I ordered 2 DVDs and I waited for a month or more. I tried to contact them, but no reply to E-mails. Finally I got someone on the phone and they said there was a backlog. They shipped the DVDs.
Years ago they were a legitimate outfit and shipped movies quickly, but they are now a division of another company, and apparently are either in trouble, or are now a scam. In the past year I got 2 charges from "a clothing company" that we have not bought from. The charges were identical in amount to previous long ago purchases from LTC and had the initials LTC. They were immediately disputed and refunded. So it is likely that they are now a scam, which is too bad becuase they have some very good hard to get movies.
Bonjour.
J habite en france.
J ai commande des dvd et mes commandes n arrive pas...
Que se passe t il?
I placed an order on Feb 15,2019. One boxed set of DVD's, 9 seasons of Lassie. $252. Total $256.31 with shipping. According to website they had 5 sets in stock, ready to ship. Received no email confirming order. No delivery. On March 4, I sent an email with order #, requesting order status. No response. Second email sent on March 6. No response. On March 11, I tried calling the customer service # *******619 Recording said voice mail full. Tried calling the # on home page *******335. Number is disconnected.
After reading all the other complaints on this site and others about LTC's, I went to my bank and had them refund my credit card from this stealing company, and then changed my credit card account number.
Next I will file a complaint with the BBB. Very sad. I really did want these impossible to find Lassie tv series. Next time I order from an unknown company, I will check them out first.

Update for warning. BEWARE. This company charged my Visa card in
December 2018 for the second time, and this forced me to get a new card and I
Reported them to authorities. They exhibit fraudulent behavior and have not responded
To queries. I hope appropriate authorities investigate this
Company, which probably has its base outside the US.
This company's business ethics are in need of a serious overhaul. I
Ordered a program on June 29,2018. They had no problem in charging my
Visa card within two days. As of August 19,2018, I have not received
The order nor did they ever respond to query emails and their phone
Number voice mail box was always full and unable to receive messages.
Beware. To date they have not responded. Update for warning.

Ordered a set of dvds last November 2017-have not yet received them. Have sent 3 emails asking what's happening.NO RESPONSE-not even a courtesy reply. I have ordered many dvds from different companies over many years but this the worst!
We did receive our DVDs but they were very poor quality, we had the same movies from another vendor that were much better quality, and asked if we could be sent better quality copies and never received any response.
I ordered a video a long time ago, never got it. They have continued too charge my credit card multiple times. You have been warned.
After searching the address on file for this company, I learned it does not exist. This company have been ripping off patrons for years. If you need to file a claim, please contact www.bbb.org. This company can assist you.
I ordered a DVD box set of an Australian TV series during October 2017. I am yet to receive what I ordered and it is now well over a year. I have sent many (and I mean MANY) emails to try and get this resolved and have constantly told Loving the Classics that my first preference is for the box set to be delivered or, failing that, be given a refund (the original payment was around $480 Australian, determined by the exchange rate at the time). Occasionally there seemed hope that it would be resolved but it never has been. I had a second amount of money taken out of my account ($541 Australian, again determined by the current exchange rate) which was eventually recovered as a result of a fraud investigation by my bank. Loving the Classics then attempted to take a further payment during December 2018 which was blocked by the bank. It is and has been extremely frustrating with sporadic responses, glimmers of hope and then ignored for long periods. I have submitted three complaints to the Better Business Bureau with no luck; Loving the Classics seems to ignore and take no interest in the complaints. What is also extremely frustrating is that there were five of the Box sets available on their website prior to Christmas. When I mentioned this I was totally ignored. I am absolutely dumbfounded as to how Loving the Classics survives as a business There have been two people that have tried to help and have this resolved but I have a sense that they are hamstrung by some inexplicable, unexplainable, unbusiness like weird attitude of management. I haven't given up and will keep on sending emails. I highly recommend to think deeply before ordering. It stinks of a scam.
Had I earlier seen these reviews, I would have spared myself money, anxiety, and weeks of frustration. This "company" advertises DVDs of silent classics but doesn't deliver or attempt correspondence. Their so-called "Customer Service" doesn't respond to emails or phone calls. I suspect that if they were honest, they would make some attempt to contact customers.
Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to do so. Maybe it's a generational thing. However, after two months passed, and still no order received, I sent several e-mails. Heard nothing back. Then I tried to call. I couldn't leave a message because the voice mail was full -- more than likely of complaints like my own! I actually ordered this particular DVD set because I'm working on an article about an actor who appeared in a single episode of the season I ordered. He only had about ten television appearances before his untimely death in 1960, so I was excited about being able to see this. Unfortunately, it looks like I won't be seeing it anytime soon. Fortunately, I only ordered the one item, so I'm out less than 30 bucks. I'll give them another month. If nothing by then, I'll get ahold of my bank and see if I can get a refund -- and I'll be sure to keep an eye on my account to make sure I'm not charged a second time, as several others have claimed to be.
Three years ago I ordered a dvd set for my Dad. Was charged for it but never received. The dvds were delivered a week ago. My Dad died 9 months ago. Loving The Classics sucks!
With all negative reviews I saw in these site, I was thinking I'll just loose my money and quite soon I sent a message looking for my order.
Not quickly they wrote to me explaining the delay, and I've received the two movies I have ordered.
I'm satisfied

Same deal. Wish I had checked reviews first. Placed an order in July. 2 weeks later I tried to call. Fake number. Sent several emails. Only got a reply after threatening to call bbb. They said I must have the wrong contact info ( from their website). 2 more weeks go by. Still no dvd or refund. Several more emails sent before I got a 2nd reply stating product was on its way. Today is December 5th 2018. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the credit card company. Horrible company taking advantage of seniors!
I never received my order and when I asked for a refund, I never heard from them again. Definitely a scam operation. Shame on them!
NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU THINK YOU WILL EVER NEED THE MOVIES IN A HURRY OR NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE IT WON'T HAPPEN.
Well after 6 months, my orders did arrive but, if you have read my other reviews, you will note that I asked for a refund in the form of a check BECAUSE my mom passed away four months ago and the movies were for her and were on her credit card.
The first order came with a damaged case. I sent an email to customer service to say that there was damage and to again complain that I didn't want the movies and would now like a return number to send them back (knowing full well this will never happen). Again no response to anything.
I have just given up. I guess I am now going to have 12 movie classics that will probably never be watched.
What I find interesting is that Loving the Classics has Sitejabber as their "testimonial" site! I think the testimonials are few and far between!
After my first review, I received an email from LTC. They said that they would refund my mother's credit card. However, I again advised them that in the course of ordering movies and them finally saying they couldn't provide, my mother passed away and all her credit cards and assets have been put in probate.
I asked that a check be sent in her name, to my address which is where the movies were to be delivered. I have had no response to that request even though I have sent several emails trying to confirm this nor have I received a refund. This all started when I ordered on April 19/18. My mom has been gone now three months. What a mess.
I told them if I didn't hear from LTC about a check refund I would be putting another review on sitejabber and here I am.
Fair warning. Never order a large number of films because they just can't deliver.

I placed a large order of movies for my mother. In the past I have received what I ordered so I tried to put in this large order on April 19,2018. LTC charged my mother's credit card but we are now well past 6 weeks that they say deliveries will be made and no movies have been delivered. HOWEVER, in the course of placing this order, my mother passed away. I have sent several emails to ask if the order can be cancelled and the money credited to the credit card. I have had no reply whether or not it can be cancelled and have seen nothing back on the card. All I want is an email answer!
Ordered 9th July 2018, and the funds were debited from my credit card
Within 2 days. 10+ weeks later, several emails, of which, only 1 of
Which was answered, and still no goods. Having to make a claim via my
Credit card. I order from the US very regularly, (I'm in the UK), and
This company is a disgrace. Like other customers, I am extremely
Uncomfortable with this company now having my credit card details. I
Recommend anyone having dealings with them get your card replaced asap. Would give a minus rating if I could.
UPDATE - 30th October 2018 - I put in the claim with my credit card, and despite the company saying that they would refund me, (of course, they did not do that, but thankfully I kept all the emails between us), they are actually now challenging the refund the credit card company issued me! Disgraceful!
They got me too. I did not see the reviews until it was too late. I ordered in July 2018, the money went through but no product delivery 7 weeks later. I do not feel comfortable with this company having my credit card details so my credit card company will reissue me a new credit card account.
The behavior of this horrible company is most likely associated with a drug problem. I have seen this kind of thing before and the police should get involved before more people are hurt.
August 8,2018, ordered one DVD. Despite a dozen emails and a call to a non existent number I called my bank, canceled the transaction, the bank gave me my money back.
Never a call or an email total scammers!
Answer: Hello, We just recently joined SiteJabber and saw your negative review of our company. I'm sorry we did not provide you with a good experience. Can you give me your name and/or order number so I can work with you to get this matter resolved to your full satisfaction? Thank you, Brenda
