The company sent me a $2500 table that looks like a toy! Poorly made, nothing fits and now I'm stuck and they won't give me my money back! They react you that you made the mistake and they surely made a giant maid take. Do not order form here - you will regret it.
Do not purchase from here. It took my 3 months to receive my package, and it was an attempted lookalike of the table. Had bought.
The biggest scam! The merchandise arrived defective. After one week of emails, we were told that we would have to pay for return shipping and not a word about a refund yet. The quality of the merchandise is extremely poor. It's nothing like you see on their pictures.
This company is a scam and deserves no stars. The website should be removed and they should be shut down. I purchased a chandelier that can in box that looked like it had already been opened. The interior packaging was crumbly. The overall quality of the parts that were inside were cheap. There were multiple missing brackets and parts to it. The chandelier cannot be assembled. I reach out to them. They initially showed interest in sending me the parts and then they claimed it was over the 180 days and simply replied "sorry." This is stealing. I spend $361.93 for a chandelier that I cannot assemble, use, do anything with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I bought for a 1000$. Impossible to return a cheap looking light. Return policy is a scam. You will lose your money. Never buy from them
Would give a zero, light fixtures wiring was suspect and the instructions did not match the fixture. I asked for a refund and they offered 5% refund despite what their policy says. Definitely a scam. Do not buy.
Writing from Canada. This company scams you by sending the cheapest paper material lamps and deceives you showing fake pictures. Lost close to $300 as they have asked to return the junk which they shipped to me in Canada (not even worth $5). Like the other reviews have said, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. They are a Chinese company with no ethics and morals and will take your money and ask you to ship $5 light for $200 shipping costs and will deduct the original shipping from you. My fellow non Chinese customers, lets sue this company and file a class action lawsuit against these crooks or else many individuals like us will fall prey to their tactics.
Terrible experience. I purchased a light from litfad not knowing where they were based as I'd searched UK companies in Google, the light did not work, they sent me a new part for the light expecting me to fit it in the light myself, hahaha, ridiculous when you've paid 200 pounds for a light, non the less I got an electrician out who deemed the light dangerous and not fit for purpose. Litfad said they will accept the light back but I have to pay to ship it to China, since when do we pay to send faulty goods back, the seller should be providing a postage label. Steer clear of litfad, awful awful company. This complaint with them has now been ongoing since the beginning of August and I'm now down 200 quid for the litfad light and 120 quid for a light I had to purchase from dunelm so my daughter had a main light in her room to do her homework under. Disgusting company.
I'm really not someone who writes reviews, but I thought these scammers need to be exposed. The MO is the same, good website, products look great, they have a "guarantee return policy" blah blah blah… the truth is the quality is cheap chinese made, no lightbulbs, you basically have to build the lamp yourself (with no instructions btw) only to find out that the lamp looks nothing like the one online. But hey no big deal, "14 day money back guaranteed" right. That's when they real nightmare begins, I won't bother you with the long list of vague emails, asking irrelevant questions just wasting time, and I'll cut to the chase. They will order to refund 10% of what you paid them, that's if you're willing to ship the lamp back and it's in the same shape, good luck. Really not worth it, for the price you're paying you can buy better products from reputable companies. DO NOT buy anything from these criminals.
Color is different from what was shown on website.
Once arrived there were missing pieces, poor quality as the shades were actually bent.
The power cords are glitchy.
Replacements have to come from CHINA and take forever.
The light I received is So poorly made and looked nothing like the one I ordered. When I tried to return the light they made it very difficult and had me send many photos. It also came without any hardware to Mount the light. They told me to look at the instruction manual. I am still waiting for this company to take back this light and thank will never get a light from them again.
We bought four stools with metal legs and leather seats. First the boxes looked like they were in a war, all mangled and taped but with gaping holes. When we opened the boxes there were no assembly instructions. Upon further examination, the small ziplocks with screws had holes and there were
screws missing, so we couldn't fully complete one of the four stools. Each stool has some sort of cosmetic issue with a ton of scratches on the metal. When we contacted customer service they wanted pictures and didn't really believe us. We still expect a dining table and chairs from them. Super worried now about what we will get.
Bought a ceiling light, installed in my kid's bedroom, by a licensed electrician. The driver (electric inside light) melted, and caused a fire. Luckily, I was home, and smelled it, and was able to put out the fire. I contacted the Litfad, and had a difficult conversation where they didn't understand, didn't believe me, and didn't want to help. Rather than refund me, they sent me a new driver. The same electrician refused to install it because the driver was the same, and was not UL-listed. He thought there would be another fire. A second electrician confirmed, he would not install this because it was not UL-listed (approved, and certified to not burn down the house). By this time, Litfad refused to help me, saying the timing was past the window of the return. Contact me for any questions, but stay away from this company, unless you are trying to kill your family.
I would not have ordered from this company if I knew it was coming directly from China & because of this they will not honor their website's return policy. Their return policy is a lie--they will not let you return the product, no matter what you say to them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
Product was also battered & beat up from the shipping process taking nearly a month. There was no way to track my order & the product was damaged in shipping.
Not worth it. Site looks flashy, but there's no accountability for the customer's needs once they get money in hand.
I don't know what every one is saying I got two small light fitting 3of the crystals were broken they got back to me straight away and there replacing the crystals great service
Scam! Read all of these reviews, I could repeat them all. Junk. No refunds. No returns. They hardly speak English. Can't get anywhere with them.
I would have never purchased something from a company that does not accept returns. When I reached out to them to explain that the light we purchased would not work for our space and the packaging came totally destroyed, they asked me to send 6 photos of every piece of packing and then would handle my return right away. They then responded and said they would not offer a refund. You cannot send this product back to China (had no idea that's where the product came from) because it costs more to ship it than the lights cost. How can companies like this still be in business?
Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered a table from this site. Took months, first of all. Then my first order got lost in transit somehow and it took them several weeks to get back to me about the lost table. They give me a few dollars for my trouble and sent another one. Finally arrives and it's broken. Table has a crack down the middle. I email them like any normal person and ask for a refund because they sent me an item that's essentially defective. They had the audacity to tell me that if I want a full refund I have to PAY TO SHIP IT BACK TO CHINA. It's $250 or so to ship a 30-50lb table from the US to China and the table was a little over $300. That means I will get relatively no refund. I've been going back and forth for a week and it's like talking to a bot or someone copying and pasting nonsense. Not listening or comprehending or escalating. They literally don't care. Please do not buy from this company. It's a disgrace.
My sconces arrived and were spray painted gold. They looked incredibly cheap and we're not useable. The lights looked nothing like the photo online. The company offered me a 5% refund, then 10%, then 15% until we reached their max of 35% minus their shipping fees. First and last time I will purchase from Litfad.
This company sucks and they are SCAMMING PEOPLE. I placed an order on 7/21/2022. I paid for EXPRESS Shipping, as of today 9/5/2022; I don't have my package. I've reached out to this company and FedEx. FedEx told me they cannot locate my package. I've received several items via FedEx since 7/21/2022 with ZERO ISSUES. It's the company and they don't want to refund me my money. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM! I'm out of $195 and no item. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!
Answer: Litfad is a scam company. Their website products are 3-D images. The intention is to deceive customer. Their return policy is designed to force the product on customers. Imagine the cost of shipping a bucky product to China, which is more expensive than the product cost.
