We monitor reviews for authenticity
Their response to my cancellation was so vague it could have been for any reason at all. Once you've accrued too many points, they will lock you out.
That's unfair because they've collected lots of data and not fulfilled their part of the compensation.
I have been a dedicated LifePoints member for a number of years and prior to that that when they were Global Test Market.
I tried to use my account over the weekend to find out that my membership had been cancelled. I immediately contacted them to be informed that I had after an audit I had violated their terms and conditions and all my points had been forfitted.
I am extremely upset by this action, I am a loyal member and have always answered surveys truthfully and honestly.
It's not just about Losing my points, which I had an accumulated at lot, it's the fact that I enjoyed participating and felt that my responses help towards how businesses develop.
This was shocking news and has made me feel that participation was worthless
As I have said in reply to my review, I am totally disappointed by Lifepoints actions; I feel that I have been unfairly judged. Lifepoints helped me when my account was hacked last year, their customer service was so helpful. I wonder if this has effected my account and this is why my membership was cancelled? I expected more from Lifepoints, at this time I will not be recommending them. Under these circumstances part of me feels that the companies using Lifepoints should be made aware if these questionable practices. I cannot understand how a company can maintain a policy which enables them to end a participants membership and withdraw all their accumulated benefits without notice or specific details for the reason why. Given the value of my accumulated benefits that have been forfeited, I will also be reporting this to the office of the financial ombudsman given that I have not been supplied with any detail regarding which terms and conditions have been breached and therefore no opportunity to appeal this decision by providing counteracting evidence in my defence.

After giving lifepoints a bad review on this site for not being able to access my account and stealing my points without any reason I actually got a reply from them asking me to reply and they said they would take another look at why my account was closed and access not given...
Well i did all they asked and guess what,they never replied,its obvious they said that on this site to make readers think they would help,,,
Take my advice stay away from this cowboy site,find a better one that you can actually relate to.be warned!

This app is a scam as they will cancel your membership without warning and out of nowhere claiming that you have violated their terms and conditions. Despite no rules being broken, they told me there was overwhelming evidence that I had violated these despite only completing one survey in the week that led up to this. They will not explain to you what it is that you have done wrong and remove any points that you have earnt. Take out your points while you can and then delete this app. Awful customer service and treatment of those who spend their time using their service.

As others have noted, they close your account without notice and no real reason after submitting a ticket. Don't waste your time! I signed up and only did surveys for 1 day.

Lifepoints lulled me in at a time that I was recovering from surgery, had plenty of time to do surveys, and could have used some extra money. I immediately began getting surveys that were worth up to 400 points. Many of them asked very personal questions, but I thought it was legit. But I was getting kicked out of most of them within a minute of me listing my occupation as "media-related," as I am a freelance reporter. Within two hours, my membership was canceled. After days of hitting them up for an answer, I got the following message: "We've had some feedback from our survey partners and/or our Quality Team and they've let us know that your account has been suspended due to poor survey practices.
These could include, but are not limited to, the following reasons:
Inconsistencies in your survey responses
Inconsistencies in your survey profile
Speeding through survey
Straight lining (providing identical/similar responses to every question in the survey)
False geographic location
Multiple accounts"
NONE of this was true and I responded in kind and accused them of steeling personal information from me and cutting me off when they got what they wanted or because they were afraid that I was investigating them as a reporter. I also told them that I was going to turn the matter over to our local state police. Their final response: "Your inquiry was escalated for further review. The Terms and Condition violations have been confirmed and the account(s) will remain closed.
LifePoints reserves the right to terminate any membership suspected of Terms and Condition violations and further forfeit all awards earned from said account.
LifePoints does not reveal how investigations are conducted or the measures taken to investigate memberships. This policy is a precaution to prevent future circumvention of our security measures and/or investigative tactics.
LifePoints always errs on the side of the member, and the evidence must be overwhelming to result in membership termination. The evidence in your case was overwhelming.
Therefore, your membership(s) were terminated and all associated LifePoints (LPs)/awards were forfeited upon membership termination.

So, I was quite happily carrying out surveys and got to the point of having a reward worth claiming and BOOM - they cancelled my membership with no warning. I asked them why and all they would tell me was that I had "violated their rules". I looked and could see no reason that I could possibly have done so.

I was completing a survey yesterday and suddenly my account was canceled. They canceled without any reason. No explanation was giving to me but to wait for a response. I tried to change my password and it still hasn't worked. This is false advertisement me and this website should be reported and shut down immediately. I'm extremely disappointed in them.

I use a number of survey sites including LifePoints. I have great ratings with all of these sites and have not had any complaints about the responses I have provided. I was in the middle of a survey on LifePoints, when I was kicked out and I got a message that my account had canceled... WITH NO EXPLANATION! I reached out to LifePoints Support Team to if they could help to get my account reinstated. The support team would send canned emails that did not give me any explaination of what happened. Finally I got a canned response that they didn't like my responses and there was nothing more they could do. I am fine if they do not want me to use LifePoints anymore, it was a subpar site that is not as good as the other surveys sites that I use. The problem I have is that they canceled my account without letting me redeem all the points that I have earned... THAT'S ILLEGAL! The least they could do is let me redeem the points that I had already earned. I would highly recommend staying away from LifePoints or the same thing could happen to you. I know that my responses were good and I did not use any language that was unprofessional. The only reason I am giving LifePoints 1 star, is because they will not allow no stars.

When I first started with LifePoint's panel I was impressed with how professional it was. LifePoints is part of Lightspeed LLC and they are under the umbrella of Kantar. It was a great site until it wasn't.
The first thing I noticed was that the rewards that I had applied for and that were processing were suddenly returned to my account. I thought perhaps PayPal was offline or something. The next day I couldn't access my account. I emailed atleast 3 times and I have received no reply.
I am 71 years old, on a fixed income and LifePoints made sure that they got their 20$ back of money I had legally earned. I have no idea why my account was "unavailable" or why I received no explanation.

Do not join Lifepoints!
I took the time to read all the fine print. LifePoints basically states they have the right to close your account any time for any reason. Also states they can stop the redemption of anything earned by you for any reason anytime. It states they can change terms and conditions in any way at anytime. States its your responsibility to keep checking for changes. Basically they are covering themselves to do whatever they want at anytime and you dont have any comeback. It gives them the right to do whatever they please with anything earnt by you... Take the time to read all Terms and Conditions relating to this site...
Your account balance gets too high, they will cancel you and you forfeit every dime you've earned.

This is my second request for a full accounting of my debits, credits and redeemed points. Your recent deduction of points I earned has left my account in the negative without any explanation as to why or any response to my multiple requests for the return of my earned rewards being withheld from me without notice or my right to respond to any aligation of fraud or misrepresentation.
I will not be participating in any surveys or trials until this matter is solved to my satisfaction. LifePoints is well aware of how many of their surveys are taken by millions of members who never receive compensation for their honest answers and are too busy to make a complaint. How many hundreds of questions did I answer only to be knocked out of money earned at the end unable to submit.

Absolutely disgusting company. After almost two years of doing the surveys they blocked my account without any reasons. As I saw other members had the same issue, I consider this company as scam, fraud which should be taken to the officials what I am going to do, because they owe me vouchers which I couldn't receive due to the fact that they blocked my account. The only response I receive from the support is that please wait, your case is escalated. More than a week and still nothing

Like most of the other reviews I had my account canceled for no reason. I attempted to contact the company with no response or answer. I used them for several years and wasn't even able to cash in my last rewards. What a waste or time and effort. Please don't waste your time with them!

Was happily doing surveys when next day I couldn't login. When I emailed them to ask why I could not access my account they replied saying my account did not pass some security checks! For a survey site? Seems as though they disabled my account and kept my points. Don't waste your time with this crooked company. Read all the negative reviews which all say the same thing

I have been a member for probably 20 years, from when it was Global Test Market and My Survey. All of a sudden my membership has been canceled. I wrote LifePoints and got a form response stating that my account was suspended for suspected violations. I have never done anything dishonest or unethical. I am a 71 year old woman who prides myself on my integrity. I had over 5000 points accumulated as well. I see many similar complaints. I saw your response and submitted another ticket using the link and term you recommended. I hope I can be reinstated as this is totally unfounded and unfair.

I have been taking surveys with LifePoints for a few years now. All of the sudden I am not able to login and the HelpDesk sent an email stating I was answering questions untruthfully. I have dedicated many hours to get not many points for each survey and they basically just said we have terminated your membership and taken all your points. It is complete BS and this company if a fraud. You can't pay your bills so you decide to terminate someone who dedicates time to making some extra money for kids Christmas gifts. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Well i was with Lifepoihts for quite a few months and was pleased that i made more points then woth other survey sites. Only around a $10 gift card a month average the only issue i didnt like was waiting a week to get your digital reward after cashing out. Then when i had racked up enough points to cash out finally for a $25 gift card abruptley i got an error message saying i.my accoubt had been closed. Took 2 weeks for some idiot frim their customer service to get back to me to just say my account was closed do to my survey responses. Also i was being bombarded with telemarketer phone calls ever since i joined this site. It looks like they sell your info let you take surveys for a little while then cancel your account before you can cash out points. Very shady company i hope they are closed down soon.

In Canada it is illegal to not have an opt out for receiving emails. When Lifepoints was contacted the answer received was, "too bad, cancel your membership then". They have been reported to the CRTC and BBB.

Answer: I don't think anyone has the answer for that one. There are a lot of us in the same boat. You can email 'Emma' but I wouldn't hold your breath for a reply. Just advise anyone thinking of joining My Survey not to bother.
Answer: It might pay for a little while, then judging by the reviews on here including my own, they deactivate your account giving no reason and if you've got money you haven't claimed you won't get it. If you pester 'Emma', eventually she sends emails telling you they deactivated your account because your account was used in another country or internet cafe. It would seem this happens a lot. I would say if you're going to try it, don't let any points build up before you cash out because you're likely to be disappointed.
Answer: I never felt this as a scam since I have already recieved my gift cards in a short span of time.
Answer: Typically it may take upto 5 days for the PayPal to transfer the amount to your account. One thing you have to note that the e-mail for the LifePoints account and PayPal account should be the same, which I faced due to which some delay happened to me.
