This is the only time I ever have ordered something online when the seller would only give store credit. BEWARE. Caveat emptor. Yes, it says so on the website -- READ THE FINE PRINT. However, our order arrived two days late and was not usable, therefore, for my daughter's graduation. The package was never opened -- and sent back immediately. Yet Lucy in the Sky refuses to give a refund. Don't take the risk and give them your money. Every other online retailer gives you 21 - 30 days minimum to get a full refund for unworn clothing.
I still have not received an order I placed over two months ago. I have contacted customer service multiple times, and each time they promise a ship date that does not happen. They have offered to give me store credit to wait for the order instead of canceling it, but then they will go back on the amount they initially told me and offer me less. I have asked why they offer me less, since everything is in email and I can see what they said, and they ignore the questions. Other than that, the quality is barely decent, and the sizing is so off that you'll probably have to reorder a dress multiple times just to find the right size. Don't bother with them.
Edit: They finally acknowledged my question about why they would not give me the store credit they initially said they would give me. However, they are now refusing to give me any store credit. It is extremely frustrating considering my order is over 2 months late, and they were the ones who offered the store credit in the first place. I don't know if this is just their customer service being rude because they are petty and mad that I keep reaching out about my order (again, that is TWO MONTHS late), or if this is just always how they are. Please do not order from this company, they are so unprofessional and I promise you can find better quality clothes for the same price.
First off, I ordered a Large Lavender Party Dress with Sequence. What I received was a low quality plain pink dress in a MEDIUM. Clearly not the right order. I emailed them about this and the options on how to deal were a JOKE. First, a 10 dollar store credit? For a Dress that was at LEAST 20 dollars LESS than the one I ordered? I LOSE MONEY DOING THAT. Second, a full refund if you return the dress. Understandable, EXCEPT the website is so bad I have tried to reset my password THREE TIMES and instead of getting an email about what my new password is, it ONLY tells me that it has changed, not even disclosing what it even is. How am I supposed to return it if I can't even get into my account? Would give zero stars on service. I want the dress I ordered or my money back why is it MY responsibility to deal with YOUR mistake?

Be warned. Return policy for this ONLINE ONLY retailer is store credit only! And the credit only lasts 6 months! Just dirty. Should be able to stand behind their products. Will never use them again.
I ordered my dress in April, its mid June and have not received it. Their customer service gave me 2 bs guaranteed dates, but the dress was never even shipped out. Then they kept saying I need to wait. It's 3 months and I needed it for an event. Horrible customer service and still haven't received my refund.
I bought to items and one was cancelled even before it was sent. The one we got it was right in the size and beautiful, but the cancellation have not been paid back. So, even though the clothes is nice, be careful not to lose your money.
I recommend only buying from this store from their two-day delivery option and if you need an XS. I bought a prom dress from here that I was expecting a couple of days before the event. Similar to many people here, my order got delayed a week before the event. I was frustrated because I ordered a month in advance and asked them if my order would be delayed a couple of weeks after I ordered to which they said no. I was planning to write a seething review. However, I switched out my dress to one that I could order in two days(they allowed me to switch my order after I complained). I honestly still like my first dress better but the dress I switched to is nice as well. The quality is great for the price and this shop is one of the few where they have good options for my size. Overall, I have a dress and that's enough for me.
This dress will make you feel fun and girly... if you looking for a super cute dress you should try this one., it is the best look to go for a graduation day. It's a great mix for parties and graduations.

I have never had so many issues with an online store in my life. I ordered 2 dresses over 2 months ago. I did not like one of the dresses and returned it to them. I never got a confirmation that they received the return nor did they issue my money back. I had to go out of my way to email them and wait 2-3 days for a reply.
I have been waiting on the second dress, never told me why it was taking so long so I had to go out of my way AGAIN to email them. Never received a tracking number or anything. They NOW told me that they have a massive back order, and would like to issue me my refund. I need to buy a dress this week and still havent received my money back.

I ordered a dress for graduation on May 9th, a month and a week before my I needed it. The website told me it'd be delivered between May 22nd-June 2nd. June 3rd hits and I start getting worried because it hasn't shipped. I email the company support and they tell me it'll be delivered by June 12th (4 days before I need it). They also give me a $25 store credit. June 13th hits, still no update still no dress. I email them yet again, they tell me it'll be shipped between June 18th-June 30th. Mind you I ordered this a month and a week in advance. Today is now June 15th, the day before I would've worn it. Still hasn't shipped. I had to cancel the order. Extremely upset with the customer service and shipping. Will never order from here again.
I ordered 3 items two months before my trip. The items never arrived by expected date. I reached out to them and said the items will definitely ship within the next week. Only one item arrived within that week. When I reached out again, they said the other two items are on back order now and I was never notified until I emailed them. If I never reached out, they would have never shipped anything and just would have taken my money. My daughter ordered the cora ruffle white romper from lucy in the sky and the coral ruffle cream romper from princess polly on may 19th. Today its June 13th and not word from lucy in the sky. The white outfit she wanted to wear for graduation, which is four days away. Princess pollys romper arrived three weeks ago. Not word on her white romper. Graduation is in 3 days. I told her to cancel the order. I handle shipping for my company and after she told me about the shipping, I know she would not get her outfit for 30-45 days. It said DHL/FedEx. This means it begins as an international order. DHL then delivers to the nearest fedex ground terminal for departure or delivery. They do NOT have most of their items in a warehouse. The clothes are being produced in a sweatshop and directly shipped to the customer. They are a very unorganized dropshipper at best.

This website is definitely my go-to when looking for something to wear for events. I highly recommend ordering from this store.
Second time ordered dresses for my daughter. She got compliments on both dresses. Site was easy to use. Shipment was prompt.
I bought three dresses from Lucy in the Sky. One was a pink dress where the straps cut into my collarbones and left marks that lasted days. It was not comfortable at all. The second was a white sequins dress that was see through around the top half of dress. There was no second layer of frabic around the top area like the bottom half had. The lack of having a second layer underneath the sequins on top half caused my upper body to itch. I'll have to sew fabric into the top half to wear it.
The third dress was super comfortable navy blue dress with a beautiful broze floral pattern on it. It was stunning until I cleaned it and the majority of the floral pattern flaked off. Not so stunning anymore. Might be able to get the pattern completely removed but for a 50 to 60 dollar dress I expect the pattern to last the lifetime of the dress. The dresses are pretty low quality for the price. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
