Not a good web site it doesn't challenge you instead it teaches that everything will be easy. It also when you get a question right it walks you through it and when you get it wrong it moves on to the next question.
I'm just here to bring this down since this website sucks so much and dont mind the grammar i don't have time to actually use punctuation also another reason why i hate it is that you have to redo a whole lesson over if you fail the quiz which does not help kids and should be fixed so it puts you back at the failing problems this way it would be easier to use.,!?
Whenever I do i-Ready, I am always stressed; whether my question is right or not. The people in i-Ready also talk SO SLOW. And most of the lessons- depending on which level you are on, take over an hour to do. Not to mention if you fail the lesson- AND HAVE TO REPEAT IT ALL OVER AGAIN! It is so stressful and needs to be removed from schools.
Don't use it it is unrealistic and the lessons take 40 minutes just for the instruction. As i said don't use it.
This is the worst program i have ever used seriously just use gimkit this stuff is dog water my guy. If any teachers are reading this please help me outlaw iready
Iready sucks because it teaches students absolutely nothing. Sometimes when people get a question correct, they get it wrong because iready is just bad.Its honestly just a waste of time. It takes lessons that students already know and give it to them and it is very repetitive. Every person I know agrees with me. All in all, Iready should just STOP.
TLDR: I-ready treats people like two-year-olds and cant keep a balance between dull and boring with poorly animated characters explaining things to you.
The first thing I would like to say about this is that I-ready constantly treats the person like a child and the few times it doesn't I-ready treats you like your Stephen Hawking the second thing is that the children who use this app are placed in two categories which I will label as 1 and 2 category 1 has poorly animated characters teaching you which many kids find demeaning meanwhile category 2 has bland colorless screens with math written out so without a balance of the two I-ready is either dull or annoying
So this game has allot of reviews but it says it sucks. So here is some glitch that are kinda funny so yeah
I hate iready it is dehumanizing and is forcing kids to do something they hate. Iready has the most annoying voices ever
It so bad it dogy pond water i dis like this app. I am a 12 year old in middle school and the amount of stress this give because it an 100 point grade for us.
I am a 7th grade student who's school enforces I-ready. Some lessons are easy and I finish them in around 5 minutes. But the other ones are TERRIBLE! They feature these crappy annoying terribly drawn characters who sound like they recorded their voice in a microwave. They are annoying and they drone on and on for 30 minutes straight! I like to do my I-Ready quick and just speed through it. I-Ready treats me like I'm in second grade. It talks for 10 minutes straight about what a "stanza" is. It acts like I am a toddler again. Schools still use this even after all these terrible reviews. Never use I-Ready.
This is soooo stupid, such a waste of time. I think we should all ban iready so our kids can live freely
I had to do i reay 4 times each week because it was so boring i never wanted to do it. I always would be stuck on my couch or table doing i ready that is either not right for me to hard or to easy and when it was just right we would take a diagnostic on things we would never know it is a really waste of time i don´t know why schools have to require it like just don´t.
No body likes it and it is trash it is trasher than roblox and miniworld (me mc player hate roblox and mini)
It's a living peace of crap. It teaches you nothing. There are no benifits and it just stresses kids out. The reading is Ok, but I still wouldn't recomend it. In math they talk to much. Like, I don't care about how many apples you need for your smoothie. Iready, please burn.
Hello, 7th grader using I-ready, the diagnostics are really old, I have been doing both math and reading diagnostics for 5 years now, and I think the "helpful" video needs to be updated. Also, the lessons stress me out, it sometimes takes me 3 hours to complete one lesson, only to fail it, and spend another 1 hour rushing it through. And their characters do not look good at all, they need to actually make it look like a professional website, even though it is for kids, if I'm being honest, DREAMBOX is better than this, at least I can complete lessons in 1-2 minutes, even though I still don't learn anything, I like it better than I-ready math. The literal exact reason for me hating the characters is because of their voice, proportions, and design. Not a good website, don't need it for school at all, but if I don't do it I get a bad grade, so I am forced, and it is stupid, just like my principal.
I-Ready is horrible because it is so annoying, And it's not teaching you anything It's just telling you to answer something without teaching you it.
You see, I-ready often does not teach the same thing the teachers teach, and there is no option to change that for teachers. As for the lessons themselves, they teach vastly different subjects for each lesson, and most likely will never exhibit the same content again. Also the instruction time it takes for the voice to stop speaking takes up most of your time in the lesson, and there is no way to turn it off. If just given the instructions on how to solve a problem, and having the speaking voice as an option, is a much better way to exhibit those questions. Another problem is the turn in issues. I-ready counts a week as Monday at 12:00 a.m. - Sunday 9:00 p.m., which can cause issues for students with an overloaded weekend. The grading format here is one of the worst problems too. It is just like another service named, "IXL." IXL fails your lesson if you get a question wrong, but the difference between IXL and I-Ready, is that IXL has the potential, and the ability to teach you, even if the grading system is extremely frustrating. If you fail more than three questions, I-ready fails your quiz, and that means you have to repeat the whole lesson over, not just the quiz.
Ok, I know my rant was long enough, my point is that I-ready is not beneficial, and can be damaging to a child's work habits.
I-Ready is a $#*!ty platform that is supposed to "educate" kids on their learning and math skills along with reading. The two most important subjects, I've left a review before in the past but i-Ready is really that bad.
Yesterday in class when I was doing an i-Ready lesson I got a question wrong (thinking it was the right one) and it made me want to poke my eye in a knife. I-Ready causes stress, confusion, suicidal thoughts to kids. This platform is harmful to kids so parents if you are reading this review. PLEASE DON'T LET YOUR KIDS DO I-READY THE PLATFORM IS $#*!ED AND IT'LL STRESS YOUR KID.
Iready forces all kids into one narrow learning channel, which most suffer while being forced down that narrow path. It takes away the classroom learning environment and forces all kids down the same narrow path. If a kid becomes stuck, all learning comes to a hault, even if the kid knows the rest. Kids initially score low because they are not taught how to use the awful software. Over the year, they become more familiar with it and as a result, score slightly higher. So it isn't a learning ability, but more of the kid figuring out how to use the awful software. It makes Iready look better than it actually is because Iready is actually awful software sold to dumbed down public school districts that waste money. Iready is sold like an used car to an elderly person... In the end, the children are the ones that suffer while Iready profits off the dumbed down public school districts. It is worth noting that NO private school system uses Iready... ONLY dumbed down public school systems use Iready. Iready is part of the problem, NOT solution.
Answer: It's designed extremely poorly. So, therefore it makes it miserable to do. It also doesn't help that the school systems don't give a shit as long as the TEST SCORES are high so they can get GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
Answer: Sweetheart, you might want to sit down for this one. It's because they want you to suffer an plethora of hours just for you hear an irrelevant explanation that you knows it's blindingly transparent and gratuitous to make pontifications.
Answer: Because its so goofy agh and boring as heck itself
Answer: I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE A DUMBASS SORRY ABOUT THAT JUST RELOAD THE WEBSITE BEFORE ITS DONE SPEAKING
Answer: No they hell well don't they just want to get their filthy hands on cold hard cash by scammingevery school in the world.
