TERRIBLE COMPANY

LIVING SPACES IS THE WORST! I ordered a Cal King bed, and I received an Eastern King bed. Incorrect delivery was on Thursday 12/9. They came again today, 12/13, and they tried to deliver the same incorrect item. I've taken 2 days off to wait for these deliveries, and Living Spaces is doing nothing to help. The delivery person wouldn't even take the bed back that was delivered last Thursday because they have more stops to get ti today! Customer Service is terrible and has done nothing for the inconvenience, and it's upsetting that I can't even get a hold of the person who assisted me at the store (Theresa at San Leandro Living Spaces). I wish the store was closer to me - I would complain in person. But it's a 1.5 hour drive. The only thing being offered is to re-deliver. But its already been an inconvenience to take 2 days off from work. Living Spaces - you need to make this right! If you couldn't take the bed back today because you had more stops, then at least give me my refund so I can buy a mattress that fits the size you keep trying to deliver to me! I am one of those people who takes a very long time to make a large purchase. It took me a year to finally decide buy this bed that I've been wanting. I trusted Living Spaces with my purchase, and you have made it such a terrible buying experience for me. NEVER AGAIN!

They know mattress drop ship normally takes 7 to 14 days but they tell you 4-7 days so you will buy.

Horrible Service!

I ordered a sofa from them back in September when the item was Out of Stock. I was promised a delivery date for 11/16 (almost two months out). The week of the delivery date, I received an email saying the delivery date was delayed and the team will contact me when they receive the shipment to reschedule. I was so upset because I waited so long for the sofa. I did not get an estimated date so I contacted the website. The took almost a week to respond to my initial email although I wrote everything (what i wanted on the initial email) the person who responded wrote "Thanks for reaching out to the team, what can we do to help." Like what's the purpose of me writing a lengthen email explaining my situation for? Anyways, I responded with patience and just rewrote everything that I want an expected delivery/ estimated time. I needed the sofa before the holidays and will want a refund if it won't be here on time. The person responded another week later telling me that my item will be deliver beginning of November. I told the person that it is now mid Nov, I don't think I will be receiving the item at the beginning of Nov. Took them a couple days to respond, now by a different person telling me I will receive it end of Nov. I now stopped responding and was just going to wait patiently for the sofa at the end of Nov. I received a random email on the existing thread that they wanted to follow up if I still needed any assistance. There is about a week left of Nov, so I responded that is there an delivery date set up yet since I will be receiving the item in a week. The person responded to me saying Living Spaces estimated that they will receive the shipment in Mid Dec and I will be contacted then for a delivery date. That was it for me. I felt like a clown waiting and waiting and waiting for this team who clearly does not give a single $#*! or care about what they're doing or saying to their customers. So i asked for a refund and this was when they started responding faster. They offered to assist me to look around for another Sofa, but I refused. They sent me a confirmation email that they had issued a refund. I hope I get the refund soon. Sorry for the long review guys. In conclusion, do not waste your time on this place and please trust the reviews. I tried to ignored because i really liked this sofa.

I ordered a Sinclair media center fir a client in September. The movers for living spaces pointed out they heard broken glass in the boxes. This thing must have fallen off the truck. It was destroyed. I contacted them in Sept. They told me they'd get back to me within a week. It's Nov 17. I have an outraged client. I called again. No answer except they will get back to me? Seriously? I will need to refund a very expensive item to my client. I can't run a business like this. (And they shouldn't) shame on you living spaces. I have ordered from you for years with no damage but when there's a problem, You drop the ball.

Sofa quality

I purchased a sofa and loveseat at close to $2000. There is only my husband and myself not in our 60s and of normal size. So excessive use is not the reason for the failure. After a year they are sagging to the point of my having to add those saggy sofa support items under the cushions. I made a claim with customer support and the response was this is normal wear and tear. Mind you that they chose this response without sending anyone to asses the furniture. Customer service is a joke based on their dismissal of my complaint with no review of the actual items. Needless to say I will never purchase from them again and will happily share my experience with everyone I know. Claim number was CRM *******.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE

Ordering from living spaces has been a nightmare. We scheduled a bedframe delivery a week ago and since ordering, received the wrong items 3 separate times. As a result of this delay, I have been sleeping on the floor the past week. I've been on the line with support 3 separate times now and each has been borderline rude and unwilling to talk with me to truly resolve my issue. There's been no sympathy for my situation, and coming from the hospitality industry, know how pivotal customer service is maintain steady business. I can say confidently that after this experience, I will never shop at living spaces for the foreseeable future.

I ordered a nearly 700 dollar bed with a warranty 3 months ago and the day I picked it up the wood was moldy and refurbished having cracks in the wood glued when it came to me. 3 months later the slats have almost all snapped in half I called in my warranty which was still under factory because it had barely been a few months. They told me they would get back to us over email and would ship my bed and a month later they never did. At the time I had COVID and could not come in and I needed my things shipped. I went in last week and was told that they don't make my bed anymore and they will give me "store credit" for a new bed. Sounds like an okay deal but it's not what I paid for and they had nothing that works for me so I had to settle for a cheaper bed because what I needed they didn't have though it was an easy fix to just send me my slats. I didn't even mention problems with the drawers and railing because I know how businesses are and wanted to just as for the bare minimum. I pick out a new piece of furniture and the customer service rep was very rude and unhelpful and when I told her I'd like to pick up one item I needed that said it was available there on line she said okay and set my items to ship despite my request so I could no longer pick it up. My items where supposed to arrive next Monday and part of the order came yesterday in the afternoon when I wasn't home and couldn't sign for it. They left no confirmation o didn't even know it was here until I got home from work and saw a dirty box sitting on my porch. Never buying from living spaces again. At this price your customer service should be exquisite and let alone your refurbished products you sell at full prices to customers to grift.

I ordered 3 items for Christmas.@ of the items arrived but not the third. When I tried to find out about the 3rd, I was told the order had been delivered. Let the GREAT RUNAROUND commence. 10 days and at least 5 customer "service" agents later and I give up. Keep your item, keep MY money and I will never shop here again.

Beware Return Policy

I have been a customer of Living Spaces for many years and have spent many thousands of dollars there. I recently bought an accent rug online and realized later it was too small. I never even removed the rug from the original packaging in which it was delivered. Living Spaces refused to take it back. Said it had been 11 days since it was delivered to my home. No returns after 7 days - not even for an item that had not even been unpacked. Horrible customer service. Stupid business practice. Lost a long time customer over a $200 rug that had never been removed from it's original packaging. Will never shop there again. Too bad for Living Spaces.

Not worth it

I purchase my sofa 2 yrs ago and have a problem speaking with someone since the day that my sofa arrived. Paying for the CARE protection plan is no more than a laughing joke and a serious waste of time. I will never purchase anything from Living Spaces again in my life! Do yourself a favor and don't set foot in Living Spaces... It's not WORTH IT!

Outright Fraud

This company engages in fraudulent business practices. I ordered an a drum stool online from LS on 7/9/21. When it arrived it was in defective condition. I called LS within 7 days to arrange a return and refund. I had to wait on the phone over 45 min to speak to someone. I sent pictures of the damage, and the return was approved. I specifically declined a store credit and was told the full amount would be credited to our account. The company was supposed to pick up the item on 8/4/21 but never did. I did not receive a refund and submitted a dispute to AmEx. The company responded to the dispute claiming we agreed on an "even exchange." The item allegedly being exchanged was a side table that just happened to cost the same amount. We didn't request this item, don't want it and refuse to accept delivery of it. We also resubmitted the dispute to AmEx, as the claim that we ordered a side table was made merely to prevent the refund that they already authorized.

I'd give ZERO stars if I could!

July 3,2021 - Placed Order for 6 pieces of furniture. Two tall dresser chests, two long dressers, 2 nightstands. Total price: $2490. 90
Was supposed to be delivered between July 15-18.

When we received a delivery, we only received 3 of the items, and one was damaged.

The other pieces were "lost" via UPS, and then went back to the sender.

I've spent well over 40 hours (mostly on hold) with the Living Spaces "customer service" number, have only had ONE person who was actually somewhat interested in trying to help me (Reynold), but their "call back" system failed even that... he'd leave me a message with an extension number and others wouldn't be able to connect the call.

It's September 28th, and I've still only got 2 pieces of viable furniture, well over 40 hours on the phone trying to figure out where/when/how for the other stuff, just found out they had cancelled the remaining 3 items and issued store credit (with no notice to me), then jacked the price of the items online by nearly double...

I was able to get the store credit refunded to my CC yesterday, but then there is still the missing other item, which I've spent hours trying to track down information... and I'm told that they will be able to refund me for that piece as well (but has to be approved and handled in another, so again, no money yet!), but at this point I'd like a FULL refund - because what am I going to do with only 2 of the 6 pieces for the bedroom set?

NOTHING - except possibly try and resell them (for what amount!) to recoup my money.

DO NOT ORDER from them unless you want a lesson in patience and feel like being frustrated. In all my years in eCommerce (over 20!) I've never experienced a more shoddily run business. That's saying a LOT... JUST spend your money elsewhere with a company who is concerned about their customer experience process, because Living Spaces is NOT it.

They warrant the sofa frames 3 years but after a year came apart. I called, write, send photos several times, but they only send emails several times that they will contact me. Nothing happens! I got the Dorsten sofa from them.
They came finally and fix it the frame came apart.

Piece of Crap Furniture

LS -Huntington Beach. You are at the mercy of the sales person getting your order correct.
Janet had incorrect shipping destination, corrected that mistake, new destination had number & symbols as a zip code, my order summary had a left chaise, their summary the following day per email indicated right chaise, had to correct it, incorrect chaise with 2 cushions instead of one was delivered. I specifically said I wanted 1 cushion when ordering. No one will take responsibility. Filed with BBB. Filed personnel complaint against sale's lady Janet. Come on LS do the right thing. Also, my bed frame had termites within 1 week.

For those who lie saying companies is good, but those companies actually is not good that want work, because at the end of the day, we All will find out is your lies, become the truth become what's True,, Means good products will show whether their products are good or bad means your sales will evenually go down by lying its good to buy. The worst company ever.

The worst service ever received from a company. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional delivery people. Manager was disrespectful, uninterested in helping with absolutely anything. Do yourself a favor and NEVER shop at Living Spaces. The absolute worst experience ever
The item was constantly delayed, no communication at all. I had to call 5 times just to get any information on what was going on with our order.
On the delivery day the delivery people refused to carry the item into our house claiming that it will not fit. My husband offered multiple times to assist in any way. They were rude, unprofessional, left the sofa in our driveway and left.
After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes and talking to the manager I was told that " it's your responsibility to make sure the item is deliverable. It said so on your receipt." $#*! THIS COMPANY. Don't give them any business. I sure as hell NEVER will.

Living spaces only delivered what they want, they don't care About the clients,

Living Spaces is one of the worst companies I have ever tried to buy anything from. I ordered a six-piece sofa from them a few months back. After two months of wait and nearly half a dozen confirmations of the delivery date and time, I cleared up my calendar and emptied out my living room for the delivery of the new sofa. They call a couple of hours before the delivery window that they don't actually have one of the chairs of the sofa in stock, and don't know an exact date when it will be - likely in a few weeks. Oh well. We are disappointed and highly inconvenienced, but decide we will wait a few weeks for the whole set to become available again.
And then it gets worse from there. A delivery crew arrives on the originally scheduled day with one of the six sofa pieces. Needless to say, that one piece is not usable on its own. We tell them we want all six pieces together. They say no problem and take back that one piece.
A few days later, I get an email confirming that everything is now in stock. I call to schedule delivery. A rep named 'Ivan' schedules all six pieces to be delivered a few days later. I double-check with Ivan - item by item - that all six are all in stock and will be delivered. Yippee. Ivan just hangs up mid-way through our conversation, but all else seems good. Given their track record, I call them again to just verify the info with another rep. This other rep now tells me they have actually canceled my order for one of the pieces (the one they brought on the original delivery day), since it was 'returned'. Worse, they have deducted 10% of what I paid. Then the rep proceeds to hang up on me as I am asking questions to help me digest this info. All this while, no sincere apologies, no offers to make things right, and forget about anything to offset the massive inconvenience and waste of my time this has caused us so far.
I usually ignore one-off bad experiences with a company, as everyone messes up once in a while. But given that there were so many touchpoints with Living Spaces with rude reps, unhelpful/incorrect info, callousness, delays, and outright errors across the board, I think this company is a massive mess. Poor customer service is institutionalized here. Reps tell you lies, incorrect info and hang up on you - consistently.
I wish I had taken the other reviews seriously before ordering.

Lie about stock

My wife and I went to the store in Fort Worth and choose 2 mattresses and paid for it. They delivered the wrong ones. When we went back to the store, we found out they marked the mattresses we originally wanted with the wrong part number, and that's why we got the wrong mattresses. The problem was when they lied and said the ones we needed were back-ordered so they don't have to match the price since the ones we needed are a little more expensive. I didn't mind if they are more expensive. I went online and found the ones I needed available at the Grandprairie warehouse where they ship all the orders from. I believe they didn't want to match the price but they didn't even tell me it was higher. I found out online it was more than what I paid. The main issue here is not price, It's customer service. If they lie before we buy, how is their service will be when we have warrantee issues or concerns in the future. I guess online reviews speak of their business. I was shocked when I saw the google rating at 1.14. My review is not to make people stop going over there, It's for management to take serious measures toward training employees to have better customer service.
