Many customers report dissatisfaction with the durability of products, citing premature wear and substandard materials. Additionally, the challenges faced during the return process and the perceived dishonesty regarding warranty claims further exacerbate negative sentiments. Overall, the feedback suggests a pressing need for improved customer engagement and product reliability to enhance customer satisfaction.

I bought a $5000 vibrating bed with recline from Living spaces 2 years ago on the extended warranty. The Vibrator part of the bed stopped working, took them weeks to send someone out, then months to offer me a "settlement" of $375, instead of replacing the bed, or repairing the vibrator function. BUYER BEWARE, this company has no customer support, no Technical support, and if you buy a bed you GOT IT, and the best you will get is a Settlement when it breaks and IT WILL BREAK If you use it. Worst company ever to do business with, all they care about is taking your money and not helping when their products FAIL. BUYER BEWARE.
I bought a couch from here. The estimated delivery was 6 weeks, but it took 10 weeks just to get a confirmation, and almost 12 weeks (3 months!) for them to actually deliver the couch. Every single time I called to ask, I was on the call queue for over an hour, and the service reps never gave me any useful information, just to keep waiting.
Terrible experience, and absolutely no care from the service staff.
Would not recommend to anyone.
I purchased over $5,000 of furniture and never have I had issues with customer service. Their attitude sucks. They don't care about you. I had a question about delivery time and the rep got upset and said "We'll deliver when we can!" I will never recommend Living Spaces or shop there any more. They are absolutely awful.
We ordered 2 chairs. It took 6+ weeks and several phone calls. Delivery day finally and they deliver 1 chair. We call and the person on the other end couldn't grasp it. Delivery 2 umm not our chair. Chair still not here and no one will figure this out. It's been escalated you guessed it no call. The worst customer service ever. Save your time and headache go somewhere else.
Well 1st I want to just say that I am not here reviewing an item... because it was never shipped out to me. I spent 12 weeks waiting for a "special order"...
My initial purchase was expected to be received within 6-8 weeks... after the 8th week I called and called to ask about the status of my order... and got the same response..."please call back next week, it's still in production " or " someone will call you back"...
I have never purchased anything from living spaces... and probably never will. I am very big on excellent client services ( I did retail for a long time).
It was awful from the moment I placeD my first call... lets just hope I actually get my refund.
Its sadly to write a review like this; living spaces is an incompetent store to buy your furniture.
We bought majority of our home furniture, and we are not satisfied. I tried reaching out to guest services for managers and they keep making excuses that they are in meetings. When you call regarding a delivery you wait for 30 minutes to get to someone but if you choose the option to buy a new furniture they are very quick to answer. Let me cut it short, we bought a Lodge Otter couch, the sales person told us that it will take 3 weeks for our furniture to be delivered, we got it almost 2 months. When receiving the couch was damaged, we had to order a new couch took another 2 months to receive, today we got the couch and it was not the same color and had much more damage to it, there is a hole in the sides, scratches on the materials. I called 3 stores to get to a manager and no one available. This is ridiculous! You want a good quality couch buy from scandinavian designs, Z Galleria, Crate & Barrels, Wayfair, or even Costco! You will get better quality, furniture in a box, excellent customer service. You spend money these people are incompetent to do business with. We will never go back to buying anything from Living Spaces!
This is re: Special Order. This order been delayed so much for over 2 months. Initially I was informed by Living Spaces at San Leonardo, CA store that order will be delayed 4-6 weeks. Then it was pushed out 6-8 weeks. Store doesn't know where in manufacturing process the order is, or if even process ever started. They keep sending emails to vendor who never responded. I drove 2 hours to the store to file a complaint. They told me there is a recent backlog from vendor, which didn't make sense cause my order was placed 19JUL2020. When I wanted to cancel, they took 25% ''re-stocking fee'' although it is not mentioned about re-stocking fee in my purchase order or receipt. This is frustrating cause it is not my problem that your vendor doesn't have capacity to deliver on time. Living spaces should have known that and explicitly list that in the purchase order or receipt. I have asked for a full refund and I wasn't given that. I am filing a complaint through my attorney through Consumer Financial Protection Agency and filing a law suit against this misconduct from that company
About a year ago we purchased a living room set, because our puppy chewed a hole in the old one. We found a living room set we liked and purchased it. We asked the sales person about a extended warranty that would cover pet damage and she told us about what they offered and it would cover that kind of damage. A year later the dog chewed a small hole in the arm. I called the warranty company and they told me they do not cover this kind of damage and they receive calls like mine stating that they have been told that the sales people are telling the customers all the time that it is covered. I went to the store today and explained this to them and the manager told me sorry we cannot do anything about this. I am going to have to pay for this damage and told the manager I will never purchase anything there again due to misrepresentation. He said that was fine. I am in retail and this is a total lack of customer service and customer service is all they have to sell, because there are other places you can shop.
I have been so pleased with my purchase of a sectional sofa from Living Spaces. They encouraged me to buy the warranty and it seemed like a good deal. I washed one of the cushion covers and the seam came completely apart. The store will not cover it! Just bought this sofa in January 2020. I am very irritated!
They will tell you the item you ordered will take 2-3 weeks, just to make the sale and get your money. Then they won't follow up with you about your item at all. You'll call after 3 weeks and they will tell you something completely different on the phone and tell you this item will take 4-6 weeks to make. Even though you were told it was already made at the time of purchase. They'll blame the other person and Covid 19. Then after 8 weeks you will call back because no one who said they'd get back to you, actually got back to you. Then at 8 weeks they'll tell you this item is discontinued. You will not be receiving this item. You'll sit there wondering when they were going to reach out to you and tell you this, if you had not called, how much longer would your money of been held hostage? Living spaces takes your money by telling you lies to finalize the sale, for goods they do not have. They take your money to stay afloat as a business and can not follow through on what you've agreed on. The couch we bought is still being offered on their website exact color, model and fabric. They are still selling an item they do not have. It was the Charcoal Lodge. They are the Fyre festival of furniture stores.
I purchased a sectional online August 5th. My delivery window was from 8/18-8/27. It is 9/8 today and I have not heard a word from them. I have called each day and no one answers the phone. This has to be the worse online purchase that I have dealt with. I wouldn't be as upset if someone answered the phone but I only get a stupid song that plays continuously. After calling every day and waiting more then 1 hr on the phone to speak to someone I give up! Called my bank and disputed this purchase. You were fast to withdrawal $1500 from my account but cannot even email or answer customers calls not to mention my delivery window is now 11 days passed. I will never order from your site again! So disgusted
They delivered the wrong bed and won't do anything about it because I didn't tell them within 7 days. I tried, but their customer service is too busy, long waits, no responses to emails. I would never buy from them again.
I wish I could give 0 star. This was a terrible experience and I don't want other people to go through it. I purchased items over $500 which qualifies for free shipping. I get an email 3 weeks later that they are ready for pick up at a local store. I tried to contact the local store but their phone number is not available online: found out it's the company's policy that they don't have local store numbers available for customers. So I called the centralized customer 1-877 number the wait time was 60 mins. I thought it was a mistake... 16 mins maybe? No it was 60mins and my call got cut off about 40 mins into it. At this time I was quite upset. Called second time and finally got a hold of someone. And they scheduled free delivery on a holiday. Now the items showed up on the date they said they would deliver? No, I called the centralized customer service line again and they said the items didn't get put on the truck and it will have to be rescheduled... and gave us another date with 7 hour window for delivery...
At this point I'm so upset about rearranging our family plan on holiday and just going through this poor customer service.
I do not recommend living space and I will never shop there again. This experience shows me how much they don't care about customers time and experience overall.
If you special order anything and try to change it right after you place the order they won't do it even though the ship date is 8 weeks out. They claim that they start making the couch right after they receive the order and it takes 8 weeks to make it. Right... NOT! Shop somewhere else. Customer service stinks. Waited for almost 2 days for them to answer my calls. No one ever called. I gave up and will cancel through my bank. Living Spaces has so many problems they do not call you back. If they think you are canceling an order they avoid you at all costs. Bought the same sofa through Overtstock... very pleased with them!
My items were supposed to be delivered today, but they canceled without sending an email as to why. Spoke to person who said I should be understanding after I waited 6hours for delivery that did not show up and waiting to speak to someone after 45 minutes on hold. All I was offered was 25 dollar gift card to a store I would not buy anything else from. I spent over 1600 dollars and delivery fee on couches I have to wait over 3 more weeks to get. I currently have no couches due to moving into a new home living spaces is horrible and the customer service is even worse. How's that for being understanding.
We placed a special order for furniture which was delivered defective. I was asked to send photos of the items, I complied. I continue to email the Customer Service Representative Marie Keller who will not even as a curtesy respond to my inquiry with regard to the return of this defective furniture. Very disappointed, If left the option I would to give 1 star.
My kids wrecked all of our couches so I had to get ahold of some affordable furniture. I think I paid 600 for a recliner and couch... super comfy!
I've had multiple friends and family purchase furniture from Living Spaces and was excited to purchase my couch and ottoman from them. When I ordered my couch, it had a delivery date 3 weeks away (this was NOT a customized couch and was one in stock). When I placed my order or looked online at my order history it all confirmed my delivery date and that I would receive a call 24 hours prior to narrow my delivery window. Finally, the afternoon before my scheduled delivery date I called Living Spaces because I had not heard from them. I waited on hold an hour and was told my
Ottoman was pushed out a few weeks. I said that was fine, but I needed my couch (I've been without a couch for a month). I was then informed they couldn't deliver the in stock couch for another 6 days. When I asked for a manager I was told I'd get a call that evening or first thing the following morning. The following morning... nothing. I called, was told there was a 17 minute wait time and after 56 minutes got hung up on prior to speaking to a representative. I called back, was told a 39 minute wait and after an hour got to a representative, Hayley. She was the ONLY helpful person I spoke with. She was able to get my delivery scheduled for 3 days after the original date. When she transferred me to a manager to discuss my dissatisfaction at customer service and communication, I spoke with Laura. She offered me the most insincere, lackluster apology. When I mentioned that I felt like more should be done to try to rectify the service, Laura got snippy, said she would send me a $25 gift card. At no point did I receive any type of communication regarding delays or one of my items being back ordered. The customer service has been terrible, again with the exception of Hayley. Honestly, some sincerity regarding the apology and acknowledgment that their team dropped 50 different balls, would have been nice to hear. I'm extremely disappointed and doubt I'll ever shop there again.
They lied about products to get a sale. I ordered 3 8x10 rug pads, they said would work on my flooring. They do not. They would ruin my flooring. They would not take them back. To bad for them, I have a two bedroom house to furnish. Do not trust them!
Today, my wife and I went to shope for a couple of items, namely a recliner. After spending about an hour at the location trying out different chairs we made a selection. We then looked for a dresser and a chest of drawers, we found the two items we needed and a salesman began to write up the ticket. He started looking for delivery dates and soon he advised us that the $950.00 chest of drawers was no longer available at the warehouse. He explained that the floor model was the only one, he also told us that it could not be included in the delivery of which I was paying a seperate fee. The chest needed to be picked by me, I asked if I would get a discount since I was purchasing a floor model and one which I would have to pick up with the assistance of someone else and a truck or trailer. He called his floor manager and a young man "Joel" came over and inspected the chest, after the inspection he deemed the chest not damaged so therefore no discount would be applied. I explained to him that I was buying $3,000.00 worth of product which I was paying a fee for delivery which this item would not be included and I would have to pickup on my own. I told him I would have to borrow a truck, or get a trailer and ask a friend for help to pickup an item which they could not deliver even though I was paying a delivery fee. Joel, would not balk and said he was doing me a favor because if he gave me a discount, the warranty on the furniture would be void. He was looking out for my future purchase. 10% of the 950.00 purchase is $95.00, but the overall purchase was going to be closer to $3,000.00. We decided to walk away from this deal!
Answer: They scammed me. It appears that they sometimes come through but for me they took my money and ran.
Answer: There are many furniture companies with similar and likely better products.
Answer: Helpful. People in store very helpful. They did not seem to know about the complaints.
