I have been waiting for almost 6mon for bipap supplies. Which I have not received yet. Insurance wanted another sleep study for my o2. Lincare informed me that they could not give me my bipap supplies until the o2 was resolved. It was a billing issue. Told me that the bipap supplies was approved but could give it to me until O2 was resolved. Bridgeport Wva office told me that the black junk on the filters would not kill me and that I did not need to worry about changing the filters and that If I wanted I could take out the disposable filter if I wanted. I have been a RN for over 30yrs and worked in ICU for several years. The staff apparently has not been trained very well. I'm so Very disappointed! I hope the employees at Lincare never have sick family members who need o2 or bipap supply. It would be interesting to see how they react if this happens to them!

Trying to work with these people is next to impossible. They are rude, aggressive and downright nasty at times. Send their people around to the house to sign papers without informing us that thy are coming and that's our fault we are not at home?
They were the same years ago when looking after the Mother-in-Law. Wrong deliveries, over charging, double charging and nasty when contacted.

I can't breathe and I was trying to get a nebulizer that the doctor ordered. They were horribly rude every time I called. I ended up using a different company to get it

Horrible follow-up

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to calling LinCare. My experience mirrors everything said here. I submitted a medically prescribed order for a CPAP as a new patient over a month ago and STILL have no equipment. They explain the reason for the delay and then promise to call back with an update... which NEVER happens! No sense of urgency. No accountability. I don't understand how they manage to stay in business.

Unprofessional

Extremely rude delivery drivers especially over the phone. The person that called me for my patients delivery spoke to me like I was a 2 year old and when I asked him not to speak to me like that he actually laughed in my ear. I called and made a complaint and was supposed to be contacted by a supervisor, it never happened and still hasn't. So I have come to the conclusion that they are ok with that. I would not refer this company to anyone.

Wont pick up tanks

They tell me they wont pick up my tanks with out me singing a paper saying i refuse it! This is a scam, calling insurane company and see if thats any help, they paying for or should i say YOU are paying for this for me, (disable)

Bad customer service

I been using Lindcare company for my sleep apnea supply since 2014, this company is the worse medical supply. Since I use the company staff turn over and the news ones are the worse, don't know anything, rude, they only know how to discriminate, hang the phone on me. I just head a pacemaker implanted and need a mask that fits me and don't leak air and I can't get one. Finally Monica a person who works there told me to go somewhere else.
The place I leave is an island with not too many resources.

Terrible

Waited for oxygen tank for TWO months with my provider faxing appropriate documentation over and over again. This company is extremely unprofessional and does not care about anyone but their wallets. Very disappointed. Do not use this supplier if at all possible.

Lincare is one of the 7 approved vendors by my Insurance Company, Aetna. I will be traveling overseas and am looking for a portable CPAP machine to take with me. LIncare doensn't carry any portables because the Insurance Companies will not pay for them. I spoke to Aetna and they don't automatically approve portables, unless it is deemed medically necessary. I explained to the Lincare Rep that I would pay up front if they ordered it for me, and then submit it to Aetna. That would at least simplify my submission, so I don't have to provide Tax ID# & other information for a non-approved Vendor. Lincare would not order it for me and hurried to get me off the phone.

I've been a patient there for about 4yrs. At first I liked it. About 6mnths in that changed. I lived upstairs and I asked that they call when they got there because my doorbell didn't work. I had to constantly go to the office to exchange my tanks. When I saw how they treated patients it made sense that they had new drivers constantly. I was just prescribed a nebulizer and was told they'd deliver it this past Monday. The driver brought my tanks but he had no idea about bringing a nebulizer. I called on Tuesday and asked if my boyfriend could pick it up on his way home from work and was told sure no problem we'll have it ready to go. I called to get their address and when I told them he would be there around 4pm I was told he couldn't pick it up unless he was my power of attorney for healthcare. When I asked why she didn't say that yesterday when I told her he was coming and she said I figured you'd know that. What?! How would I know that? She then says I can bring it on Monday. I'm having a major operation on Wed and the whole reason they have me using a nebulizer is to have my lungs in as good of shape as possible so I don't have to be on a ventilator any longer than necessary. I've decided when I get home from the hospital in a couple weeks I am changing my oxygen provider. If you haven't chosen one yet PLEASE Don't choose Lincare! You'll thank me later

I have been a customer since May 8 for life saving Home Oxygen, prescribed for 24/7. I was promised that a portable concentrater would be made available on my doctor's and insurance approval. I obtained that and am still waiting, the only answer I get is "it's coming" Well so is my death and I would love to be able to go out to dinner or some other entertainment before I die. They have provided tanks, but I am in no condition to load, unload, and haul tanks behind me. I could have purchased my own, and should have saving all this aggravation. I was also over billed by the company on signing up, so much so that in 6 months I still have a credit balance. They never bothered to get the right amount from the insurance company. This is not like buying a TV or some entertainment device, this is literally needed to stay alive.

I don't understand what's wrong with this company. I've been trying to get my CPAP supplies from Lincare for MONTHS now. I have Medicare AND BCBS Supplemental and I think Lincare just doesn't care or doesn't want to pay out legitimate claims. My doctor's office tells me they've been in touch with Lincare, everything is all set, and Lincare will be in touch. Guess what? They don't call. And when I call them I get the runaround.

Well I thought that this was an easy concern. My PAP equipment was put through as a RENTAL not a purchase. Then they started calling to send filters and other "necessary" equipment. I called the local center numerous times, and asked that the center manager cal me about this billing error, he never returned the call. I then called the Icare line, at first this sounded helpful, but nothing was actually accomplished. I was persistent and finally was put in contact with Allison the ICARE manager. I explained the issue to her and stated that I wanted to purchase the equipment myself. I would need a complete price. I asked her to email me an invoice and she said they could not email from the ICARE. Allison then stated she would call me back. When I had not heard from them I called back and she stated that I said that I was returning my equipment. At that point I informed her that the conversation was recorded, would she like to reconsider? I am waiting for her to call back.

Lincare tripled my order 6. 3. 19 and charged me for it. I contacted them and was told they would send a return label and would reimburse me for the extra supplies. Multiple calls and four weeks later I receive the label. Lincare received the return early July but I have not received my reimbursement. I have contacted Lincare, ICare, Billing, Warehouse Management and every other contact they transferred me to. They will no longer return calls or emails and are never available when I call. It will soon be four months since I was overcharged and I still do not have resolution. I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau hoping they can get results. I have easily spent 30 hours of my personal time pursuing this issue and wish I could charge them for my time. Do Not Use This Company!

Not a good company

My first experience with the lady who came out and fitted me was very good, but ever since it been a nightmare, they call leave a message to reorder and you cannot get threw. Then they set me up with auto refill and i still getting messages about calling reorder. So I call and tell them what I want and they put again on auto refill and finally get my stuff and its wrong. I do not have the time or energy to keep going threw this. PLEASE get your act together.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE S' I DO BELIEVE IVE EVERY HAD, NOT ENOUGH TIME OR ENERGY TO EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN WHAT A NIGHTMARE THIS COMPANY IS, TRYING TO GET SUPPLY FOR MY C-PAP HAS BEEN A RUN AROUND TO SAY THE LEAST, IVE GOT TO FIND SOME ONE ELSE, I DONT HAVE THE TIME OR ENERGY TO KEEP DEALING WITH THESE MORONS. FROM THE TIME THEY ANSWER THE PHONE TO ALL THE DEPARTMENTS YOUR GOING TO TALK WITH TO GET NO WHERE YOULL NEED A DOCTOR BY THE TIME YOUR DONE... GOOD LUCK...

I wish I had the time to fully explain how they completely effed up my life etc, but I'll do myself a favor and refrain. I am DEFENITLY finding myself a replacement company, and I will just say that if you enjoy being lied to over and over again and being treated like a POS then go here. Otherwise STAY AWAY!

Change professions please!

If you ever thought for one minute that you had contacted the worst company on the planet then you haven't tried doing business with these bunch of unprofessional misfits! My doctor faxed over every form necessary even offering up my first born child in order to get a CPap machine so I can better my life, only to be placed on hold yet again and again day after day for two weeks straight and asked twice each time for my birth date, first and last name and insurance. Finally after two weeks of going through this nonsense and stress I contacted advanced Oxy Meds in Newburgh NY was fitted the same day and the new machine sits next to my bed waiting for me to breathe into it all night long! Thank you for pushing me out of bed Lincare
PS I wish there was a -10 rating because I would multiply that by 10 more!

The local office doesn't respond to calls. They don't carry sample masks/sized needed to be fitted. They have not responded to multiple calls. The online website doesn't allow for reordering. Reordering must be done through an email which expires if you don't order with a time period. I didn't need supplies when the email came out. Now I do, and I have to wait until next email that supplies can be ordered. Never seen such a pathetically run company.
