The 3 items we have bought from them have been very stressful. Especially the repairs of them. New!
I bought a sectional with recliners and one of the recliners did not work. The delivery guys called dispatch and told Gabriel (who I also spoke with also) that the power pack was bad and that they needed to send out a new one. Gabriel assured me that he would get this sent out immediately, confirmed my address with me and that has been 15 days ago. I have reached out to customer service numerous times and they tell they will call me back with the UPS tracking information which never happens. I could go on and on.sitting on hold, being passed around, having to repeat my story to each person, etc. it is exhausting and so unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT purchase from them -- not only is the experience terrible but the quality of the furniture is sub par to say the least.
We bought a $2500 couch. Paid extra for assembly. When delivered the two men wouldn't bring it to the space I wanted it in, nor would they assemble it. They offered to load it back on the truck or leave it in my entry way for me to assemble. Unreal! I've reached out to customer service and they were awful. Refused to refund me the $99 assembly fee and said it was apart of the delivery. I furthered my complaint with photos of damage and was offered a tech to come out, but for what? I will NEVER buy something from living spaces again. Ever. The entire experience has been so disappointing.
Made one charge, and Living Spaces has double charged my account putting me in an over the credit limit. To make matters worse, I can't seem to get help with this at all. I am negative over 1000.00!

I have to wait 8 weeks to get my sofa fix and still waiting. I'm using paint jars to be able to sit on the sofa I purchased. Worst place ever.
My floors were scratched when bedroom furniture was installed. After posting pictures on Google. Their social media department reached out to me. They stated the would submit a claim to their insurance and get back to me. After a month of no hearing from them, I sent an email, the response I got back was very upsetting: due to lack of response claim has been closed. This is not a way conduct business!
We had a win-win voucher to be used from a previous purchase. Their T&Cs stated that the purchase must be double the amount of the voucher when we got it. It was not sold that way and a bit deceptive. There's another reviewer that ran into the same problem.
We made a daybed purchase in store. Excited about the purchase, we decided to look at pictures online to imagine its fit in our room when we got home. We realize that the color pattern on our receipt was put in wrong by the store sales people based on seeing what the colors are called on their website. We called customer service immediately the morning after to get the product in the right color and ran into problems. Living spaces could not do anything about the wrong color.
They would have to cancel the order, put in a new order again to get it right but we would lose the value of the win win voucher.
They made it such a complex problem for such a simple mistake to fix considering how immediate the mistake was realized.
Their customer service call center people were very rude. I was being very polite asking for their help. I had trouble understanding them on the phone and had to ask for clarity. I guess they didn't like that. I was put on hold for a long time and then was asked to call back and they hung up. For a business that runs a furniture showroom with sales people to help you, they aren't very helpful with their customer service after the sale. To our chagrin, we ended up keeping the order, electing not to pay for their cancellation fees and losing the value of our voucher. It's easier to deal with purchases and returns from other retailers when little things like this go wrong. Needless to say, I most likely will not be shopping at Living Spaces again after this customer service experience.
I bought a power sofa. It was comfortable and had so many good qualities. In 2 months the cushions bunched. Living spaces honored the warranty and replaced the sofa ( but I had to get rid of the old sofa).
I've had the sofa for 4 days and it is bunching. China does not put foam in cushions. Living spaces says they can't fix the problem, but they could replace the padding with foam.
If I could give them negative stars I would! This is the se one couch that we bought from them that we have had to use the warranty bc the motor in the couch has stopped working! We got the first couch and the motor broke we used the warranty and they replaced the entire couch. Ok great 2 years later the replace couch's motor broke and we filed a claim. A repair guy came out and said that it could not be fixed and had to be replaced. Ok fine we thought they were going to replace the entire couch like before……NOPE just the two sections. Then they send us the confirmation and it has the wrong address. So I called and the representative on the phone said that they could not deliver the couch to the correct address. I said that the warranty claim was done under the correct/new address AND the repair man came to the correct/new address so why can't the new parts be sent to the right address. The guy on the phone said "that is your problem not mine." Are you freaking serious?! Who what great costumer service! I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said the supervisor will tell you the same thing I did. I still persisted to speak to a supervisor. He said ok then you will have to wait. I waited for about 5 mins then he comes back on the phone and says the supervisor will have to call me back. About 1.5 hrs later I get a call and the supervisor says she can update the address. Ok great….so then I ask about replacing the entire couch Ana she says no. I told her then my couch is not going to match! Two pieces will be a darker blue than an the rest of the couch bc over time color fades. She said well I would have to submit another claim but chances are they would not replace the rest of the couch. So basically living spaces is ok with me have a mixed match couch! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FEOM THIS COMPANY! It is one headache after another! Run as far away as you can! Consider yourself warned!
My son and daughter in law bought a bunk bed for my granddaughter. After 3 times back to the house, hardware was still not correct. Now they need to wait another 3 days to get the hardware needed to complete the installation. Customer Service is terrible. Furniture cheap! PLEASE SHOP ELESWARE! Don't let what happened us Happen to you. This place needs to go out of service.
I recently bought a queen bed and it was worst than any furniture places I have ever bought from. The frame where it will hold the bed was so cheappp! I mean my daughter can bend and snap it into pieces. Even Ikea is wayyyy better than living spaces. They buy Amazon quality or less then display it and sell it. From that experience. We will never buy a furniture with them. So we bought bet set and dining set.
Never received sideboard nor chest drawers. Horrible customer service. They setup delivery date and time, then waited 30 minutes before delivery time to call and say they did not have them. So now I was suppose to wait again after 1 month until October to see if they come in. Why setup delivery date and time and 2'days later after a month long wait call and confess you never had it in stock?
3 nightstands were installed fine, until the 4th nightstand when the Installer (from Living Spaces) decided to be creative and not center the tab under the leg. So now the table can wobble when pressure is applied. Incompetent! What a joke!
Wow, is this places delivery horrible. They delivered damaged product three times. We got attitude from the delivery guys each and every time from different crews. Item was scratched, screws sticking out and we refused product. They told us it could be tightened and painted and were incredibly disrespectful. It's a new product. Why would we need to paint or tighten anything? If this company doesn't correct their shipping and delivery they won't make it. The word is out. We will never again use Living Spaces.
I ordered a rug and it is just passed two weeks and at the first time that I vaccumed it, the rug material just poured out of the air. They have a terrible customer service! I called them and the man was so rude and he just rudely said I can't do anything.
I ordered a couch set and scheduled a time and day for delivery. They canceled on me 4 times then told me I was being unprofessional because I might have cursed when I called and said just cancel my order! They also proceeded to tell me that they would wave the fees….really! They cancel 4 times and they were really going to charge me cancellation fees. What about my time to constantly have to reschedule my time to intercept the couches that never showed up. Would not recommend!
I placed an order as a gift for someone on August 2,2023 with my credit card but the living spaces website did not process the correct shipping address; instead, it processed the address tied to my credit card rather than use the shipping address I had typed in.
When I contacted Living Spaces via their chat on August 2, no one replied so I called on August 3 and they said my delivery window was within 48 hours (August 5th) so they could not change the shipping address without charging me $59.
I tried to explain the situation and say that the website had produced the error (which they confirmed was true) but that they would still not be able to help me because of their Terms and Conditions. I had also tried contacting them before their 48-hour delivery window policy, but their team did not answer. (See screenshot proof below)
The man on the phone was extremely rude and said he had already spoken to the team and they didn't want to change the address unless I paid $59, so he hung up on me.
Horrible website and business practices, horrible experience and horrible customer service. Will not order from them ever again and I suggest no one else do either.
I bought a couch and bedroom set. I have bought 5 couches from them over the first 4 were great. My recent couch was delivered on time and friendly. Due to my work schedule and having recently moving into a new place I did not sit on the couch for the first week. It looked great. My wife (110lbs) sat on the chaise lounge and the cushion split in two, with a huge gaping 8" hole along the seam. Since it was the 8th day they would not return or refund. They required pictures uploaded to their sight. From the pictures, they determined that someone see it in person. It took 2 weeks to schedule someone to come see the couch in person. They ordered a new cover. 8 weeks later still waiting.
Mattress delivered was Mushy Junk. I did my homework- examined their website, chose a mattress, visited their store, when their staff did not know how to sell me a firm, edge support, low motion transfer mattress, I had to call their phone staff. I ordered, paid by phone. Two days later, they delivered NOT what I ordered- delivered Mushy Junk. I GOT INTO BED AND SANK. No matter how I moved- I SANK TO A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE of the mattress. Had to climb constantly- waste of time and effort! Am wondering if there is a warehouse full of mushy mattresses - no matter what customers pay for, out goes a mushy mattress delivered. Have reported to 3 federal agencies, and continue to warn people.
