What can I say that hasn't already been said?... Every product I've ever bought has been well made. Every on line experience easy. They're the best!

I have been buying from LLB for almost forty years now and have never had a bad experience-how many online stores can you say THAT about?
I purchased insulated hunting boots and they didn't hold up at all. The soles came off after two hunting seasons, a total of 8 months wearing them just on days that I went hunting.
I swear by L L Bean. They do what they say they will do, the products are good, no hidden charges.
Found a bathing suit on website but didn't have my size so the website found the suit in my size at a retail store in another part of the country... called them and they honored online price and shipped free. THIS is how a retailer with an online site should be managed! Take note boo to Anthropologie - thumbs down and to other store retailers with online sites - LL Bean has a very successful business model.
Watch for sales but buy their items when you find a good quality item that fits you fine because it will last a long time, washing & wearing extremely well.

I had bought a hunting field jaket and the coating inside the game bag was starting to wear so I called them and they said that I mustt have warn it out.So I told them it was only warn 4 times a year. They did send me anuother one
The store pretty much sells high quality items but that doesn't mean you can't find those items cheaper at other good retailers. LL Bean does offer one of the best return policies in the industry. They did that because the predominant LL Bean business is done through on line and catalog business and in order to entice wary customers. The styling of the clothing is definitely not haute fashion (its more akin to granny wear) but it is always well made and quality material.
I purchased a Parka and customer support was very helpful I loved the product!
I work for a company that takes care if adults with special needs. LL Bean is the only place that carried the type of shoes for one of the ladies. If it weren't for LL Bean she wouldn't be able to walk without support. The hiking boots they carry are lightweight and flexable but also give the support needed to walk climb or do whatever it is you need. Great products.

Answer: If you don't get results from one customer service representative, ask to speak to a supervisor. I emailed my question in and had a quick response and exceptional service. Had I not, I certainty would have gone up the chain of command.
