listen to your offers, deals, discounts?
Because of your system fault my money and time is wasted. I need the money back.
I know this email wont make any difference to your service. But I will post it on facebook and also on twitter.
In india people are afraid of 2 types of department which are made to help people.

Both harass everyone for no reason.

Mytrip.com robbed me in borad daylight. I ended up paying three times the amount I should have. They lied to me, took my money and never replied to any of my emails. Outrageous "company". I hope they go bankrupt.
Recently we had booked a tour for Hongkong and were utterly disappointed with the services. In India the details are not given properly and when you board the flight one comes to know that the flight is going through Delhi where there will be a changeover. A direct flight form Mumbai would have reduced the travel time from 9 hours to 5-6 hours.
Hotel booking in Hong Kong has check in time of 3 pm and you have to wait for long before you check in the room as the flight reaches there in the morning. Indirectly its a waste of a day.
The local tour partners-Holiday World has pathetic staff. Very uncooperative and rude at multiple instances. We requested a early pick up for the airport on the last day but it was very rudely turned down and we were not able to spend enough time on airport and missed out on lot of shopping.
Moreover the tour cost includes only Flight and Hotel, which probably does not give much value for money. It would have been cheaper if the bookings were done on our own as we booked most of the local sightseeing
I had booked hotels through MMT for Shimla, Manali and Chandigadh. All these hotel turned out to be no better than guest house and I had opted out for better hotel at Manali at much higher price.
I felt cheated
This website is well-known but I always have issues with them. They end up not adding baggage to the airlines even though we pay for it and it ends up in problems at the Airports. Always book tickets in the airline websites. These Makemytrip people never respond to your queries as well, they say they will get back but never get back.
They do not deseve even a 1 star rating!

Then bonus cash back! Now this is some trap.
I had an opt to book with Cleartrip where I was getting 2000 cash back credit in my bank account, unlike MakeMytrip where the amount gets collected as "bonus" amount in your mmt wallet which apparently has an expiry date. Well, I am still fine with it. But the real trap comes when I can use only 5% of the amount to make my next booking. So are you trying to tell me that in a span of 4 months you expect a normal person to take vacations every single month so as he can very safely earn 2000 rather still would not be able to earn and enjoy the feel of the cash back.
Freak bro! That is some marketing gimmick! Hidden terms and conditions it is.
Cleartrip and other ticketing online marketplace play a fair game unlike you.

We had booked hotel king garden for 1 night ( Royal room with AC bathtub. I would like thanks to MMT for sush fabulous discount. Going ahead hotel is awesome since there is no view from hotel as same is located on ground. But rooms were well cleaned,,, special thanks to hotel management for such lightening fast room service. Food was fantastic really happy with food which made my day so happy... also all points are closed from location. Only swimming pool is not maintained properly... rest hotel is fine and awesome.
I have been a customer of MakeMyTrip for a very long time and so far, though, I had faced few inconveniences at times the association was OK otherwise but the last trip with MakeMyTrip was horrible and won't advise anyone to take services of MMT.
MakemyTrip confirmed the hotel booking on 19th March 2016, asked me to make payments for the travel date 24th March 2016 for Mahablaleswar at SAJ Resort - 4 Star.
After reaching on 24th March at Mahabhalesher, Saj Resort said, the booking was cancelled and they informed MMT via email on 19th March. They even forwarded me the cancellation email.
Due to the incompetence of MMT in informing us that cancellation has been cancelled, my family with 2 year old daughter ended-up on the road for like 5-6 hours... hot humid climate... due to to Holi Weekend, we couldn't get anything and ended up spending 10k+ and returned back to Bombay same night.
Absolutely poor service from MMT. Please keep yourself away from MakeMyTrip Services.
They called right away once they had accepted my stolen card number from someone with an entirely different name. I told them to cancel the charge and I cancelled the card, but they kept $80 for some reason so I have to dispute it through the bank (a 3 month process). No one should accept a credit card when the names don't match, but I am owed the rest of my money/their charge!
I would like to highlight absence of regulatory bodies over eCommerce companies (such as, MakeMyTrip) who tend to enforce their own policies over common man/customer without any accountability.
I would like to bring forward my experience with MakeMyTrip which shows how this company is breaching customer's trust:
Me and my wife planned to spend our anniversary weekend in Pondicherry, so, booked a Club Mahindra hotel for 3 nights from MakeMyTrip app and got confirmation vouchers. Next day, we got mail from MakeMyTrip that there was some technical glitch (pricing error) at the time of booking and we need to either cancel it or take their special offer (which was actually not so special). We didn't agree to it as it looked like breach of customer trust, so, asked for their policy and if this technical glitch is already made public (through net or media). But MakeMyTrip is not looking to make it public and was fine with acceptance in mail only. As we didn't trust the company we didn't give our consent for which they went ahead and cancelled our booking quite aggressively. I requested their CEO (Mr. Deep Kalra) in email to look into the matter urgently but didn't get any response from him but their management conveyed us that they can't do anything on this and their decision is final.
Please note that it is NOT matter of money but of sheer control with no accountability these eCommerce companies wanted to have over customers. We can feel that even if you've confirmed booking through MakeMyTrip we can get mail anytime that it is not yet confirmed. Had MakeMyTrip accepted their technical glitch publicly I would have given my consent for cancellation. I can understand it would raise question over their quality and services but if they're really ethical and gutsy then they should.
I will never ever book a bus ticket through makemytrip, i was told a bus but its not even a bus its a tempo traveller which is modified into a so cald stupid n worst volvo. I would also recommed who so ever i know. I would definitely tell everyone about this what such a big brand did at the time of delivery. Its worst journy ive ever been to.
Why does your site charge so much for a simple date change? I am so unhappy. We made a small mistake and have this extravagant fee to pay now. I used another site, Vayama, in the past, and they only charged $50. Seems like MakeMyTrip rips people off. We see almost 200 complaints about your company, and now here is one more. Very sad that India has companies like this that give the country a bad name.
I have been using MakeMyTrip for booking hotels since i travel a lot. I am very much satisfied with the discounts and also the service rendered by them. I always found their service to be hassle free. Discounts, range and quality of hotels have always been the best. I love this site and would definitely recommend them to my friends and relative.
MakeMyTrip is an organization that has failed to provide a good service, to keep their promises, to give accurate assessments and they have a tendency to fob customers off after they have expressed their dissatisfaction and disappointment from their personal experiences. I have been offered a future travel voucher instead of a cash refund to make sure that I am bound to them for future trips against my wishes. They seem to abide by unethical and unprofessional policies that compromises their customers' happiness and total satisfaction. An absolute let down and a complete rip off...

Mum to colombo and back in oct 2015 and they said i will get 4000 rs cash back but have not got till date... Called them many times only thing they do is lodge a new complaint and ask to wait for another 7/10 days... Liars and cheaters! I should have booked from another site
Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.

Answer: It is better you raise a request through make my trip website if you had any recent booking with them. Simply log on to their website - go to my trip section and then select the booking id and press on need help/connect. You can also write at [email protected]. They do connect pretty fast.
