As we all know, i ready is a pile of garbage. They make their product so unenjoyable, and their 1 and only product just sucks. The lessons in reading and math are boring, and in the reading lessons, every time you screw up on an question, it drags you into this "look for the clue" thing. It makes the lesson even longer and is a waste of time. The math lessons however, suck. They have these unappeling math characters called "plory" the orange alien thing. The math lessons have the slowed AI speech, and when you finish 3 torture lessons, you get a 5 second animated cutscene. The diagnostic test sucsk too. Like math, its boring, and in the end you work the hardest and get a 400 score. Honestly, i would have more fun programming TI-Basic than spend my 45 minutes on garbage. That is my im garbage ready review.
I hate i ready so much they waste so much time teaching us nothing at all. The lessons consists of useless methods that never like to teach the original way of doing things. The teachers who like it like it because of the stupid power points that don't even teach so then they don't have to do their job. The stupid online lessons are so cringe and try to be relatable to the point where it's a waste of time that shouldn't be spent that way. The diagnostic by the way is so dumb, my current online 'learning path' isn't my level whatsoever.
I wanted to give it a zero but that's not possible, so I give you... a one.
No, but seriously iReady is a waste of time. It hurts mental health and everyone cheats anyways so it's pointless.
Just don't do this at all. This is a straight up dumpster fire severed off of an actually good site.
This just sucks.
My son age 11 was doing iready and fainted while doing his reading lesson. All i saw for the app is that it's too plain without too much characteristic unlike other programs like ixl or reflex math there is so much difference with other students and make you want to do more.
BRO BRO DIS THING SUCKS IT TAKES LIKE 2 YEARS JUST FOR THE GOD DAMN INSTRUCTIONS AND ON THE QUIZ IF YOU QUESTION WRONG IT DOESN'T EXPLAIN WHAT YOU DID WRONG. ALSO THIS THING COST SO MUCH MONEY AND IT IS STUPIDITO. LIKE IF YOU LOOK AT MY MEDIA THING IT SAYS STUFF THAT IS VERY INACCURATE. THIS THING SUCKS I HAVE WARNED YOU NOW RUN! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE
Iready is a waste of time google said it causes stress and suicidal thoughts and this is coming from a student.
I-ready is a waste of time and a waste of money. It forces students like me to sit through these lessons with crappy characters and they don't even teach anything useful in adulthood like finance or economics. Principals! Superintendents! Teachers! Whoever you are! Don't force students to use this cause of depression.
I hate i-ready. Whenever you fail a lesson, you have to restart it and you don't get any tokens for even trying. As far as 'helping' goes, it's helping me get a worse self-esteem. I have to spend 45 minutes a week doing this trash. You say, 'every student hates learning' but no, because i'm a smart child in school. How do principals find this trash to begin with? They spend hundreds of dollars for this trash for students. I-ready sucks and i hope you people save your money for something useful. If anything, choose IXL.
1st: even if you get the question correct it explains it 50 million times
2nd: it takes wayyyy too long
3rd: very annoying
I-ready is the worst, most horible thing i have ever seen in my life. The lessons are really boring and the people in them talk SOOOOOOO slow.
It sucks never ever get this app i made me stupider and there is no way in heck should you ever get this app
I am in 6th grade I have been doing I ready for a while. I have noticed many flaws starting with lessons. The instructions some lessons give are not clear at all and can cause people to mess up or get the question wrong. My classmates also agree that I ready is not a very good learning program. Next, I ready usually has a lesson with 2 parts. Say you get every question right on the first part but only get half the questions right on the next part of the lesson well it makes you start the whole lesson all over if you do that. I ready will make you redo the questions you got right. This can be very irritating because some lessons can take about an hour. Overall this isn't a very good learning program and there are better ones out there.
Im a middle school student and I-Ready is probably one of the most annoying and time wasting thing i have to do in school, It takes a millennium for the characters to talk and i have to do two lessons for math and reading every week, get rid of I-Ready.
I've looked at most of the reviews. All of them are pretty BAD. BOO IREADY! Sure, plory and yoop aren't so bad, but the rest I give 1 star.
I'm a student, and I have to use this 'learning' application to learn. Now, it does explain how to work out a problem and such. BUT! It does it in SUCH A BAD WAY. They have these kids that explain it to you, and it's so bad. They always try to be "#relatable" and talk like "Like, lets totally use the internet to search up these totally rad definitions for this word!" I just don't like them saying "cool beans yo" as if that's how teenagers talk.
I Ready is something we are all forced to do 50 minutes a week. It gives us extra work to do and makes all of us take time out of our free time to do it. If we don't, it's a grade. However, I Ready does not help. It's almost like they are trying to make it as slow, boring, and tedious as possible. I would not recommend it and hope we never have to use this horrible website again. The diagnostics are horrible too.
I have been doing i-Ready for two years now and I hate it. It is a waste of time and they don't explain how they got their answers when they explain it to us. It has been taken way too seriously at schools and I think that that should definitely stop, too. We shouldn't have to feel like it is a serious thing. This is why I think that i-Ready should not be accepted to schools.
I am a student who has to do the diagnostic right now
1.The lessons are really repetitive
2. While doing the diagnostic if you realize you made a mistake you can't go back and fix it
3.It drags the fun out of learning and doing your work
4. Tho I found this unnecessary and annoying there are now learning games for math which was a new addition like a year or so ago but we are not allowed to do the learning games which are also to easy for even a fourth grader
5. I-ready sucks and is a giant wast of time
Hi. 6th grader here, and im here to tell you why this is a awful website. Its boring, and nothing is good. The lessons take forever, and if you score low, you have to do it all over again. It takes three mistakes to make you start over. Would not recommend with your kids. The characters are cringy and awful and I have never learned anything from iready. Why cant we just stick to class lectures?
Answer: It's designed extremely poorly. So, therefore it makes it miserable to do. It also doesn't help that the school systems don't give a shit as long as the TEST SCORES are high so they can get GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
Answer: Sweetheart, you might want to sit down for this one. It's because they want you to suffer an plethora of hours just for you hear an irrelevant explanation that you knows it's blindingly transparent and gratuitous to make pontifications.
Answer: Because its so goofy agh and boring as heck itself
Answer: I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE A DUMBASS SORRY ABOUT THAT JUST RELOAD THE WEBSITE BEFORE ITS DONE SPEAKING
Answer: No they hell well don't they just want to get their filthy hands on cold hard cash by scammingevery school in the world.
