My family has been using Yahoo Mail for many years and it has turned into the most non-user friendly web based email application out there. I'm beyond done with it! Yahoo is successfully striving to go backwards. How does one make sense of the email in my Inbox using this email platform? The format changed years ago and is absolutely useless and beyond frustrating. How about a normal chronology of my email string? Fire all of your developers and start over. Good luck.

This has to be the worst way to handle contacts. Whomever came up with this idea in your company should be fired. Total crap. The email system is not much better. If I could do an easy move I would.

Just seems like every time there's a new manager or CEO, they have to fly their "under new management" banner and make changes that amazingly make it worse every time.
It now has SO MANY ads that pop up EVERYWHERE and suck up an insane amount of CPU just to run them that it almost shuts down my computer.
They keep "adding" functions that just become annoyances.
I have had them for 20 years and am just about ready to make the switch once and for all.
Now I see why everybody else in on Gmail.

I believe the title says it all. If that were the goal of a website, yahoo would be accomplishing this with 5 stars (completely undesirable). Unfortunately, this is one of my first web addresses, so I have a lot of contacts through them. I can only believe that the reviews of progress and one of the best have been written by yahoo employees.
Yahoo is an inefficient, manipulating troller. Wish I'd never subscribed, but choices were limited back then.
Yahoo, your age is your only hope, but as you're going, you're going to die of old of it. We'll celebrate that death unless you change your sucky direction.

Unusable completely
December 11, 2019

I have been with yahoo email for more than 20 years.

Now this service is completely unusable.

Page loading takes forever. I had to refresh 6-7 times to finally move from Inbox to Sent folder.

This is completely useless.

Yahoo Mail Go To Jail
December 8, 2019

Absolute rubbish. Since the 'latest' mash up was forced on me, I can barely write anything, look at my mail, or add photos. Everytime I move the mouse to do something the Yahoo page, keeps going on and off and on and off, it then jumps to another file or exits and goes into sent or draft section.

I can't cancel a photo if i decide not to send that particular one. The list of problems is endless, and the page colours are too dark or vivid white.

I have hardly any control over it! It is worse than rubbish and I do not want to go back to Classic Mail, I want the previous set up.

Some arrogant or abjectly stupid person or persons is responsible for the plie of junk that is now Yahoo Mail. CHANGE IT.

It sucks
December 3, 2019

I hate it I'm so Ben angrier that I can't go back to the old version. If I hadn't had that email address for years I would go with google. Why would I want ads at the top of my email and notices of what I'm about to read anyway. It's not smart I hate it

Yahoo just gets worse and worse ever since they rename the service, here are some issues I have encounter.
*If you don't feel like reading, just note this: they charge $4.99 CAD /mo for live chat support.

1) Contact import is a nightmare, doesn't work 90% of the time. They also have csv export, but csv import is nowhere to be found anymore.
2) Yahoo's email server got flag as spam/bot mail from time to time. So get ready to get some complaint from your client that they cannot send/receive if they use some kind of spam-blocker.
3) Misleading link. So you have issues, and you go to help.yahoo.com. You can not find the article about what you need help with, so press contacts us. Guess what, $#*! head, there is no contact information. ONLY A PAGE THAT ASK YOU TO CHOOSE PRODUCT, and after you choose, 99.99% of the time it will just have a pop up saying "Need help signing into your account?... blah blah blah" and THAT IS IT.

Tbh, there are so many more minor things that I want to rant about, but I think you get the idea.

Yahoo was $#*!, but it was at least a piece of $#*! that is in the toilet bowl. But now it is that $#*!, the one that got smear all over the bathroom, the floor, the ceiling even ur exhaust fan.

Yahoo Email Sucks
November 27, 2019

I can't figure out why it takes up to 12 hours to receive my emails. I applied for a job and the hiring agents sent me some items to fill out and it took 10 hours to arrive. The workday was completed before I was able to respond. Second, I needed to reset my password but by the time the email arrived the time to reset my password had expired. What is the deal with Yahoo emails?

It's chronically and painfully slow to respond and takes forever (if ever sometimes) to download attached Documents, no matter how big. Adverts all over the place as well. Fed up with it and on the verge of taking the trouble to move soon if this continues. Shocking! PS. Writing this while waiting for a small file to download. Still waiting...

YAHOO MAIL SUCKS
November 17, 2019

Continually get errors when trying to forward emails to family from the App. I'm certain it has to do with their ridiculous programmer restrictions. Also they don't allow you to file your sent emails into folders, only a trash option.
I have too many file folders to start over with someone else.
YAHOO MAIL, YOU SUCK!

Like everyone else, my life is hectic, and backing up important email messages was on my list of things to do. I found Gmail to be far more usable than yahoo and switched to using it as my primary account several years ago. I would occasionally log in to yahoo to make sure it was still active. When I logged in tonight EVERY SINGLE ONE of my emails was gone even though my account was still active. I lost ALL of the emails from when I first met my husband which was devastating. I find it adding insult to injury that you have to pay $4.99 to speak to a human. Their program was terrible to use, but I can't believe their lack of morality. Hope they go down in flames.

Yahoo Pro Rip Off
October 25, 2019

After having to spend $4.99 to have my account unlocked Yahoo then starts charging me $4.99 every month for access. Then they refuse to refund my fees. They told me I would be charged a one time fee then say "Oh its in your disclosure, this is a recurring fee"
