If i could give this company a 0 star rating i would. Every single time i have ordered a dress from their website it has given me an expected DELIVERY date. This time my delivery date was may 12. Well, guess what? May 12th happened and I never received a shipping email. I emailed their help email and they said my dresses would be now SHIPPED on june 3rd. I bought these dresses weeks prior to may 12 for my graduation in june. They constantly say they received higher volume customers on their websites, but when i order clothes mid october when there are no occasions, they still use that excuse. I will never be buying from this website again unless i have months to wait for my dresses.

Dress review

I ordered two dresses, one blue with sequins and one red with ruffles. The blue one was poor quality material and the red one was very short. I emailed them in regards of sending me a return label to return one of the dresses and they gave very unhelpful advice. Overall would never order from here again.

Do not order from this company. The dress was so short my daughter isn't even tall and they will only give a story credit. They wanted a picture of her in the dress to determine whether or not it was too short for her, even though I already mailed it back in the time allotted.

Do not shop here

Lucy in the Sky is a terrible business that I will never order from again. To begin, their sizing is terrible. They make their sizes for girls that are size zeros; absolutely no size inclusivity. Furthermore, they have dresses that are made to order and it is not noted on their website- resulting in a significantly longer ship time than other dresses. Their dresses are also VERY see through. I chatted a customer service representative and she was no help at all in resolving the issue of shipping time. The woman in customer service even cancelled my entire order which was very unprofessional because she was not happy with my criticisms about the store and their customer service. I advise those reading this to not order from this store and support other shops instead.

This is an awful store. Three times I have tried to order something from them and every time I end up canceling the order. The first time my daughter ordered something for homecoming and the arrival time promised was 2 weeks before homecoming. Then it never shipped. The second time was a dress for Christmas. We ordered it 6 weeks before Christmas. Never came. This last time was her birthday. We ordered a dress 2 months before. The estimated arrival time was a month before her birthday. When that date arrived I contacted them and they told me "I have checked it out myself and we can definitely confirm that these styles will finally ship by the 6th of May". Today is the 6th. I reach out and I get a message "I have checked it out myself and we can definitely confirm that these styles will finally ship by the 28th of May". This is crazy! I will never ever order something from them. And to top this off, the refund takes 2 weeks "to show". My guess is I will have to reach back out about that too! Don't shop there ever!

This company messed up my order and didn't go out of their way at all to fix it. My dress said it would be here by May 10th and I asked 5 days ago for a confirmation of that after waiting 2 weeks and they confirmed it and now are telling me it won't even ship till May 27th. They were not helpful at all and would not offer many any accommodations on over night shipping, they wouldn't send me a dress more expensive unless I paid for the whole thing, and every single style that I tried to change it with was apparently still in production. Their time frames are a complete lie so if you're expecting the dress when it says, add 2 more weeks to that time frame. This company has the worst customer service that I have ever seen. Do better!

I order one dress a month ago. It was supposed to come this weekend and I heard nothing from the brand. Just that they received my payment. No shipping info, no labels. I started to get a lil nervous so I messaged them on their website and they told me OOP actually its going to take three more weeks. I was fuming. I told her I wanted to cancel my order and receive in store credit. She said she would cancel it, then when I asked AGAIN about in store credit, she said now that we cancelled it we can't give you credit. $#*!tiest experience I have ever had online shopping. DO NOT support this jank $#*! brand.

LONG STORY SHORT I WOULD HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND IF I HADN'T REACHED OUT THE FOUR TIMES THAT I DID. And I still haven't received the refund. They are a definite scam.

Hello,
I am hoping to get in touch with a manager in regards to an order I placed on March 14,2022.
Order # 2*****. The delivery date stated my item would arrive on March 23rd. When I still hadn't received my order in April I reached out only to be told that the item that I had already paid for is no longer available. I never received an email on this and would have never known had I not reached out. The person I was chatting with started the refund process and I received an email confirmation of this, but I still have yet to receive the refund. I chatted with someone again this morning and she apologized for the continual delays and how drawn out the process has been and had to issue the refund yet AGAIN. So now I am stuck waiting an additional 2-3 business days. I honestly do not trust I will actually receive my refund, as I never would have been told I would receive one in the first place had I not continually reached out.
Is this how your business usually handles these situations? I was genuinely excited to purchase from you and support the business but unfortunately will never order from your site again nor recommend it.
Can you please confirm that my refund will hit this week? If it does not I will have to dispute that charge entirely and am hoping it does not get to this point.

My daughter ordered four dresses from Lucy in the Sky so that she could try them all and pick one for prom. It turned out, however, that Lucy in the Sky doesn't give refunds -- only store credit -- so now we are stuck with having bought four prom dresses. What a terrible, lousy, ridiculously-out-of-date policy! Don't buy there!

Order Never Came!

HORRIBLE customer service. I ordered 2 shirts for my bachelorette party that I needed for a theme and they never arrived. I ordered 2 months in advance and the expected delivery date was 25 days before I needed it. Fine right? NOPE. Expected delivery date came and went. I reached out via email (this company has no phone number to actually speak to someone go figure) and all I got were vague "it's delayed" answers. One week before my bachelorette I finally canceled the order and was refunded. Horrible experience. Too bad because the shirt looked cute and was exactly what I needed for the theme. But I will never order from this store again and do not recommend.

Do not order from this place if you need anything by a specific date. They keep postponing saying they had an influx of orders. You'd think they'd have a decent POS to track and estimate properly. 1 week before the event we got notified of a one month delay

Clothes ugly in real life

I don't know what to say. I ordered an outfit for a very big festival (which I'm sure everyone is aware of) and will be returning it. It was my mistake for relying on them because now I'm stuck with wearing just whatever I already have. What they show the models wearing on the website is 100% NOT what you're getting. The material is cheap & it's just badly made. To top it off, the material felt so uncomfortable and itchy on my skin. Waiting for somebody to tell me this is a sick joke. Now I'm gonna be stuck with store credit for a store I want nothing to do with anymore.

Don't give them a dime of your money

I absolutely adore their dresses I think they're so cute, but I won't ever shop here again and selfishly I don't think anyone else should either. I ordered my graduation dress on April 4th, my graduation is May 15, so I ordered with plenty of time. It said the expected delivery was April 13-22. Nowhere on the site did it say this was back-ordered or out of stock. I just chatted them yesterday (April 18) and asked if everything was okay considering I never even got a shipping confirmation email. They told me that because the dress was out of stock, it won't be shipped out until May 6.? First of all, nobody told me. I had to ask THEM to learn that this was going on I didn't get any sort of updates. Second, like I said, nowhere did it say out of stock, so I don't know how that happened. So already 2 faults. Then I chat someone again today and ask them if there's any possibility that I would be eligible for a refund to my original payment (since they only take store credit), if the dress didn't fit, since they already screwed up my order. The lady didn't answer me for 15 minutes, and then finally just said "we're refunding your order now etc.", then disconnected from the chat. She didn't ask for my permission, confirmation, nor did I even say that anywhere. Then I had to chat another person, since she ended ours, and explain to them the situation. They said that cancellations are non-reversible. I explained how the lady didn't ask me, she didn't communicate with me, and I had nothing to do with it, and still "cancellations are non-reversible". So now I'm left dressless only a couple weeks before graduation, knowing damn well every site is sold out of grad dresses. Also, the absolute ONLY thing she offered me in return for all their mistakes was a 25$ credit to use AFTER I replace the order for my dress. So not only would I have to reorder my dress without even getting refunded for the cancellation yet, I wouldn't get to even apply this credit to my order. It would only be granted to me afterwards. And idk if any of you have been on lucy in the sky but there are very little things you can get for 25$. Sorry that this was a novel but I hope it helps you

I ordered a dress and on the site it said it'd come 6 days later. I never got a follow up tracking ID after 6 days. I contacted them on live chat and they told me my order would arrive in three days and I would receive a tracking ID but still never did. I contacted them again and they said my order will now be delivered in three weeks. This is ridiculous. They also blamed it on "backlog" but their site clearly states delivery times. I also paid for expressing shipping.

Bad sizing

Nice quality clothing and really cute items, but the sizing is very off. I got a size large and im usually between Medium and large, but the large barely fit me. I had to keep it because it was for a sweet 16 court but they should make their large fit more like a large usually does. Very short and very tight.

I ordered a white dress for my college graduation and what showed up was a dress with a blue tinge and sparkles all over it. It looks like something a five year old would wear (obviously not their target market). The material was Shein quality and not at all worth the price point. I reached out to their sales team for a refund, but they told me they only do store credit even though I explained my situation. I'm extremely disappointed that they couldn't accommodate my needs especially because I'm a college student and I'm just looking for a dress.

I ordered my prom dress from this site weeks ago, and when I bought it it said the dress would deliver with plenty of time before my prom. After a few weeks of hearing nothing from the site, I contacted customer service only to find out that there were shipping delays I was unaware of and that my dress would now deliver after my prom date. They did not once communicate this delay and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't asked them. Do not trust the day it says it will be delivered by.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I ordered a dress for my bachelorette. I told them I needed it nay a certain date and it was promised in email and online when I purchased it, that it would arrive in time. I hadn't received a tracking number for 3 weeks and started to worry, I reached out to the company. They said there was a production delay and told me it wouldn't arrive for another two weeks. They said I could find another dress to exchange it with. All of their dresses wouldn't arrive in time, since we were three weeks closed to my bachelorette. I expressed the stress they caused and they did nothing to solve the problem. I would've never ordered from this site if I would have known how awful their process was. DO NOT BELIEVE THE DATE YOU SEE BEFORE YOU CHECK OUT! I now have four days to find a dress due to this business.
