While some customers express satisfaction with the furniture's design, numerous reviews highlight severe issues with delivery delays, unresponsive customer support, and inadequate warranty services. Many customers report dissatisfaction with the durability of products, citing premature wear and substandard materials. Additionally, the challenges faced during the return process and the perceived dishonesty regarding warranty claims further exacerbate negative sentiments. Overall, the feedback suggests a pressing need for improved customer engagement and product reliability to enhance customer satisfaction.

Be careful with LivingSpaces shipping. We had an issue with the delivery address and it created heartache and headaches. The customer service did little to help resolve the situation. We based our shipping choices off the dimensions and weights listed on the website for the product and reconfirmed with customer service, but the ultimate packaging was significantly bigger than stated and cost us hundreds of additional dollars to ship. With all the online retailers available, I doubt that I will buy from them again.
Living Spaces has terrible customer service.
It is impossible to speak to anyone. The central national number *******300 will keep you on hold for 30 minutes. Management in the store not willing to help and is not truthful. I returned my item and will not be back.
I spent 11 hours now and a whole month trying to get my damaged table resolved Kevin said he'd call back the next day and I didn't hear from him for 7 days and then he did nothing she is the only manager you can talk to I reported him to enger and he never got back to me when he promised he'd call the next day to follow up I then tried to get hold of Grover geiselman and his assistant Asia said she would get him on the phone and to keep the Line open for a half an hour he never called then I called back and spoke with Jessica and she said Asia would call me back shortly she was on the phone it's been 4 hours no call then I spoke to lady and she hung up on me and I spoke to d a n a and she said she would call the next day at 4:30 which was a couple of days ago and she never called back and then you call and call and they do nothing and they say oh we're sorry we're sorry and now it's been a month and I still have the table unresolved
Ordered a dresser on 3/5/22. As of 6/20/22 two dressers have arrived both broken. First dresser had a big broken chip in it, returned it which took nearly a month. Replacement finally arrived in broken box, screws laying on top, broken and disassembled—looked like someone else had already returned it. It was finally picked up on 6/14/22 (after several phone calls) and now i am told I have to wait 3-4 weeks for my refund.
The only thing these scam artists do quickly is take your money. I paid for furniture months ago and apparently its stuck in Utah, the delivery company cannot access it, and the inept company isn't answering their phones today. They are closed on a Wednesday? DONT waste your time, the furniture and products are subpar and what you have to do in order to get them is simply not worth it. I am calling my credit card company to report this scam and having them reverse the payment. They are dishonest and dont deserve the public's business
Shopped for furniture in the Grand Prairie Texas location. I ordered a full set of furniture for my guest room. The furniture was damage upon delivery and refused. Tried to call the store only to find out that you can't call the store directly. You have to speak with a Living Spaces call center. I drove down to the store where the manager blamed the delivery team for not checking the furniture before it went out. He further went on to say that the delivery guys are contracted and do not get paid unless the delivery is made and therefore it is their responsibility to check the furniture. He credited the delivery charge and discounted the furniture so I would not cancel the order. He had the furniture redelivered the same day. The manager promised he would check the furniture before it went out. HE LIED. The damage on the second delivery was worse than the first and again the delivery was refused. I cancelled my order and was told that my account would be credited. After two weeks I did not see a credit on my account and called Living Spaces only to be told that I was issued store credit by mistake, and they would take care of the credit on my account. This store has no QUALITY ASSURANCE AND NO CREDIBILITY. I would not recommend Living Spaces.
I'll cut to the chase, avoid this company! I will for the rest of my life. We were in the process of building a house and naturally you have to order fixtures in advance and then coordinate the installation of those with several subcontractors. When we realized that the lights we bought ($150 each x4) we're not going to work I reached out to the company and they said because we were outside of the 7 day return policy there was nothing they could do. 7 days! This is 2022. We are on the tail end of a pandemic. Tell me what other company on the planet has a seven day return policy. The organization clearly has no desire to compete against very reputable companies. I spoke to one sales representative and then a manager. They had no desire to do anything to help me nor acknowledge any understanding but was advised I should have read the return policy. Good grief. Get with the program Living Spaces, otherwise you won't be around very long. You sure won't see another dollar of mine.
It's been a nightmare. Just about every single piece of furniture that is delivered is damaged or poorly made. Split wood, bangs in the wood, scratches. It's endemic to their supply chain. Poor QC. Customers Service tries their best but when what you sell is poorly made, the experience is going to be poor.
I was purchasing drawers online and called living spaces to pay. The customer service told me that the delivery schedule is set and ready. I was waiting on that day stay home and waiting for the delivery unfortunately my drawers never showed up. I called living spaces and told me that the payment didn't go through and i have to call the synchrony bank. I was waiting for nothing living spaces didn't even notify me that the payment didn't go through. I was really disappointed with this Living Spaces..
DO NOT recommend purchasing anything from living spaces! Primarily because their customer service is very unhelpful. Also, a word to the wise, if you do order anything from Living Spaces, be aware that you only have SEVEN days to return or exchange!
The bed we that we waited 3 months for was ordered incorrectly as a California King, instead of a standard king. We waited 14 days to put it together, because we had to finish painting, only to realize it was the incorrect size bed. Customer service was extremely unhelpful and said there was nothing they could do because it was "past the 7 day window for returns". Absolutely pitiful customer service. Will not be ordering anything from this company again.
I purchased a $1,800 outdoor table and one of the levelers was broken. I completed their survey and no one contacted me. I sent several emails that I constantly received the run around. They eventually sent me a replacement leveler and it didn't even fit and wasn't even the same quality of the originally one broken. Its had to believe this part was more than a dollar and yet their customer service department/parts department didn't try to make sure the customer was taken care of after a significant purchase.
I remodeled my basement in March and decided to add a new sectional because I have family coming to visit on Memorial Day weekend. I originally found a sectional that I liked from Ashley Furniture but the wait was a little longer than I wanted to wait. So I found this company and a very similar couch. I spoke with customer service and they assured me that my couch would be here early April. It's been delayed THREE TIMES now and I still don't have it and I'm not getting it by this weekend. After it was delayed twice I complained on the website only to get email responses from customer service being extremely rude to me. I $hit you not! Customer service started sending me heckling emails. Super weird. I am sure they'd somehow screw me if I tried to cancel so at this point I'm just trying to not to even think about it.
There are no local numbers for each store. If you have a delivery issue, you are forced to speak to someone in a call center overseas that will NOT be able to help you. You have to physically go back to the store, at least three times in my case, to have them deliver an item that wasn't delivered on first delivery, as promised.
Overpriced, really poor customer service. Can't call them, they only use email to communicate with their customers. Place an order at 7:59 PM before they close and if you go back at 10 AM when they open to make any changes to your order they're gonna charge you a 25% fee no matter how simple it is to change or fix issues.
Furniture looks awesome and is affordable. But HORRIBLE quality. It will fall apart after a year. Customer service told me to buy a whole new couch because one cushion was ripping at the seams. Unless you plan on replacing your furniture every year DON'T buy from this business!
Don't waste your money or time here! I bought a dresser that fell apart after having it for 18 months! And I tried to buy some simple sliders to replace the ones that came apart and no one could give me ANY direction... The quality and the service here is the ABSOLUTE WORST!
I wish I could give this company a negative rating. My experience was so bad that I had to dispute it with my credit card company. I ordered a daybed back in February and it is now nearly May and I still haven't received it. I had to pay $250 for delivery alone, which is crazy in today's retail world, and after waiting nearly a month for its arrival, it was delivered to the wrong address by their shipping partner XPO. I contacted XPO and Living Spaces and was told it would be retrieved and redelivered, and that I would receive a callback within 24-72 hours to schedule redelivery. I never received the callback and each time I reached out to Living Spaces, they told me to contact XPO, visa versa. This went on for over a week and I was eventually told by some clueless person that the package was still at the incorrect address. I drove 40 minutes to the incorrect address (same street name and number, different town) and found a note from XPO saying it was picked up. I contacted Living Spaces again who told me to reach back out to XPO. At this point, I had spent $900 and hours of my time with no resolution, so I handed it off to my husband in hopes that he could get to some sort of resolution (he works in furniture logistics). He got slightly further than me only to discover that we couldn't even get a replacement delivered because it is now out of stock. I am STILL waiting on a refund from Living Spaces, so I ended up disputing it with my credit card. I am writing this while I am on hold with XPO, YET AGAIN, because they won't stop calling me. I guess when Living Spaces eventually cancelled my order it requested that XPO pick up my package (that I never received?!) for a return. Hands down, worst retail and shipping experience I have ever experienced. To layer onto the frustration they still have my money... mind blowing. Take your money anywhere but here!
I'll start by saying that I had previously bought a sofa from Living Spaces and the whole process was pretty flawless and I had no complaints, but then this happened.
An upholstered chair I ordered on 1/11/2022 came partially assembled; the 4 wooden feet were not attached. No big deal as you just screw the feet in but one of the feet could not be attached. Either the threaded insert was bad or the screw on the foot was stripped or something. I called this in to customer service and was put in touch with Living Spaces repair/warranty company: SAW. I had to wait a couple of weeks before a SAW technician was available and when he finally examined the chair, he determined it was a manufacturing defect and he said he would write it up as such and that I should expect to hear from Living Spaces in 5 business days. I waited 7 days with no call before I called Living Spaces to find out what was going on. I spoke to customer service, was put on endless hold and I eventually hung up intending to call back another time. Later that same day I "coincidentally" received an email saying that replacement parts had been ordered which could take 6-8 weeks to arrive. However, there was no mention of who is going to do the repair. Are the parts being sent to me? Is SAW coming back to do the repair? Am I doing the repair?!
Now, lucky for me, it just so happens that I am a professional woodworker and furniture maker so I decided to try and repair the chair. The SAW technician was really not much help (arrived with no tools and no parts) so after he left, I took a closer look at what was going on. I saw that a nail in the chair frame was protruding about 3/16" into the hole where the screw on the foot needed to go. The nail was damaging the threads on the leg screw when it was trying to be attached and the threaded insert looked kind of chewed up also. Whoever was wielding the nail gun in the factory that day did some sloppy work. A definite manufacturing defect and horrible quality control.
Anyway, I was able to remove the nail, knock the insert out and replace it, buy a new threaded bolt and fix the thing myself. Absurd.
Bottom line? You wait 6-8 weeks for the chair to be made, fair enough, 2 weeks for a "repair" technician to show up, well okay, and then another 6-8 weeks for replacement parts with zero info about who's doing the repair. But in the meantime you're supposed to live with a three-legged chair? Yes. (Unless you have the skill to fix it yourself!)
Update: Today (4/8/2022) I received 4 new feet! That's all! No threaded insert, which was half of the problem, no paperwork, nothing! So that is Living Spaces customer service!
It is definitely buyer beware with this company as they live up to the negative reviews they get on Yelp but if you're a competent woodworker and don't mind spending your valuable time fixing their mistakes, than you're good.
Me, I won't be going back.
Answer: They scammed me. It appears that they sometimes come through but for me they took my money and ran.
Answer: There are many furniture companies with similar and likely better products.
Answer: Helpful. People in store very helpful. They did not seem to know about the complaints.
