Please do not book from makemytrip... they are worst in providing service. I booked hotel in gwalior for 23 jan 2016, but when i reached late night there, my booking was cancelled without intimating me... they were only having "sorry" as reply. Though they have refunded the amount, but i have filled case against them in consumer forum. I ruined my paper next day because of mental harrassment... so friends, please do not book from makemytrip... don't get trapped!

Note: Sitejabber please provide no star option also. Makemytrip dose'nt deserve to get even 1 star

My id of booking is in1511b6s*******, booked trip to darjiling and gangtok for 6 days with rs 69,999 rs.
The flight to bagdogra get cancelled, we called to makemytrip for alternative by train, but they said "we can not do anything for this case you have to go yourself to the destination, we can not do anything abt flight alternative or can not support to reach" also the person of make my trip "sohaib pathan" and "manisha" from accounts dept suggested to cancel the trip and will inform the refund.
From delhi airport i returned to my home, and i got mail of trip cancellation with refund of only 20,000 rs. Thi cancellation refund amount did not informed to me and cancelled my trip themself.
Now i called to sohaib pathan and manisha, but since 7 days continuously they give same answers "we sent mail abt refund we will get back to you" but no one will call back abt th complaint.

I lost my 50,000 rs in this trip, where i called to the hotels they give full refund to makemytrip by hotels sumit herritage at gangtok and darjiling, also spice jet gave all refund amount.

After this complaint I received only 6000 Rs as the Refund Amount.

I have been pursuing MMT through several calls and online complaints for about 2 weeks now for my insurance papers and I still haven't go them. Because of this my visa is stuck. Apart from, I had to pursue them even to send my ticket and invoice. Worst customer service ever, with false commitments made by executives as well as the supervisor. Even their extension numbers are incorrect. And they say they do not have the phone number of the insurance company they partner with. Extremely harassed. I am going to go out of my way to make sure nobody of the thousands people I know use this website and get to have similar harrowing experiences. While sharing word about this, I just got to know that another friend was charged an amount higher than the one mentioned in the invoice. Customers have to be compensated for this. (Even as I write this, I have been on a two hour long call with them with no result yet.)

I have now tried 5 times trying make an amendment to my current reservations from Delhi to Jaipur using your website and all 5 times I receive a message that it is processing, but then it stops. I am not changing the date of my travel, just a later time... 17:55 departure time. I even tried to use the 100 Rs credit I have on my account and it took that credit but would not accept the remaining payment via a credit card that I used previously. There is no explanation that the website is experiencing technical issues with your website or any communication for that matter. And now, I have been on the phone for 1 hour trying to resolve this matter and I have yet to get anywhere with calling in. I have never been so disappointed with service in my life, nor have I experienced such dysfunctional operations. I will NEVER use your service again, and I will be sure to communicate to all my friends and family.

We had booked a trip, as suggested by the executive Mr. Gautam Kumar but sadly after making the full payment also, we did not receive the details of the hotel booking and only received an incomplete flight details. Tried calling them number of times but nobody helped us. they had put me on hold and even disconnected on my face. Is this is what they call service? We had our trip cancelled. Friends,... never ever go for make my trip

I had done booking on 3rd october. As soon as i reached the hotel they told the rooms are not available after that i was on the phone with makemytrip guys for 4 hours and found that makemytrip guys overbooked the room and did not contacted the hotel. I used my payback points. Till to date they have not refunded my points and my vacation was wasted so i had to return home. After that i told them to reimburse my car rental bills. They told me to submit the bills that i did submit but than also still they are reviewing as if it was a million dollar refund. Still i am waiting for my car rental refund and payback points.

I searched a flight ticket from Indore to Pune, it shows N no, of results & i relied on my search, the time of booking & Payment still i was assuming that my search & the results I entered was correct. But confirmation mail said i booked from Pune to Indore, which was not my search, I called customer care & all but not responded says we'll forward ur call to concerned Dept... I cancelled my booking with in 10 to 15 mins, I got only Rs. 608 & my booking was for 5708 Rs...

Not a reliable website for travel...

I had very recently booked a ticket from makemytrip.
At the time of booking there was an offer on HDFC bank card of cash back.

While booking my ticket it said when I had entered the code it said that the amount would be refunded at a later stage.

I did my booking but that amount was not refunded.

When I contacted them they took almost 1.3 months time and then said that the code was not entered.

If the code was not entered I guess they just have to check and that could have been clear in 2 mins, but for the same they took so much time and told me the same after I had taken the trip.

I booked a flight from Dubai to Kochi on 15th September 2015, while trying to make booking i received two times booking got failure message, but third attempt i got booking confirmation. Hence i am all set to go 22nd September 2015 evening to kochi, meanwhile i just called the Make my trip customer care to confirm about the papers which i have show in airport then only i came to understand that the booking was not done. They collected by money and all done but booking not confirmed. I didnt get any proper support to fly on same or next day, they ask me to pay again for other ticket. Till now 16th October 2015, i didnt received the refund. When i called today on 16th October 2015 they are telling i have give permission to refund then only they will give refund. Its very nice practice from make my trip.

Worst service from Make My Trip.

I write this with huge frustration with Makemytrip.com. Booked my trip from Chandigarh to Delhi with Trip insurance. It was a spicejet flight. Spice Jet canceled their flight and didn't even send an email notifying me until i logged on to my booking 10 days before departure. Called Make my trip and got routed 3 times and long waits to get the right person. Finally, got the right person and they offered flights that did't work for me. So they offered a refund on the ticket. I asked them to initiate an insurance claim as i had trip protection. I was told that not to worry, we will refund your insurance money too. It was the most stupidest insurance i ever heard of.

Your insurance will be refunded when there will be a claim. Insurance is used to support your claims in unseen circumstances specially when an airlines cancels the flight days before the departure. I re-booked my trip through another vendor, but paid twice as much on tickets because of last minute purchase.

Don't buy ticket through them, if you do, definitely don't get their bogus insurance, its a scam cuz they will refund your insurance premium rather than insuring your trip.

Staff at makemytrip is really "make-me-ripp". No aftersales support at all. They will call you 100 times a day to make payment. Once you have paid... no support what so ever. Wanted to change travel dates and wrote 10 emails made 10 calls (from Sydney!). No luck. They keep repeating same stuff all the time in spite of telling them the problem. Keep telling me to do online date change... I would not call these dumbos if online system was working!

They should change their name to CheatYouTrip.com as when their executive will sell a package by promising first class airline deluxe hotels even they'll mail these names but as you pay the advance you will get mails that the hotel has been changed the airline has been changed and they will give the worst time slots like 4.30 am if you ask for cancellation you will be informed that your deposit will be forefeited is this the way they are doing business and now they cancelled my trip but are not returning my money.
