Meriden, CT. Customer had nasty dog running LOOSE, all over the store. Clerks kept fawning over it, chasing it for fun, petting it, ignoring us. This was NOT a service dog. WE LEFT. NO SALE. WE WERE READY TO PURCHASE refrigerator that day. Dog guy purchased a mousetrap. Sales clerk was named Nigel.

Be careful when you shop at Lowe's they charge your credit card double for same items,check your list before you pay, if you call they don't wana check your transaction, cameras or return your money over phone.You have to drive back with all buy even if you live 20-30 minutes away, and even if you had truck full of bricks they don't give damm. And when you do come back waste money for gas and 3 hours of time, satle refund, they tell you will take 10 days to get money back. 😡😡 So unprofessional.If you not rich that you can ignore extra charges for nothing or if you speak broke English Don't because if you call with broken English accent, they just tell you they don't understand come to store and hang up on you.

Went to lowes to buy a washer and dryer. Wrote a check the I hope Mike goes to helln decided I did not want to deal with them. I cancelled the order must have left check behind I told the I did not want the appliances this week I receivek
From a collection agency that the guy at lowes turned in my check and sold it to a collection agency which means they expect me to pay for his thievery I am so tired of being treated like this. This is how old women are often treated

They don't return calls. My 3 year old GE dishwasher with an extended warranty hasn't been fixed in three weeks. They don't return phone calls. They don't honor the service contract.

I got a notice from my bank this morning that Lowes had tried to pass a large charge through my checking account.

I ordered a refrigerator on November 17 and got an approval for a buy now pay later loan through Synchrony Lowes bank. I never received any information about Synchrony account such as an account number or any type of log-in information. I received a notice for a delivery reschedule for January 5. Apparently the refrigerator shipped from who knows where yesterday so Lowes was able charge me. Now here is the kicker, Synchrony will not pay on invoices that are for orders older than 30 days. When the fridge was backordered I was not notified of the looming credit issue. So Lowes tried to get the money out of my checking.

After spending three hours on the phone and online customer service, I talked to 11 people, I was able to figure out what the problem was. I can't be the only person who has had this issue. Bottom line is Lowes could/would not issue credit for the order. The best they could offer was to cancel my current order and have me go through the credit application/purchase all over from the beginning which would probably end up in another backorder. I cancelled the order.

I am upset by the total lack of communication from Lowes regarding the credit issue since the purchase. I am upset about the overdraft charge from my bank. I am upset about having to live out of a mini fridge since Nov. 17 and essentially be in the same predicament I was then. I can't believe Lowes is aware of the Synchrony policy and hasn't done anything to work it out.

Then there is Lowes customer service. The AI system would more appropriately be called artificial stupidity and made it very difficult to contact to a human. The human agents were undertrained and forwarded me into oblivion and wrong departments. I was finally able to get somewhere through Synchrony because I have another account there. What a colossal waste of time.

Worst of all. There is refrigerator floating around the Lowes system with my name on it and they can't figure out how to get it to me. What a bunch of morons. You can't even send them an EMAIL to complain.

Warranty

I bought,what I thought,was an extended warranty for my washer in 4/21, to expire in 4/25.Looked at specifics of warranty before purchase.Was informed,after questioning Lowe's when they emailed me about upcoming expiration, that extra warranty I bought runs concurrent w/manufacturers.Concurrent not specified in warranty statement & could be easily misconstrued.Spoke w/assoc.,informed her of warranty wording, on a fixed income & unable to purchase additional $300 warranty being offered but was still unable to get that additional yr.Will avoid shopping there.

So, we went to the store in Killeen TX to purchase pressure washer and right from product help and checkout was awesome. The gentleman that helped us get the pressure washer was honest and straight forward with us. Also the lady at the checkout her name is Neomia as well also was jovial and easy going also helped us with the checkout as well as saving money. I usually don't do reviews too much but I promised her that I will definitely do that. Neomia we appreciate your service and continue doing what you doing.

Horrible customer service/Protection Plan

On 11-22-23 my compressor went out on my refrigerator. I called Lowe's protection plan and filed a claim. I purchased with Lowe's.The refrigerator is a Whirlpool Wrt311fzdb Wp 20.5-cu Ft Wrt311fzdb my compressor was out on 11/22/2023. I filed two claims one for the refrigerator and one for food lost.The service provider they sent JDS was also horrible. They did not come out until 11/30/2023 and I was told that was because they were waiting on a compressor. However that was just another lie. When the service provider came he stated that Lowe's did not approve the clam and then JDS canceled my claim. I called Lowe's back and was given another service provider however that company does not fix compressors. I was told that someone would contact me on December 1,2023 and that never happen. I called on December 2nd and I told them per my plan I'm to get a replacement cost of my refrigerator and was told it would take 2 business days. By now it has been a total of 6 business days still no reimbursement or a refrigerator. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well and getting an attorney regarding this matter.No one should not have to go throw this. I will never purchase anything else at Lowe's. This has caused me significant inconvenience and has resulted in eating out which I hate. My family and I are use to home cooked meals.

Got Hustled At My Age

"Operating efficiently, ethically and responsibly" is Lowes joke to it's customers.

I started off with this because the experience of purchasing a washer from Lowes has me aware of the wrong direction you all Core Values are steadily taking.

I purchased a Whirlpool 2 in 1 Washer based off the Dept's personnel who I had to wait over an hour on. I set out to get the Samsung, but because of the length of time I had to wait, I entrusted he knew what he was speaking of.

The purchase of this washer went from 798 dollars to 900 dollars plus. This included the sale pitch of if I wanted them to deliver it and set it up, I had to purchase new accessories. I was never told that I had only 48 hours for a return, exchange, or refund. For if I was made aware, most definitely I would have washed something in attempting to try it out.

When the machine washes, it is loud! I gave up a 5 star washer on it's last leg for a 1 star as far quality. You can hear every stage of it washing. Why is it the Appliance Rep don't know this? Or do they?

For Lowes to take the stance of only 48 hr for appliance returns the business performance, quality, ethics, and sense of responbility (to include the employees and staff knowing their products and job description) has to at least be close to being dress right dress: and it's not.

The entire situation makes me feel like Lowes and it's employees hustled me out of my hard earned 1000 dollars... which is why as a whole, Lowes should at least compromise.

Do not go to Lowe's for home windows. We have had nothing but problems. This is our worst nightmare. The minute they got my payment they walked away and no longer cared. They always blamed someone else, installers, etc. for everything. No follow up. I can not get the installers to finish the job. This has gone on for over 6 months. Just a nightmare. Stay away.

Don't buy

This is absolutely the worst place to by appliances. Lowes in beechgrove indiana and as company do not care about your purchase. We spent 3k on appliances and the delivery people couldn't be bothered, it was a mess lazy people and customer service is a joke we have a fridge sitting garage because lowes won't find a tech to take doors off for 2 days now unbelievable company

LOWES ---- I purchased the refrigerator online, very clearly the online date stated November 15th, I haven't had a refrigerator in 2 weeks. I called Lowe's and spoke with a lady in a certain department, that is in charge of the shipping / customer service. I mentioned to her, my mom just got out of the hospital, i have some of her medications that needs to be refrigerated, and my fridge just broke down, i gave her the order number so she can see the purchase i had just made. Anyway i asked her, if it would it be possible, if i paid extra, to get it delivered earlier than November 15th, she said she couldn't, which i understood, i told her i would just put the medications in my neighbors fridge. Today 11/14/23 I get a call from Lowe's and this person tells me "Your refrigerator will not be on the truck till Wednesday 11/15/2023, hence you will not get it till 11/16/2023".I told the person, that this was absolutely terrible customer experience, he acted like he didn't care, and there is nothing he could do, i asked if i could speak to someone, i was transferred to a Debbie, she was very understanding but at the same time, mentioned their transportation was a third party, this was who their corporate office decided to do business with and there is nothing she could do either. I can't even get a two hour window, i have to wait from 10am to 10pm for my fridge to be delivered on 11/16/2023. Lowes you should you be ashamed of yourself and the way you treat your customers. Not worth even given 1 star, but had to or it was not letting me post the review. I will never buy from you again. You guys are liars. I should have looked at the reviews to see how you guys lie about your shipping.

I bought a Whirlpool dryer when the delivery guys dropped it off and set it up started it and it was defective wouldn't work properly. They left the broken down dryer and said another would be delivered 4 days later. I called Lowe's customer service and they said I can always buy a new one? Why would I waste money on a new one if the iorigjnal one I bought was new! Makes no sense … complete rip off!

Credit issue

Lowes will drop your credit limit without telling you due to your credit score changes, never heard a company approve for a certain amount of credit then take it away and didn't give it back when your score changes. Lowes, Best Buy and Home Depot all use Citi bank for credit. I have credit with all three and Lowes is the only one drop my credit which made me to switch to Home Depot who I now give my service to. I hate Lowes done shopping with them

Bought a freestanding tub to find out in the middle of installing, found a chip on the edge of the tub on the bottom. Uninstalled it anf brought it back to Lowe's Clarksville, tn. Got money back and reordered another tub on line. Tub was a couple of days late and workers were installing it when they unwrapped edge of tub and again found a scratch inside and cracked and broken edge of tub. Was able to talk to manager of Lowe's, Clarksville, tn Lowe's Dr. She offered 50% discount for having workers come 2 days of work that we paid for. We are very happy with the outcome.

Beyond the call of duty

I was looking at the display of extension ladders at the Albany Lowe's, when approached by an employee in his 50s or 60s who asked if I needed help. I said I needed a 24-foot ladder, and thought one with a fiberglass frame (but aluminum steps) would be lighter than an all-aluminum one. He assured me it was the other way around, and he was right! I then mentioned that I'd buy the 24-foot aluminum one, but I'd have to come back for it with a trailer because there was no way it would fit into my car, and it didn't have a rack on top. He then asked me where I lived, which was maybe 10 or 12 blocks from the store, and said he would deliver it himself, in his pickup, when he got off work at 2. And he promptly did! Wouldn't take any money for doing it, either! His name was Todd Braniff, and he's the type of man who may help restore our faith in America.
PS. - Sitejabber is demanding that I provide proof of purchase. That's too complicated.

Terrible

Placed an order online and they sent the washing machine to South Carolina and the dryer to New York. Both were supposed to be sent to South Carolina. Then after 45 minutes on the phone to cancel the New York order they said I had to repurchase the dryer separately and I could not receive the $50.00 bundle discount even though I originally bought them as a bundle. A manager could not understand that to keep a satisfied customer they should reinstate the bundle discount. I will NEVER order from Lowes again. Terrible customer service. Terrible overall experience.

I bought a new dishwasher last week. It was delivered Friday 10/13 around 4pm. Over the weekend I set it up, to find it would not work and was running an error code. After a bit of troubleshooting, the error code states there is an issue with the motherboard on the unit. I called lowes.com at 8:30am on Monday 10/16 to report the issue and ask to exchange the unit for one that functions. I was told I should have called during the weekend since their 48 hour policy for returns is not business hours. Now I'm being forced to wait for the manufacture to send a repair person to confirm what I've told them. It will take 3 weeks for the repair person to get here and we will most likely have to wait a few more days after that for lowes to replace the broken unit they sold me. Meanwhile, I do not have a functioning dishwasher, my kitchen is ripped apart waiting for the repair person, and I'm hand doing dishes for the next month. I was told had I called Sunday afternoon they would have had no issue replacing it, but because I waited until Monday morning they will not. Thank you for absolutely nothing lowes.com, all I asked for was you to replace the broken dishwasher you sold me...
