I-ready doesn't help anyone at all all the lessons don't do a thing for me and my classmates never will I use this app again. Its worthless and has no meaning of helping.
Please these things are so ugly i hate it please add a way to make it where it doesn't teach you a lesson you already know add a option to just do the math or reading instead of the ugly characters talking and wasting your time teaching you stuff you already know
It makes my brain melt and its just horrible! My mom makes me do it everyday after school and now my brain is a pink puddle with no brain cells. So hove this image I-Ready! You deserved it!
I ready is so slow and I can't stress this enough they read so slow and every time you get a wrong answer they go twice as slow then they already did, and sometimes if you get a correct answer they still make it as if you didn't get it correct they also waste time when they do a cut to go to the next lesson, I do not recommend this app for new learners or students.
I have been using I-Ready for 3 years. My entire class (6th grade) hates this website, and this includes my teachers. I have seen errors such as a right scalene triangle being a equilateral triangle, 7 * 10 being 80, and even multiple grammar issues in passages and text (it doesn't make you correct it). I don't remember the exact lessons, but trust me on this.
Also, the lessons (usually too easy for the students) take anywhere from 15 min - 1 hr. This is tiring and just wastes time. As my English teacher likes to say "Anything in school that does not benefit your education does not matter." (Which can be wrong but still)
By the way, it does NOT work on mobile browsers or Apple App Store. Currently I am typing this on my phone (my laptop is not available) so I can only show you the error.
Its stressful for kids and annoying too so dont try it and if you so they might have suicidal thoughts like my kid did
This program is one of the worst torture methods you can ever use on students. I am even thinking why they made this app. The animated characters are boring and the lessons tell us things we know. In quizzes, iReady just marks them wrong and doesn't tell us anything. I get good grades in this year of 6th grade. When my teachers introduced this reading program, I did badly getting 83 or 90. My grades got low just because I did badly at this program. This program is ruining my life and I hope that it is banned, so I don't have to face it in 7th grade. I just hate it so much. Now, I always think that LA is boring and my participation grades got low. Congrats on the Very rotten job iReady. I gave it two stars because it could be a torture method for bullies that cyberbully you. Just give them this lesson and they will go crazy.
I hate i-Ready so much it's just the worst! If you get a question wrong, it has the dumb characters talk through an entire boring explanation. And I think it should not have this horrible annoying sound that's supposed to mean you got it wrong because it's not bad that you made a mistake, it's just learning and life. I think it should say something that is more positive when you get a question wrong, like "you made a mistake, but that's ok because mistakes and good and you can learn from them!".
I recommend NOT using this "i-Ready". Totally BAD!
The title evidently tells it all: I-Ready was atrociously created. I used to go to an elementary school and a middle school in the Bonsall Unified School District. (I recently transferred to a different middle school) Anyways, the school district was strongly contingent on education coming from I-Ready. This contingence led to the reduction of exuberance towards education through its platitudinous repetitions of already-intuitive information and its ambiguous explanations on an unknown topic. For example, when I was in 4th grade, I was performing at a 5th grade level in mathematics. Apparently, I was struggling with the lesson related to the powers of 10, due to its lack of strategic organization. Also, I usually had to figure out what the unknown concepts were meant to represent. I remember writing a letter to my district's superintendent that was meant to convince him to reduce the utilization of I-Ready in 6th grade. (In retrospect, I should've done it earlier)
You will love i ready but if you not ready you can do not have to can so if you not ready you do not have to do it but if want to go
This website is my #1 most hated website EVER. I can't even explain how much I hate it Worse than Pearson Realize. If you fail the lesson, you have to redo the WHOLE ENTIRE THING. If a lesson takes 30 minutes and you fail, have fun spending 1 hour on a crap poorly animated lesson you don't care about. You're lucky to spend only 15 minutes per lesson.
And there are no such things as Checkpoints either. If you fail on certain lessons, you have to go through the very annoying process of listening to the characters from the beginning that you already know the information from. There is no skip button to go to the quiz, you're just forced to listen to them talk about some nonsense.
This site shrank my pp size by 200%. I can't even snipe the toilet anymore! As soon as I deleted i-Ready from my search history and bookmarks bar, my pp went back up by 300% size!
Answer: It's designed extremely poorly. So, therefore it makes it miserable to do. It also doesn't help that the school systems don't give a shit as long as the TEST SCORES are high so they can get GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
Answer: Sweetheart, you might want to sit down for this one. It's because they want you to suffer an plethora of hours just for you hear an irrelevant explanation that you knows it's blindingly transparent and gratuitous to make pontifications.
Answer: Because its so goofy agh and boring as heck itself
Answer: I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE A DUMBASS SORRY ABOUT THAT JUST RELOAD THE WEBSITE BEFORE ITS DONE SPEAKING
Answer: No they hell well don't they just want to get their filthy hands on cold hard cash by scammingevery school in the world.
