IF I COULD GIVE YOU A 0 I WOOD. THIS WEB/STORE E-MAILS YOU TWICE A DAY. I HAVE SENT ASKING TO UNSUBSCRIBE. I HAVE TRIED TO UNSUBSCRIBE SEVERAL TIMES. THERE WEBSITE DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO STOP THE E-MAILS. THERE SIZES RUN SMALLER THAT THE AVERAGE AND I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.

And have promoted there name to literally everyone I know. And have lately discovered just how shady they trully are.
I ordered a lounge shirt for my girl and a 135 dollar axe for my son for xmas. The shirt arrived the axe. Did not. The tracking said "delivered" I waited 2 days and emailed them. They assured me the problem was fixed and the axe would arrive in time for Xmas. Another day and I got an email stating the order was canceled! Now have to wait another week to get a refund. Very disappointed with this company and I might even give away all my bean gear. I will never speak their name or promote anything from them again.

Today it is freezing rain with a slick layer of ice and rain on top of it... the worst walking conditions possible... unless you own a pair of arctic grip boots. These boots are amazing. They won't slide even if you try to make them slide. We can't drive in this but we can walk in our arctic grip boots. Thsnk you LL BEAN. You truly are the best.
On December 20th I placed an order. On the website it said that it was the last day to get it by Christmas. The item I ordered was in stalk. So I checked out and paid for that item. After it was completed, it stated that it was on back order and that it would be 2 to 3 weeks. I called customer service immediately and I was told that the back order was incorrect and that I would get it on the 23rd (Friday). Its now Friday and I noticed that my order stated that it was being processed and still on back order. I called again and was told that they are doing all they can. The same thing happened last Christmas. I never got my order. When I called after Christmas, they said that the item was on back order. I told the person I spoke to that I was not please with their business tactics. And this person did not care what I have to say. I told him to cancel my order and I will take my business to Cabelas. This person didnt not care and didnt even apologize on behalf of llbean. NEVER AGAIN!

Cabela's and Bass Pro shops can't even carry LL Bean's Boots. Great customer service, wide selection and a 24/7 HQ in Maine!
I have been a LL bean customer for many year. I have purchased ll bean products mostly because of there return policy. I recently went into the store to return a $260 jacket a bought 6 years ago. It had very little wear but when I went to use it this year the zipper broke. I wanted to exchange it for a new jacket. They said I would "put on a list for no more returns" I was very disappointed by this news because I have payed thousands of dollars to this company. I have only purchased items from this company based on that policy and now that it has changed I will no longer support there business. I advise people to support Patagonia or North Face which have a better customer service and support good causes.
I am a 30 year customer, and have only wonderful memories of LL Bean products and customer service. They have never disappointed me.

Wow. Totally misleading information about "when we ship"... when I purchased (11/15) the wreath, the site said, "we start shipping Nov 20 and your order will arrive 5-7 business days." Today the tracking said "Dec. 5" and it's nowhere near its destination. No wonder people have complained about the dried-out wreaths! Never again.
I sent my parents a Traditional Balsam 24 in Wreath, they live in Florida (are originally from the north), they love the smell of fresh Xmas trees.The wreath was ordered November 13th or 14th and delivered November 24th, the wreath was dried out & a large amount of needles fell off the wreath. Not a typical amount. Did not have much fragrance. My parents say this wreath will not last until Christmas. I ordered another on December 1st - to be shipped directly to recipients in Montana - before I heard about the condition the wreath arrived in Florida - I will find out from the Montana recipients on the condition of this wreath...
Can actually talk to a REAL, LIVE human being if you have a glitch in processing your order online. Always helpful and will process the order on the spot if requested to do so.
Rude, rude, rude! When I returned a jacket with a broken zipper in the spring, they told me they couldn't fix it and they didn't have the item to replace it, so they told me to come back in the fall and get a new jacket of similar style for the same price. They even wrote that on my receipt... and when I went by tonight, they refused to honor their own terms. And when I asked for the GM, a kid come out and told me he managed the entire store--but that turns out to be a lie. I have gone to Bean for years because of their outstanding customer service--but now I might as well shop somewhere else. I can get terrible customer service anywhere!
LL Bean told me they made a mistake in allowing me to order something on 10/17/17, so they kept pushing my order back eventually passed Christmas, so I was forced to cancel. I asked for them to give me the next closely related item at the price I was getting the other ones for, they said no. Their customer service is pathetic. They kept offering me the exact same deal that was their special of the day.
Last week, I received in the mail a promotional offer from L. L. Bean, "25% Off Clothes & Outerwear - November 22- December 17,2017." Okay... online, I tried to order a pair of women's slippers for my sister today, November 26,2017. The promo code on the flyer was rejected. I re-read the fine print on the flyer and noticed that the word "select" was included there, but ONLY there. What exactly does that "select" mean, I wondered? Nowhere on the flyer was it explained specifically what the "select" items were.
The fine print did exclude two footwear items - the Bean Boots and Maine Hunting Shoes - but it stipulated nothing else about any other footwear.
I called L. L. Bean about this, and I was told that the slippers I wanted were excluded... but, again, nowhere on the flyer was this exclusion mentioned. The person with whom I spoke couldn't explain why, and just replied lamely, "Sorry..."
I work in retail apparel myself, and our own customer service standards would always favor the customer in the instance of an error of omission such as this one. I have been buying items from L. L. Bean since 1975, but I have to sadly admit that it's just not the same anymore.
I love the warmth, quality and savings of LL Bean! Their items are wuality and very long lasting! My hubs loves the mock turtle neck shirts. Easy to navigate website. Can't go wrong using their clothing.

Placed an order for a fly rod on 11/13/2017 and I had already planned a fishing trip starting from 11/22/2017 to 11/25/2017. The order is still processing and no expected delivery date available. Ruined fishing trip, ruined vacation, and probably going to lose a customer permantley. Should of learned my lesson from the first time. Very sad week: (

Answer: If you don't get results from one customer service representative, ask to speak to a supervisor. I emailed my question in and had a quick response and exceptional service. Had I not, I certainty would have gone up the chain of command.
