I ordered from lightsonline. All was good when I received an email informing me of that. I was told that I would be notified when the item was back in stock before it would ship.
The date came and went that I was told the lights would be available. I emailed customer service and received no response. I called and repeatedly got voicemail. I left a detailed message as requested and was never called back. I gave up and ordered the lights from another vendor after emailing lightsonline to cancel my order.
Then today I simply get a notice that the lights were shipped. Again I called customer service and guess what? NO ANSWER, just voicemail. Now I am beyond angry. I then receive an email telling me that I did not ever email them nor did I call them, therefore I did not cancel the order. Same as calling me a liar. I then forwarded copies of the emails that I sent. I can honestly say I am shocked by the utter lack of customer service and the snide remarks made in their email was unbelievable.
Frederick Cooper (FC) Lamps are, apparently, made in China by FC described "artisans"; they are drop shipped from Lights Online, apparently. The quality of the rather expensive (almost 500 dollars) FC lamp I received is what one would expect in a lamp found in the scratch and dent section of your local Big Lots. And no offense intended towards Big Lots. Having called LightsOnline customer service (*******562) multiple times with no one answering the phone and no response either to my voice mail or my email complaint regarding this product, I would have to rate LightsOnline right down there with FC Lamps in general. Based on my personal experience with this single order and the complete lack of any customer service received as a result of my purchasing an exorbitantly priced piece of junk, I would never recommend this company to anyone, including people I really dont like. Buyer beware!
