IReady sucks
January 19, 2022

My opinion is final. From a teacher's perspective, I don't agree with how kids 5 - 14 years old (elementary and middle school) use it. It's good for a younger audience, but not good for older students. The animations are poor and childish. Districts shouldn't need to pay thousands of dollars on a subscription plan for this poor quality. Sure, it's better than some sites but I think they can do a lot better with how much we pay them. [It kills the student's social view of the world] with the advancement of technology, things are getting more technologically advanced furthermore, that means it kills the student's social skills and takes them further from achieving those skills.

IReady is just a waste of time. Yet it takes so much from your grade if you don't do it. We have to do a lot of time on iReady and not everyone has time for it, yet they are punished with bad or not so great grades. They should at least take some time off

So I'm a 6th grader currently taking the diagnostic and it sucks. It has glitches and lag and everything. And then I hop onto the lessons, and I'm all, "Why did I even listen to my teachers and do this crap?" Just don't do it. Teachers say it's fun and everything but it just sucks.

I-Ready
January 17, 2022

Good in theory, horribile in execution.
Ex. 1: It give animated story that take up a significant amount of time. (to a 8th grader!)
Ex. 2: Inconsistent, I answer x in decimal and I get it right, I answer y in decimal and get it wrong because it's not a fraction even though I ready never clarifies that it should be a fraction.

I-ready causes stress
January 17, 2022

I-ready hypnotizes children and brings unnecessary stress to the kids using it. Making learning the first thing in the world learning instead of the child's mental health. Most children under-go a lot of pressure to do well on tests l-ready presents, making them brocken and emo.

I-ready is basically medieval torture. BUT WORSE. Do not buy this program. It is badly made, teaches you nothing, and a terrible program overall. If you get a single question wrong, your bound to fail the entire lesson, which takes UP TO AN HOUR.

Its hacking me
January 11, 2022

My laptop keeps saying Iready over and over again and opens Iready on its own. Other times it says Would you like to open iready? And the options are open iready or open iready. Also when I go to google slides, it says would you like to move to the next slide. Plus it asks me if I want to shut down my laptop. Please fix this

I-Ready is a "learning" app and it is overall exhausting. I've been doing it since kinder garden and from the minute I've been on it, I have hated it. It's a complete waste of time and it'll do nothing but make you frustrated and everybody in my math class can agree. The diagnostic takes forever and you don't even feel proud when you're done. I understand that it alerts teachers with students score and how they're doing, but it doesn't move you up or down a level whether it's hard or not. It really just tests what you know and it doesn't do anything helpful with learning. Teachers, PLEASE do not use this app. Your students will thank you.

$#*!ing sucks
January 5, 2022

There are to many bugs and glitches with iready, glitches where it randomly removes you out and you have to restart the work all over again, the diagnostic would randomly repeat its self a few days after you do it, answered a problem and type 29 it said that was wrong and the correct answer was $#*!ING 29, it would randomly get rid of a completed assignment and have to do it all over again, it sucks, not worth it, this is stupid, school is stupid, too many bugs, and its just straight up cringe, 0/10 no sheeeeeeesh

Iready is sooo bad! I'm in 4th grade and forced to do iready, so I have first hand expirince (and spelling errors too). 1. the animation on iready really sucks! Could'nt they have done a better job?! 2. I found out on google that iready is dehumanizing! Sometimes my mouth randomly starts gaping open! I could'nt belive it! 3. Every time the computer cart is brought into the classroom, my whole class groan's because that means we'll have to do iready! 4. When you finish a question, they repeat the whole thing over as if we don't under stand the problem, when we're the ones who solved the problem! Its normal when teachers do it but its a time waster when iready does it! Therefore I feel iready should be no more in public schools. (Directed twords PS. 10!)

I-Ready Is Boring
December 18, 2021

I-Ready is boring for mist students, especially older students. The animations get to look like some younger kids' TV Show. Also, it can also be tiring and feels more like a chore more than an activity when you need to do it for homework. Schools, I recommend NOT to use I-Ready in your curriculum.

Its really Frustrating to see that schools still use this program even though its rated 1 star and gives children anxiety. I am a 1st grade teacher and although our school did enforce it I let the students skip the lessons and would just mark them as done because of how stupid the lessons are. But later on showed the school board the dangers and they uninforced it and gave it as an option for who (students) wants to do it. Really would NOT Recommend.
