I purchased an LG kitchen suite just over six years ago. I had to replace the microwave 2 years ago, had a problem with the door switch on the dishwasher, had to replace a heating element on the oven and now the compressor on the refrigerator failed. I paid them for a service for a repair and they can't get a service tech here in southwest Florida to repair it. They don't have any service people here to repair. I'm sorry I ever purchased LG appliances as they have a class action law suit against them for the compressor. Customer service is horrible. They keep you on hold forever and never come up with a viable solution.
I regret to share my dissatisfaction with the service provided by LG. Despite my attempts to seek assistance via emails and calls for a gas leak issue in my LG AC unit, I have not received a response from any level within the organization. Due to this poor service, I cannot recommend LG products. Complaint number: RNP*******648.
Had my LG flat screen for 5 years! Great pixels and all. I also have to mention I am a clean freak. I'm always dusting my appliances with a feather duster. Anyway, it so happens that my WiFi will not connect with my tv and the hdmi inputs won't work! Tv is useless now. I went to a lg forum and it so happens that a lot of people are having the same issues! I will never again by an LG!
I bought and LG LTCS******* fridge 1.5 yrs ago. I have two shelves where the plastic holding the glass is cracked - one actually fell out.

Bought 2 dishwashers and both of the the motors went out. Nothing is ever covered in the warranty. They will insist on sending a tech out which would cost more than going and buying a cheap dishwasher. I will never buy a LG product again.
I've bought 3 LG products. A smart TV, an LCD TV, and a "high end" refrigerator.
The Smart TV has a faulty WiFi component, I've fixed it 3 times and it's failed every time (subsequently I can't utilize any smart features); I've come to find out that this is a common theme among LG SmartTVs.
The LCD TV has a faulty display that inverts colors and freezes 70% of the time, I have to do a total reset if the tv via unplugging it and turning it back on; sometimes not even this works.
My refrigerator is less than 11 months old and the compressor has failed. My wife and I found our freezer foods thawed out and our refrigerator foods at room temperature. I followed the troubleshooting instructions such as checking the seals and unplugging the refrigerator and then replugging it in to see if it reset the compressor to no avail.
Overall, I'm done with LG products. I've waisted thousands of dollars on their subpar products which are cheaply made from the lowest quality components.
I purchased my entire kitchen through ABT, which was all LG appliances. Within the first couple years, the refrigerator compressor burned out and the stove also burned out. Recently, the dishwasher motor has burned out. This was diagnosed over the phone through LG and ABT appliances by the error code that was displayed and the burnt motor smell coming from the unit. Fortunately, the dishwasher motor has a 10 year warranty but LG, and ABT refuse to replace the motor or swap it out, unless I pay a service fee and wait multiple weeks for a tech to come out even though I work on these machines all the time, and I am fully capable of replacing the motor myself. I want customers to be aware that LG appliances do not last longer than a couple years before they will need service. After talking to a tech, I was informed that there is a class action lawsuit against LG for their refrigerators and in his experience LG appliances are not worth the money and will continue to cost you money as long as you own them. Also I'd like to add while on the phone with LG customer service to see if they would replace the motor or swap it out or at least give me a discount on it even though it's warranted so I can get the repair done sooner I was hung up on unknowingly and stayed on the line for 30 minutes before hanging up.
I bought a set of appliances, fridge, microwave, oven and dishwasher and have only had it less than 2yrs and the all have gone bad in one way or another; bad compressor after 2yrs, microwave handle broke off, stove numbers don't display, numbers on temperature dial erased while cleaning, fan and light on microwave do not turn on anymore. Before LG I had GE and it lasted me 20yrs with no problem! We only upgraded because they were old. Will never buy LG again and will not recommend it to anybody I know.
"Purchased a 75inch UHD smart TV ( not cheap) and after 2 years of moderate use it had a blue hue to the picture. As time (3 months) went by it got worse. Did my research and found that LG used defective LED strips from a company called Vestel and it is a common complaint from thousands of LG TV owners. Contacted LG customer service ( A real joke there) and they refused to do anything about it even after acknowledging that the LED strips were indeed defective! I asked them as a customer service option, make on offer at a reasonable price to replace the TV and they refused. They were dismissive and could care less about your concerns This is NOT A COMPANY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. Horrible

Waiting over three weeks for LG to send missing parts on an LG cordless vacuum cleaner. Spoke to them on February 1 set a week to 10 days called today on February 20. Still under review need more documentation never had the courtesy to tell me that they needed more documentation. What a scam I will never ever ever buy in any LG product as long as I live.
Terrible customer service ordered American fridge freezer cost over £1400 as it was boxed couldn't check for damage now when opened reported dent on it it's still in protective cover but as it's been over 3 days from 30 day policy refused to replace even though sent picture it's not even installed yet. Company have poor customer care and no loyalty towards customers still have plastic over on as it's just been taken out from box
I have 3 LG products in the house and they are all garbage. No customer service available. 2 months waiting for dishwasher to be fixed without any resolve in site. Don't get me started on the crap TVs. Software issues all day and night. Nobody has time for this. This is just poor products and service. Don't buy them.
Requested a technician to fix the issue with oven not heating up but turns out it was my house's electrical voltage not being enough. He was here not even an hour, did not and could not fix the issue and still charged me nearly $400. I called LG customer support for a refund and they have been playing hide and seek with me. I don't even make that much in a whole day!
On December, 27th 2023 I ordered a part on LGPARTS.COM. Because was written "for all LG refrigerators" I thought that would fit mine, but the part was too small, then I returned it on January, 4th 2024. The part was delivered on January, 5th 2024. On January, 9th I sent an email asking when I was would get my money back and got a response from LGPARTS.COM saying "credit will be issued in 3-5 business days. I waited until the 6th business day, checked my bank account and no credit from LG parts on my account. I emailed them once again and again all I got was apologies but no my refund. Every time I contact them, all that I have from them are apologies and "please wait 3-5 for a refund. Today, 02/06/2024, a month after I've returned the part, I still haven't gotten any money back from them. I, then sent an email asking to return the part which I had paid $128.76. My response "We apologize for this inconvenience. A request has been resubmitted to issue refund. Please allow 3-5 business days for credit to post." This was 5 business days ago.
This is the worst company I've ever seen. Don't recommend to anyone!
Will lie to you about warranty, no customer service reps who are first language English speakers, customer service is completely unhelpful and they apparently have no management or supervisors to help either.
I bought an LG Gram laptop computer. It was wonderful. It weighed 2.2 lbs.! It had the latest Intel chip in it. I loved it. And then unexpectedly, of all things to go wrong, the hinge. THE HINGE! Failed. It broke.
I paid 1800 bucks for this machine. And the damned hinge broke. OK. So, LG wanted 500 bucks to fix the damned hinge. And I paid it! $ 500 bucks, a year after I bought it. And they fixed it! OK. I'm alright...right? But then after six months, the hinge failed. Now I am in for this for $ 2300 bucks.
And they took it back and fixed my hinge. Am I alright. YES. This hinge lasted less than 1 year, so I, of course, contacted LG to fix their ill-conceived, ill-designed hinge again. Their answer was NO! The product was now over three years old. But their repair was less than one year old. They told me NO!
And now I can tell you, DO NOT BUY AN LG LAPTOP! THEY HAVE A DESIGN FLAW WITH THE HINGE. AND THEY WILL NOT STAND BY IT!
DO NOT BUY AN LG LAPTOP...OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY MAKE. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT!

Got an LG refrigerator from Lowe's. Thought it would be good since her TVs are good but I was wrong. I will never buy another LG refrigerator as long as I live because it's made very poorly especially when trying to replace the water filter and nothing works very right the water taste like plastic and call the service department and they suck. Want me to use tools to move something around that can break They suck.
I've bought 3LG blueberry players within the last year. Within 6 months they stopped playing disks altogether. Getting really tired of LGs inferior stupid mediocre products. Yup 6 months old!
Answer: They have dangerous appliances, and refused to reimburse us for the repair of an almost new (but over 1 year old) oven that was clearly a manufacturing defect (see image.)
Answer: THEY ARE NOT GOING TO SEND OUR REFUND AFTER PROMISING WE HAD SENT THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.
