Scam! Horrible!

My item arrived damaged and broken into pieces. I asked for a refund! Begged for a refund and they told me I had to pay to send it back then they would also deduct the original shipping from my return.

BEWARE, Litfad is a SCAM!

I ordered an expensive piece of furniture, a closet with sliding doors (more than USD$300). It never got an update after the information was supposed to be sent to FEDEX as a carrier in the USA. It got lost in transit and they said it was their policy that they do not provide refunds after the merchandise has been sent... BE VERY CAREFUL AND DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM!

Fraud

This company is a fraud. I paid nearly $2,000 for a rug and table from Litfad. Waited two months for delivery. The products delivered bear no resemblance to the online images. Now I read up on the company and learn it is a fraud. Have exchanged dozens of emails and they refuse to refund me.

I've lost $2,000 and am angry and embarrassed to have been scammed. I need that money back. The products are not only fraudulent knock-offs, but they are dangerous and unusuable. Can't even attach the table top to the bases. The company suggests I drill holes into the table top, which will not work, because the bolts are threaded. The items are unusable and now they say I need to ship everything back to China. This is supposedly a UK company, but it's not I've read about them scamming thousands of people.

Do not order from this site. They will not let you make returns. The quality is unbelievably poor and over priced. I think it's run out of china and just taking advantage of people.

I purchased two lights from this company. The first went missing and they sent a replacement. It looked great and so I brought a second. The electrician has been here three times trying to get the lights working. I have been dealing with their customer support - who are useless.
The latest is that I have to pay to return the lights to China, they will then deduct the price of the first shipping to Australia and issue me a refund. Interesting that the refund will be about zero - oh and I have the additional expense of sending them back... I think I have spent enough on the lights and chalk it down to a very very bad experience
So do not go through the heartache of dealing with this company.
The product may look great but the quality is not there - they units just didn't work

Total scam of a business. They say "easy returns" on their homepage then when you try and return they tell you they only do returns if the wrong item was delivered. The wallpaper I ordered was awful quality and looked nothing like what was pictured. It took well over a month to arrive and now I'm out $500.

I spent 290 dollars on a chandelier and it came many weeks later with faded assembly instructions. I had to contact to get instructions and then realized that nothing had been wired. There were 126 small wires attached to nothing. Support just kept sending the same instructions again which had nothing about any of this. Fixture was also extremely lightweight and they told me I would have to pay very expensive shipping to return it. Run, don't walk away!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CROOKS. CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPLETELY SUCKS. ONE LIGHT SHOWED UP BROKEN 3 WEEKS AFTER THE FIRST 4 ARRIVED. STILL WAITING ON OTHER LIGHTS FOR 2 PLUS MONTHS. SHOWS SHIPPING LABEL PRODUCED IN CA, BUT STILL NO PRODUCT! STEAR CLEAR OR YOU WILL BE ROBBED.

Buyers beware! Avoid

We ordered a hall unit, it took months to arrive and was damaged - due to the poor protection - crush damage and scratches.

Contacted them, and they said 'Our return address is in Foshan, China. The time cost and freight cost of returning the goods are very high.
Therefore, we hope you can consider keeping the item.'

So this company does not offer a returns policy - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - NO AFTERSALES, USELESS TO DEAL WITH - I am now stuck with a damaged unit - What a waste of time and money

Corrupt Scamming Company

Extremely low quality, Amwar was damaged, built of particle board, not solid wood as noted in the advertisement, damaged on arrival during shipment, required the product (weighing hundreds of pounds) be shipped back to China. Literally the worst experience of any online purchasing.

Absolute Scam - Warn everyone you know.

I bought a butterfly shaped LED chandelier from them through AMAZON. Installation was not too bad, some of the butterfly crystals broke, they offered to ship immediately. Then after installation the wire-shorted and burnt, not sure if it was the light or the installation, however they replaced the whole set, no questions asked. It did take 1 month to get a replacement, but it came. Hope it doesnt burn out again, its been a year with the chandelier now.

They will not allow any returns. Even if you were to receive the exact item elsewhere such as Amazon - buy it because Amazon will allow returns. This company is horrendous to deal with. I am disputing the charge with LItfad and Capital One.

First time buyer. Bought dining table and 6 chairs. Chairs were supposed to be white and leather, neither of which were true. Took them to leather shop to confirm not leather. Anyone not color blind knew they were more drabby cream with black rather white. Tried to get replacement thinking they shipped wring product. Nope. Told me they would give me 10% of my $1,500 back - LOL. Then upped to 15%, then 20%, finally 35%. They told me to sell them. I said no. I cannot sue them. Take them back and refund me. They advised I could ship them back at my cost. Amazing. I was able to dispute with my credit card company and got my $1,500 back. These crappy chairs go to St. Vinny's this weekend! Amazing

After waiting 3 months my 2000. 00 server came to me in a destroyed box. The server consisted of over 30 pieces that all needed to be assembled (ikea) but there was no instructions. Have of the parts were missing and the ones that were there are broken… see pics. I tried to call. No phone number. Emailed them back and forth and essentially they are not refunding unless i pay the several hundreds of dollars in shipping cost. There are far too many sites that offer quality furniture with great return policies. I have learned my lesson.

I've bought many things online over the years, but the sofa from LitFad is the worst thing I've ever had the misfortune to buy.It came in a cheap, nasty fabric that was described as being linen in the ad'. The colour wasn't anything like as described & I paid extra for the latex foam, which it isn't.The overall quality is disgusting & I'm embarrassed to have it in my home.The company reinforce the negative stereotypes that are associated with goods from China & their customer "service" is so unhelpful as to be almost meaningless. Anyone considering buying anything from this company is duly warned. I think anyone with a similar experience should share on social media. Trading standards are now involved & they have the power to stop a company from trading in the UK. P.S. I've NEVER left a negative review before, so that's an indication of how I feel about this experience.One star feels like I've over awarded my rating. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Substandard products and zero customer support

Like so many others on here we were scammed into parting with hundreds of pounds in exchange for a terribly poor quality ceiling light that our electricians refused to fit because it didn't comply with safety standards.

Customer support are refusing to refund us until we send the item back which they themselves say would be too expensive.

Reported to UK trading standards and CAB. I will review everywhere to make sure everyone is warned about these rogue traders.

I purchased a coffee table in mid-August and the company said that it would take 30-40 days with express service, which I paid. I followed up on day 40 (10/3) and they told me that it would be shipped soon. When I reminded them that I had paid for express service and it was day 40, they followed up and said that it shipped. When I asked for the tracking number, they said to wait a few days as they didn't have the tracking number. On 10/13, I requested the tracking number. Again, they said it will be shipped soon. When I reminded them that they told me it shipped on 10/3, they said that it had shipped but to wait several days for a tracking number. Same response they gave me on 10/3. I told them I want to be refunded for the express delivery since they were unable to ship by this date and they said they couldn't do that because the shipper was paid. No idea how that's possible if the order has not shipped. I have no idea if I would ever get this product so I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. Thankfully, I purchased through PayPal and submitted a claim. I made every effort to resolve the issue and have my item shipped but they kept asking me to close the claim. When I asked when it would ship, they said 4 more weeks.
