This company takes your money and then doesn't send you your movies! You will end up waiting several weeks, they won't send you a confirmation email, they won't respond to your phone calls, they won't respond to your emails, you won't get your movies, and you will have to open a dispute with your credit card company, and probably have new cards issued. Definitely not worth the hassle for nothing. DON'T GET TEMPTED AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. JUST READ ALL OF THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY. ALSO THEY PAY PEOPLE TO WRITE GOOD REVIEWS FOR THEM ON THE INTERNET; here is the text of their offer email: "Hello, We are asking select customers to take some time to write a nice review for us on Reseller Ratings. If you are able to do this and send us the link to your review we will send you a $14.99 coupon for a public domain movie of your choice!"

Placed an order on August 20,2015. As of October 1,2015 have not received anything. Telephone calls are answered by a recorder and messages left are not answered. E-mailing the company also does not produce any response. Having now ordered from these people, I'm finding out that they have an extensive history of complaints. The number of complaints has increased SIGNIFICANTLY in the last 30-45 days. If this trend continues, I think it highly likely that this company will close up in the near future. The death knell is going to ring soon once the credit card companies catch up with the problems. I know American Express does not fool around with merchants that do not perform.

The first time I ordered from these people was a few years ago, the movie took 1 month to ship and no response to repeated emails, I thought I would never get the order.
The second time I ordered in June 2015 (I figured the first order wait time was a fluke and I gave them another chance), well forget it, the orders (2) took well over 2 months to arrive and again no response to emails. I will NEVER deal with them again because if I do, I will probably be dead before the movies arrive. Besides isn't it illegal to charge your card well in advance before you ship an item with no "heads up" if something is on backorder?

This is a very good site for all those who love to watch classic Hollywood movies, anyone looking for classics will not have to look any further to get their copies as Loving the Classics has a great collection of movies in their inventory. What I like about the website is that I ordered a few classic Hollywood movies a few weeks ago, and one of them was kinda hard to find. But loving the classics can actually look for any movie if they do not already have it with them. This is great for people who are dying to watch some of the classic Hollywood movies but aren't able to find em.

All I want to say is the website Lovingtheclassics.com is one of the best sites I have come across, it has loads of classic movie titles on its list and comes at a very cheap price as compared to the other online websites. Another thing is that I received the package without any problems and in the given time too, which was just awesome. I was looking for a movie (Catlow) when I stumbled upon this website (www.LovingtheClassics.com). The website deals in the Hollywood Classics and has quite an impressive catalog. The nav bar is nice and easy. I really like the selection by genres which made the whole process easy. VERY NICE!

Its been a few weeks since I made a purchase from the site so I thought Id just write a few lines on it. So, I received the items I purchased within the given time period too. (something of a shock these days!). The print of the movies were also very good and crystal clear, something that I was having doubts in when ordering, reason is, I have made purchases of classic Hollywood movies over the internet in the past and was badly let down by the service quality and the picture, which did not at all live up to all those sites were boasting of.

I found Lovingtheclassics.com is much better. The website loaded quite fast too. Just one thing I would suggest is to reduce the size of the images on the home page. It just seems to be a bit too big. Overall I found the website lovingtheclassics.com to be good and trustworthy.

I am a big movie buff so I decided to get a few classics online. Because of my not-so-good experience of using some of the websites (like, classicflix and OOPflix) in the past to make a purchase, I thought I'd try another site, LovingtheClassics.com. I must say, unlike the other websites I have tried out in the past, the quality of my purchased items from LovingtheClassics.com has been uniformly high, and so has the delivery, which I am very happy with.

It's just that they have great service along with a great classic movie catalog that has just been a good experience as compared to others and have no reservations about buying movies from LovingtheClassics.com in future as well!

One thing I'm not sure of is, why are there any negative comments for Lovingtheclassics.com. For those who have not yet hooked up with the site, Lovingtheclassics.com is a great website if you are into watching classic Hollywood films in excellent picture quality. I have been a long time customer of the website and I have always been very satisfied with their service. I placed an order just recently on the website, which was for a dozen or so classic movies, so, yes I was a bit nervous, but I got my order before I expected them to arrive, which I was very impressed with. The delivery person was extremely courteous too.

So based on my personal experience, LovingtheClassics.com provided me with first class service, so I thought it would only be right to make my experience in dealing with the website known, since I have read a couple of absurd comments, that are obviously bogus.

Just saw the last of the movies I ordered (all in excellent print, by the way!). So my verdict is, loved the shopping experience, because of the easy selection menu that can easily be compared to the high end classic movie websites, but minus the roof touching price. I am a huge fan of Patrick Swayze and the movie Dirty Dancing, so when I heard that it was being shown at the theater screens at the mall I got crazily excited, but that excitement was short lived, because the place was just crazy crowded and to make things even worse, it was on "the Voice" night, so standing in line to wait for my turn was just out of the picture for me. Then someone told me about Lovingtheclassics.com, a website that allows you to purchase classic movies online. So, I had a look-see. Initially I was dubious over the claims of the website, but then again I am always that way, especially when I have to use my credit card over the internet. But I must say, Lovingtheclassics.com has a great collection of titles that is enough to satisfy the appetites of those seeking out something other than the usually Hollywood blockbusters.

This means no more long lines to wait in and no worries of being turned away. Not only did I easily find the movie I was looking for, but picked up some other titles even I had forgotten about (Awesome). Also, shipping is a huge factor when purchasing anything online, so I have been extremely pleased with the speed of their shipping. There is a fee, but it's definitely worth it!

Well, this website (Lovingtheclassics.com) is good enough to make me cry. I have spent a lot of hours at stores and prior to the emergence of the websites dealing in classic Hollywood cinema, et al. But I found LovingtheClassics.com, the best place, by far, when it comes to getting the best of classic movies with great prints. That being said, it is painfully evident that the website has entered the arena a bit too late with some other well oiled websites being around for some time now; however, Lovingtheclassics.com is one of those websites that you just feel like they are doing what the others are doing a bit better. The procedures and rules around their service is a bit more rigid than I would have liked, but at the end of the day, they just provide better service (not to mention, better quality prints) than any similar service.

When you call the support staff, they will freely admit that it is a known problem and not try to make you feel like a complete idiot. For any kind of real classic movie lover, a look back into the glorious history of film should definitely start with LovingtheClassics.com.

I am not at all unhappy with this website. In fact, I expect to be using it more often for the reasons I highlighted in the above section. I will rate this website with '4 stars out of 5' meaning "it's pretty good" but I hope that it will be even more better than it already is. Keep up the good work guys.
