They ripped me off. I paid for an order totaling more than $100 and they kept using alias names in e-mails telling me the orders would ship. Only when I spent half a day to track down who their real name was and contact them through Facebook did I finally get any real response. They promised to send a refund immediately and confessed they did not have any of the titles they advertised in their inventory. If you want to contact the company that hosts their website, here is the e-mail of their website provider. Maybe if enough e-mails report the problem, something will be done about it. Seems the Better Business Bureau won't do anything but classify the company as an F rating. *******@dynadot.com
I placed an order and over a month later it has not been received. No one answers the phone. I called and left messages twice and no return call was received. It is obvious that my money is down the drain. There are companies that do not charge the customer until shipment is made. Unfortunately, this company is not one of them. It is a ripoff.
I have dealt with a number of companies/individuals selling public domain programs and LovingTheClassics.com (LTC) is the worst one and I wish I had read the reviews and read their policies before I ordered from them.
First, the site claims that all items are in-stock but what they don't tell you is that they can take up to TWO weeks to tell you if it's in-stock, out-of-stock or on back-order.
Second, If you read carefully, their AVERAGE ship time is two weeks but they can take up to a month just to ship out your order. I've dealt with one man operations that ship faster than one month.
Third, if after all that time you find out that there is a problem with your video, you have to contact them to get authorization from them to return the video - at your expense for their faulty product. Now that is not so unusual but we're talking about a small company here. Notice how they use an earthlink.net email address. That's a sign of a small operation. No large company is going to use an earthlink address as their main contact point. So why is such a small company making you jump through hoops just to get a refund or replace a disc that they produced as faulty?
Like I said, I've dealt with a number of sellers of classic/public domain programs and there is something very wrong here. The scattered 5 star ratings here seem fake as one even claims that there product came quickly. 2-3 weeks is not a quick delivery. I would avoid this company based on their own policies and procedures because there is no reason why a company can't tell you what the status of your order is before two weeks go by. No legitimate company operates that way. That should be a red flag right there and I wish I had read them before I ordered.
Everything negative everyone says is true. They have a great assortment of hard to get movies but they're called hard to get because it's hard to get your order filled with Loving the Classics. It took me over one year of emails back and forth to finally get most -- not all -- of my order filled. Most gray market (you know what that really means) outfits keep master copies of the films they sell. When you order, they just burn a copy,. Not Loving the Classics. You order the film and they're out of it -- for months on end, "waiting on supplier." Crazy when they're the supplier. Some discs don't play or don't have sound. Priority shipping is a further waste of money when they don't ship your order for six months. Oh, I get my films in six months and three days. Thanks! This is a mom and pop business in way over their heads. They can't keep up with orders, have no quality control regarding their fulfillment process, don't know their left hand from their right, their head from their a***. Nothing but excuses and promises. But don't worry, they "feel your pain." And they do, all the way to the bank. Their bank. You'd have to be crazy to order anything from these flakes. Do not pin your hopes on the good reviews.
I have tried to order the Harry Lauder Song of the Road aka End of the Road (1936) five times. The first three times I was sent obscure movies that have no relation to the Lauder classic. In April and June this year my Master Card was debited but I have not received the disc and my e mails to customer service are ignored. Stay clear of this firm.
This company added $100.00 to my American Express charge even though I have an email from them for $100 less than the amount charged. Stay away from this company. I have filed a dispute with AE, so at least they won't get paid.
I was charged twice for one product. Very low quality recording and not worth the price. I regret visiting their website. NEVER AGAIN!
I ordered a movie on June 4th for Father's Day. It took over a month and a half to get the movie. The quality of the movie is terrible. It appears they are copying the movie off television. I was under the impression it was a new movie and they had it in stock. But it was not. The cost of the movie was outrageous for what I received. By the way, it did not arrive in time for father's day.
I ordered dvds that I never received... Not only that, BUT I HAVE CALLED OVER 100 TIMES and NEVER GOT AN ANSWER OR MY DVDS! SCAM COMPANY. Finally called BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and ATTORNEY GENERAL at *******515
ORDERED TW0 DVDS OVER TWO MONTHS AGO-NOTHING. HAVE SENT 11 E-MAILS, SAME RESULTS, NOTHING. WHEN I FINALLY HEARD FROM THEM (PHONE)-THEY MADE EVERY EXCUSE IN THE WORLD. SAID THEY WERE ON BACK ORDER (FUNNY-THEIR AD SAVES IN STOCK). THEIR PHONE NUMBER IN OHIO IS *******825--(HEATHER JANET). THEIR GO BETWEEN (MARGE?)- PHONE # *******335. DON'T GIVE UP ON PESTERING THEM FOR WHAT THEY STOLE FROM YOU. IT IS CALLED THEFT BY DECEPTION. KEEP ON THEM AND WE CAN JUST GET SOME JUSTICE ON THESE CROOKS.
THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL SHOULD HAVE THEM OUT OF BUSINESS. THEY ARE NO GOOD
YOU BUMS I HOPE IF THEIR IS A GOD IN THIS WORLD THAT YOU DON'T GET A WAY WITH RIPPING PEOPLE OFF BA.
I can not say enough how great the service I received. The DVD came quickly and was of fantastic quality. I am truly thankful and pleased.
On 13 march 2017 I sent back from Italy a package (nr. *******975), returning 3 DVDS bought on 20 december 2016 (order nr. *******).
The quality of the films was very low indeed and simply unacceptable. I asked a store credit for a future order, referring to the Customer Service Page on the site of the Company (Satisfaction Guaranteed). THIS SERVICE IS FAKE: I never received a confirmation. I shall sue the company for compensation.

Thank you Loving The Classics! I just received an extremely rare film that nobody, absolutely nobody had - across the entire internet. Not only have I just received the film but the quality is excellent for an obscure 70 + year old film! Remember one thing, as many of these films are almost impossible to find these boys are a busy crew and require more time than other internet sites. But good things come to those who are patient. I received my film after 5 weeks which is very reasonable for impossible to find titles in DVD.
Received requested item. Will notify others to buy from here as well. I will be back for more movies as needed.
Ordered a DVD in March. Never got the DVD. Contacted customer service and was told the movie was backordered. Asked for a refund and was told they would contact their Accounting department. Never got the refund. Sent another email and was completely ignored. Why isn't this company being investigated. They are ripping people off and getting away with it. Stay away from this place.
Ordered a dvd from Loving the Classics; amount was debited from my Paypal account but I never received a confirmation of the order. After four emails requesting confirmation, and three phone calls, I have had absolutely no response from the company confirming that I indeed have an order with them, despite the debit. Frustrated, I searched online and discovered that they have a terrible reputation. Will contact Paypal to pursue refund.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They debited my bank account 3/24/17. It is 5/12/17 and I still do not have my order. Email response is always the same. Shipping is checking the DVD's. I don't believe they have them. A monkey could check the DVD's in this amount of time.
Bought a DVD in November. Didn't arrive until 5 months later (after NUMEROUS emails were sent to the company) and then they sent me THE WRONG MOVIE!
Ordered a Greek Mythology movie and got a Mexican Western... in SPANISH!
Seriously, no refunds no help. They kept my money but I will NOT let this slide and neither should you. STAY AWAY!
My name is Charles Drew... no customer service no answer even customer service form on site doesn't work... ordered Nov 2016 never received one film no answer no refund. Terrible company
