Scam scam scam. They offer you a 2.95 one week trial. Just figured out i have been getting billed 34.95 a month for the last few months. Apparently in their terms of service there is a line amongst the endledd paragraphs that says they will bill you forever unless they cancel.

Underneath the subscription options in the same size font we state that the subscription will auto-renew on the 8th day. Additionally, we state that on confirmation page, as well as in the email confirmation you received. On our Terms of use we stated “We will automatically charge your credit card or other account at the start of the billing period and at the start of each renewal period, unless you cancel your subscription before the relevant renewal period begins”. Many of our customers continue to use our service for several months during their entire job search and make use of our resume posting service, which increases their chances of getting a job, but once you cancel you will no longer be charged. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email, and self- cancellation in your Account Settings!

COMPLETE SCAM! Just got a call from AMEX about fraudulent activity on our account. Sure enough it was a $34.95 charge from livecareer.com that I never agreed to or knew about when I purchased the right to print a supposed free resume on their site a week ago. I should have known. Please beware and stay away! Luckily AMEX will not pay it and I deactivated the resume account so hopefully we are rid of them for good.

Really bad experience. I payed a lot of money to get a professional Resume written ( because english is my second language) and they did get all my details wrong. They dont know what they are doing! Very unprofessional to misuss my credit card details and keep taking money out of my account. I have not receiced an respond to my email in regards of how badly the Resume has been written. STAY AWAY! Absolutely Horrible! Wish I had read reviews before I created resume, I signed up for the paid trial, cancelled as soon as I printed and forgot about it... TILL I got a bill for $35 on my credit card! Customer service tries to talk you in circles, if you need a refund just hold on for the ride and DEMAND one! I finally got them to agree to a refund, now I just hope it actually comes...

Total scam and will rip you off. They advertised one price and will keep billing you $34.95 per month. The service I wanted was for $2.95 well I ended up $2.95 plus $34.95.
SCAM artist and definitely fraud. I reportedthem to the BBB and also to the consumer protection agency.
Stay away from these crooks.

Answer: This is what the site advertised: For 14 day access, $14.95, and for a year $39.80. However, signing up for ANY service aloows the site to store your payment information for further billing, and getting in touch with them, much less obtaining help is nigh impossible. After two weeks they will pull $39.80 MONTHLY from your payment method (please see my review and others on Google and yelp for further verification of this).

Answer: I had to cancel my Debit Card account with Bank of America, because the Bank refused to block LiveCareer from my account. I wonder if they are in cahoots or what? I believe a class action suit may be required so we can get our funds back.
Answer: Call your bank and change your card number Call them and let them know you have contacted your bank and will contact the better business bureau of you don't get a full refund. Then contact the better bBB and file a formal complaint. You will have a refund within a week. That's how I got my money back
