1. My LG compressor died on a 2 year refrigerator
2. LG said they would send in a repair order.
3. Waited from 8 - 5 pm today with many back and forths on the live chat to verify someone was coming. I was assured a tech was coming from Brandsmart in Alexandria, VA. Total waste of time. Misinformation. Didn't know their $#*! from their head. But -- oh, was I assured. I had asked LG to call Brandsmart to verify because I could not get a hold of the company on it business line.
4, At 5 pm I contacted LG AGAIN on live chat because you can't get a live person on the Customer Service line.
5. I also got a hold of Brandsmart who had no information on my case.
6. LG said they sent the order. Who to believe?
7. LG chat which is some guy in India escalated my concern. They can't provide me a number to call and talk to a live person because they have no numbers. Ok -- right. I believe you -- NOT.
8. Last chat response.: The response will be 24-48 business hours.
9. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I'll be lucky if this gets resolved at all.
SHAME ON YOU LG FOR BAD COMPRESSORS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. No wonder you are being sued.

LG stole over £600
I've ordered a monitor a week and a half in advance for a birthday. On the day of the delivery I was informed by the delivery company that LG has not dispatched my order. After calling them multiple times and being told that they will only have the item in stock almost a week later, I've decided to cancel.
I was told that it will take 19 working days to get a refund, which was already ridiculous, but now 10 days later, I'm being told that that's it's going to take another 14! Working days for the refund ( and that's after I had to call them to get this information).
Biggest piece of advice! Get your stuff on Amazon or smt. Just not on LG, unless you want to get your money stolen.
Bought our new fridge on Black Friday deal last November. Waited to install it until our house was done being built which was a month ago. Until then the fridge sat in my parents garage. When we moved in a month ago we Installed our "new" fridge and got an error code "CHE". Had a service guy out here 3 times and still not working. The customer service people are very unhelpful and rude. Will never buy a LG unit again. Very disappointed! Won't recommend LG to anyone. We have 9 month old twins and not having a working fridge isn't OK! I would give them a 0 star rating.
LED tv and we got the delivery of the product late and also at the time of installation I got the time commitment but the installation was not done on time the
Technician was abusing to the customer as I was having a conversation with my friends and the technician thought I abused him and after tha the technician call and with out any clarification the technician started abusing badly so please i would request to have a lookin in this matter thanks
LG needs to discontinue and stop selling refrigerators! Our fridge lasted barely a year before giving out. Every technician I have contacted has said LG is the worst and not easy to fix. They are known for their compressors going out and are too expensive to replace. I will never buy LG again and they should not be allowed to continue production especially at their outrageous prices
Purchased a brand new LG dryer on Oct. 7,2023. Hooked it up 3 days later only to discover that it makes a loud thrashing noise and shuts off within 2 seconds. Spend a week back and forth between LG and seller before LG scheduled a service call. Waited a week for service tech who said it needed a new motor. Waited 2 weeks for new motor. New motor installed today Nov. 8,2023. Same problem. Tech called LG service center. They said for him to order another motor. If the second replacement motor does not fix the problem to then order a mother board. Another month with a broken LG dryer.
One star because I couldn't choose zero. My washer was 2 yo, I paid just under $1,000. It is misleading as it says on the machine, 10 year warranty. Come to find out the warranty is not for the mother board. The mother board went out, LG has none I. Stock and no longer makes this part. This washer was not on a close out sale. Who sells a full priced product and is unable to support it for 2 years? When I emailed and called the company I had no response at all. Don't buy LG!
LG Electronics have the worst service and a nightmare TV. I never thought I would hate a TV as much as I hate the LG TV! It's a shame you cannot get help! The television consistently kicks you off the Internet, regardless of running your own home Internet. Apparently it's a common problem with the LG TV after looking up how to fix the problem. I regret purchasing this television..
It took forever for new refrigerator to be repaired. Thank goodness we had another fridge in the garage. Customer service is outsourced. Had to call regarding a shipment of filters that did not arrive. Took 20 minutes to go through various channels and then the call was dropped, so I had to go through the same nonsense again.
We bought a fridge from LG, it failed from the beginning with frosting up in the first 2 years. The fan would frost up and stop. Now it has stopped cooling completely. I paid the deposit to repair the compressor that I was told has a 10 year warranty... and it has been 6 years, they cancelled the appointment 2 days later with a text and told me there are no other service representatives available for the foreseeable future. Unbelievable and AWFUL. Really disappointed... :(
Marlon, he was great from the time he walked through the door. Unfazed by the mess another vendor had made of my tv. Professional and offered suggestions on how to improve layout of our tv. I would highly recommend him.
We remodeled our kitchen We purchased a brand new LG range. The front panel did not operate as it is some sort of computerized thing. We have had three repair people so far over two months and each time indicated it was not repairable. Now they are saying the repairman said we refused repair. LG has completely turned their back on us and left us with nothing to cook our food with but they took our $1,400 and provided no relief forb this defective appliance. The only thing that works is the top burners
I bought the stove range with them and less than a year; the counterpart glass cracked and they said that it was physical damage and they won't replace or repair it. Even if they do send out a repair person; it is on your own expense. I work for the Fire Department and we have ordered a few stove range and they all have the same problem; counterpart glass cracked. I have assumed the customer service that I will never order another LG brand for the Fire Department and for my house.
A few years ago I bought a new 55" LG TV. Within 2 years the screen/picture only showed half the screen and the rest was black. LG was no help in fixing the problem. I gave them a 1 rating but they really deserve a 0. I will never buy another LG product as long as I live.
It appears that GE decided to get in bed with LG and have appliances made in South Korea. Its also appears that the appliances are built to last 5 years which is just past the point of the warranty. I purchased a LG refrigerator in January of 2019. I have a five year warranty. The warranty is with a third party CPS which is also probably owned by GE or LG. I have not had a refrigerator for over 4 days and all i get is lip service. Send us the invoice, what is your name, agree to our terms, etc.
We bought a top of the line LG frig in 2018. We purchased the ext warranty. It stopped cooling 3 yrs later. They replaced the compressor. It went out again April '23. They said we were out of warranty so we paid $500. They replaced the compressor again. It stopped cooling again October. They claim the warranty was only good for 3 mos. Well called to schedule a visit. One week later...still no food, no cooling, no call back, NO APPOINTMENT. They transfer you around, claim to escalate your case, send more emails...and still no one calls you back. When YOU call THEM they say the phone number isnt verified. And on and on and on. SAME with service for their glass top range. Service is awful. Products dont hold up. Warranty is garbage!
I have contacted LG in regards to a recall on my dishwasher. Have been transferred to several different people and told several different companies to call to repair my dishwasher. All repair companies given do not service my address. Called back and was told I needed to pay $299 for a service technician to come out from LG. The company cannot give me a tech in the area and now want $299 to send someone to my home that might or might not show up. Terrible customer service. Last LG product I will ever purchase.
I prachese water purifier before 3 days still no one come fix this I get only message when I call tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow so sad please fix this issue no one have time wating now's days every one time costly
Fridge is only 5 years old and stopped cooling. I had a technician come out and diagnosed it as being the compressor that failed. He advised me that there is a class action lawsuit on the compressor for my model fridge. The first phone call, the guy was nice. He took my info but never called me back. My second phone call was HORRIBLE! The lady I spoke with was very rude and basically told me she could not help me. Multiple phone calls later, and I found out today that LG would not help me with the repair due to it says on the sticker "refurbished ". I told them I did not know when I bought the fridge that it was refurbished. Also the compressor is still the same compressor involved in the suit. That was never touched and I have pictures to prove it. He told me that LG is not willing to help me with the cost of repairs. I will NEVER purchase another LG product ever again. They DO NOT stand by their product! STAY AWAY FROM LG PEOPLE! He offered me a coupon towards a replacement but there is NO WAY I would purchase another product of theirs if they do not stand behind it. You lost a good customer LG.
TV is six months old, it has been wall mounted the entire time. Today, 10-15-2023, suddenly for no reason, black lines appeared in the middle of the screen. LG support LIES and says it is impact damage and is not covered under warranty. There is and never was any impact damage whatsoever. LG products are over priced rubbish that come from some sweat shop in India. LG would rather lie to its customers than to stand behind their so called warranty. My advise to everyone is to never buy any LG product. Everything they make is garbage, and their warrantees are worthless.
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
Answer: THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SEND OUR REFUND AFTER PROMISING WE HAD SENT THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.
