Ugh
December 11, 2021

I wish that iready would just stop, all teachers reading this may be like 'oh kids hate all things that make you learn'no thats not the case, i love school. Its just that this is dehumatizing me, im in 4th grade and im forced to do this. With these ugly math charicters they are trying to make sound cool but their just sad and pathetic. I ready flat ironed my brain and took away my brain cells: l

Dumb
December 6, 2021

Iready is dumb. If you get one answer wrong it goes down to literally 0. Im working on it in school while writing this review and theres math mistake where it marks it wrong if you dont have the numbers in the right order? What the heck? It shoudnt matter! I dont learn anything from it ive been on the same lesson for like 2 years doing the same problems over and over and over. The worst part is when it makes you do it over again when you get it wrong, thats just pure torture. If you want to torture a kid go to iready.
There is also a picture below of it saying i have to put it in this certain order.

And they also have you do a practice round before you do the real lesson. Then when the practice round is done you get youe hopes up.

Ehh?
December 4, 2021

I-Ready math is decent enough, the main problem I have is with the reading section of it. Back in like third grade, the reading assignments were kinda fun, but once you get to a certain level on your diagnostic (around 650) it starts getting extremely repetitive. Like you read some passages then answer questions and do so over and over again until the assignment is over. This just really zaps your motivation while also making the lessons way too easy and boring. You don't even have to answer any of the questions personally unlike the math section. I just think there should be a little more variation that's all.

Iready sucks
December 3, 2021

I ready does not help kids learn if they are above 5th grade. When you first start iready it is way to easy. Also, ireadys system has a very slow loading time. It also takes for ever for the iready work to reach the users reading or math level.

WAHT
December 2, 2021

Subscribe to my Youtube channel: "multiplegamesman" if you agree!

I'll never forget the first time we met. But I'll keep trying.

Math was my favorite subject, i'd say i was one of the biggest math lovers in my classroom... except past tense though... i used to love math! But iready makes me hate math! It makes you restart a lesson if you get just a few wrong and it is stupid and cringe (with the dabbing) and the names are stupid, the ideas are stupid and the questions are so dumb, they are so easily misunderstood and sometimes you can get it right and it wont give you a single point because they wont let you do in your own strategy! They think that their math strategies are SOOOOO SMART! But really, they should let us use our own strategies and formulas and everything! They are taking over every single thing in math class and i just want iready to go away so that i actually like math again because i remember in fourth grade, i LOOVED math and then fifth grade had iready come and join every school and now math is my second least favorite subject! (i hate social studies more though) i mean, i went from being the biggest math lover in the classroom to being in the group of the biggest math haters! Not cool! Ban iready!

When you eventually get to level F with math the lessons get longer and longer! When your teachers ask you too get 45 minutes and 2 lessons, you end up getting over 100 minutes. Accuracy is also confusing and dumb over all. Percentage is the same.

I have to do this every Monday and Wednesday. First off, this site treats you like you are in preschool. If you get a question wrong, it takes way too long to explain it. Also, the pass rate is OUTRAGEOUS. If I get 63%, that is FAIL. IReady claims that it doesn't give your student a grade. However, getting a percentage on your lesson is a grade. I got a 633 on my diagnostic, but I get 7th grade material. It got so bad I just looked at the website, iReady central. Some people would say that I'm just saying this to avoid work. WRONG. I am writing this in the middle of school. Sometimes, you have to get 70% TO PASS A LESSON! I am thinking about turning off my Wi-Fi. I'm pretty sure that "Vivi P." was brainwashed. I agree that she says IXL doesn't work. She claims that we hate iReady because we are lazy. No. I learned nothing back when I actually did iReady.

Menace to society
November 30, 2021

I ready is probably the worst site in the world for learning. For us children, we have to watch a screen teach us math and reading, but the teachers get to grade papers and get ready for the next period. I ready is also one of the most boring websites on the web. Seriously, and to make matters worse, the characters are so cringey. If you're going to teach, teach. Don't distract us with these terribly written, boring, cringey, useless and annoying characters and storylines which don't make any sense at all. Seriously? Bake stars? You could not have came up with anything more cringe than this! I have not learned much from Iready besides "Suh-weet!" and "Look back into the text." The creators try to make the characters sound "cool" or "epic" but in the end, it's just sad and pathetic. Wish this app would shut down. It's torture and just like the brazen bull, the creators will get their's.

Horrible/ waste of time
November 17, 2021

This is so bad, in school after doing your math work our teacher would tell us to get on this thing called Iready. And I never really liked but just said whatever to it and kept on going. Every time I went on this I just want to yank the computer out of the room if I failed the quiz. I hated it. My friends would feel mad every time they do not pass either and our teachers on top of that told us to do at least 40 minutes a day! This sucked and one did this either plus it didn't teach any thing you will use in class either so I
Do NOT advise to any teachers!

I don't know a single student who likes this app. It doesn't progress fast enough for some students. Also, no one in middle school wants characters in their learning, they want challenges to get rewards like timed quizzes. I know that it does have rewards but they are too expensive to really be rewarding to the students. To anyone who wants to teach this app, please reconsider.

It's egregious.
November 16, 2021

Okay, so this isn't going to be "well, I have to do it, so it's bad," review. I'm gonna be honest with you, it's hella slow. Like, they take the time to explain every minor detail, the lessons take 15 minutes when you could be done with a lesson on the same concept in 5 minutes in IXL. Also, it teaches you how to solve the problems it gives you in a way you'll never find useful. So, in conclusion, use IXL instead. It's a quick death instead of a slow one.

I-Ready Stinks
November 15, 2021

I find I-Ready to stink. I ready provides no interest in the child its boring. I ready takes away the whole thinking process it asks bluntly obvious questions. And the lessons are most of the time very very easy even for the high level students.

WHY!?!?!?
November 12, 2021

Ok, so I-ready is good and all, but the lessons are never at the right level, they are either too hard, or too easy, I was on level E, let's say, and I was doing well! Really well! But THEN, suddenly, I logged on one day, and I was on level D doing lessons from 2 years ago! Now, I am STILL ON LEVEL D and I am doing NUMBER AND SHAPE PATTERNS! I am 10 YEARS OLD! I don't understand the point. I-ready is just pointless.
