This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered a refrigerator in November, which was delivered late December. I've had several issues which have still not been resolved. I just sent them the email below today (Jan. 16,2023):

Good Morning,

Since I received this refrigerator, the shelves have never worked for me. Anytime I place something on it, it falls off. I have called on numerous occasions all to no avail. The first time I spoke to a representative, I was informed that someone will come over and check it for me which never happened. I made subsequent calls and was transferred to at least 7 different people during each call, none of whom took responsibility.

I have been patient enough and at this point, I want to return the refrigerator because I cannot pay for a non functioning refrigerator. At the same time, if this issue is not resolved in the next three days, I will report the issue to the Better Business Bureau.

This is just unacceptable.

I purchased a LG Refrigerator, and LG washer, and and LG dryer. A week before the warranty expired the refrigerator and the dryer both broke. I filed a request for service under the warranty. Did not hear from LG. Called them about problem. Their response was the warranty was expired and that I would have to pay for service. I told them I filed the claim before the warranty expired. They said they had no records. I told them I had e-mails confirming the claim. I still have them. They said they would have someone call me back to discuss the claim. Never heard from them. I will not buy any LG product again. If you do it's your money and your loss.

I have had LG and works great, but their new machines are not as good as the ones they made before; I bought a new machine in Oct. Water leaked from the door, so I had to go directly to the store where I bought it from, and they helped me get a complete refund. The store manager of this Home Depot was kind enough to help me get a refund. Lg itself was horrible and also Home Depot Alliance Customer care is not very good, this Gentleman, the Manager of The Aurora Home Depot was amazing and very kind and very helpful. Thank You to him or I would not have gotten my money back and would have been left with a new and defected machine, my advise is to buy things from good people.

Stopped working after nine months
This LG refrigerator (model LMXS*******D) stopped cooling after nine months. Even worse was the customer service process through LG. I was without a fridge for 3-1/2 weeks before LG contracted A & E Service to do the repair. I estimate I made 28 phone calls, texts, or e-mails to LG to try and get warranty service. Multiple phone calls after repair to try and receive compensation for lost food. LG service holds you captive, will not allow you to speak with supervisors, will not return calls and will hang up on you. I can confidently say I would never purchase another LG product.

Garbage Company

We ordered a computer monitor and it arrived with a crack right out of the box. With any other company you would just request a replacement and they would send you a return label for the damaged one. But not with LG. First we called them and they said that we need to wait up to 3 days for an email with the return label. We asked to exchange the monitor and they said that it would be easier just to order a new one. When we went to re-order, it was no longer on sale and we contacted LG again. They said that we would have to wait for an email with a discount code. No email was ever sent. We sent back the monitor and decided to buy one from a different company instead. The tracking info shows that LG received the monitor back over 2 weeks ago yet they did not process a refund. I talked to the chat agent and they said they couldn't help and gave me a number for a parts department. I called the parts department and they said that I had to call to a different department. They then connected me to some lady in India who barely spoke English and had a horrible connection with an echo. She put me on hold then disconnected the call. At this point I just gave up and disputed the transaction with my credit card. Honestly LG should be embarrassed by the customer service and refund system it has in place. This is the last time I ever buy an LG product.

I am speaking on behalf of my octogenarian parents. They purchased an LG refrigerator 5 years ago from Lowe's (Lowe's is not really part of the issue). About 6 months ago they started having problems with the fridge, called a technician out to have it worked on, they fixed it, it worked for about 2-3 weeks and then stopped working again. They did this 4 times until the 5th time they had an LG repairman come out and say it was not repairable. Still under warranty, my parents attempted to get what might be available to them to help offset the cost of another fridge. They could not find the receipt (which I still believe is around but they keep everything so you can't find anything) so they went to Lowe's. They did have record of them purchasing a fridge but it didn't say the specific info about the fridge. So now LG is trying everything they can to not pay anything. Interestingly, another department sent $200 to offset the cost of the food they lost. But you wouldn't believe the absolute run around that LG has given my poor 84 year old mother. Via text message, they said she had to have a sticker off the fridge that showed that it was torn in half. This was after texting back and forth for some time. This was three weeks after they had to get another fridge and of course, the people that installed the new fridge took the old fridge away. Then they said that because it wasn't specific on the receipt that they couldn't do anything. Now today, (Jan 2,2023) they are saying that they can't give them any money because they didn't respond to their calls. TO THEIR CALLS? REALLY? You mean, the calls where when you answer, nobody is there? If you purchase an LG appliance, rest assured that if you have issues with it that will require you to use the warranty that you will get the run around. I can't believe that LG would treat their customers like trash like this. Rest assured that they did NOT purchase another LG appliance and I will not purchase anything LG for the home that I am building.

Purchased a tv on 10/16/22 scheduled delivery was cancelled 8 or more times. Cancelled order 11/22/22. Have yet to receive refund 12/30/22. They have used my $ 1309.80 long enough. Send refund! They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! Many, Many calls & emails to both trucking company & LG. I am so disgusted with both.

No Return Policy on XMAS present

I ordered a sound bar for my son on XMAS. LG recommended the SPY9A. I bought it on 12/6, received delivery on 12/9. Tried to integrate on my son's system (not doable with several HDMI inputs - XBOX, PS, DVD players etc.) No joy. Called LG on the 28th. They said so sorry, you had until the 24th - 25 CALENDAR days. Really? So here i am stuck with something that is not useful to me. Anyone need a sound bar cheap?

Worst refrigerator ever!

We bought all LG appliances for our new house. The refrigerator has been nothing but a problem, and trying to get LG to fix it has been nothing but a pain. Passed from one person to the next getting asked the same questions over and over again. One lady said they would cover it 100% then a man with a horrible accent that you couldn't even understand said it wasn't covered. Now being told some of it is covered and some of it isn't. Our dishwasher doesn't even get the dishes clean absolutely horrible appliances ALL OF THEM are HORRIBLE! Do not buy LG it's a waste of your hard earned money!

It's an endless non customer support loop. LFL Group owns both: State & King Insurance and many stores (Leon's, Brick….) They will knowingly sell and deliver appliances with extended warranty's to locations that they will not provide technical support for. State and King will stall and promise for weeks and ultimately say they can't send anyone to fix it and offer a percentage store credit $800-$900 on a $2267 fridge (4-1/2 hrs old) not to mention the $435 we paid for the extended warranty on the appliance package we bought. The fridge should have been fixed free of charge.

We called LG directly, they said they would send a technician, after almost 10 days we called back and they said sorry can't make a technician appointment with ARS. ARS the LG authorized appliance repair company said LG never sent a requisition. When we called back LG was going to offer a buy back until they found out we had an extended warranty, they would do nothing, despite the fridge still being under warranty for sealed parts(compressor), they said go after King and State.

It's like LFL group jerks you around with their insurance company till you pay them more at the store.

LG offers the same then reneges if you bought the useless insurance.

Moral of story, modern appliances are lousy, don't waste money on the extra insurance it will cover nothing and it apparently absolves the manufacturer of their warranty. We were jerked around for 17 days no fridge, would've been longer but we kept calling them all.

The only break came with the Local Leon's GM reading our review explaining this situation. He agreed to a fair rebate we ended up paying an extra $407 for a new fridge(not an LG) instead of $1,100 that King and States offer would work out to.

DO NOT BUY ANY KIND OF REFRIGERATOR FROM THIS COMPANY, I PURCHASED A 3500 LG REFRIGERATOR 3 YEARS AGO IT HAS BROKEN DOWN ON ME TWICE BOTH TIMES THE COMPRESSOR, THE FIRST TIME IT TOOK 2.5 MONTHS TO GET IT SOME WHAT FIXED AND NOW IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN WITH THE SAME NO COOLING PROBLEM WHICH I CAN ONLY ASSUME ITS THE COMPRESSOR AGAIN, THEN THEY GIVE ME SOME BS THAT THEY ARE GOING TO REIMBURST ME FOR MY LOST IN FOOD THAT I FILED ALL THE FORMS TO DO SO AND NEVER RECIEVED A PENNY, THIS IS MY LAST LG PRODUCT I WILL EVER BUY AND WILL BE TELL ALL THAT I CAN TO WALK AWAY FROM THIS MANUFACTURER!

Bait and Switch

My LG Washtower WKGX201HGA.AGGEEUS was delivered today and did not have the gas hose for attaching the dryer to the gas line and was missing 2 washer hoses. I had to pay the plumber for the 3 hoses. Part of my purchase from LG was supposed to include the removal and install done by the delivery crew. However, I had to pay a plumber to both disconnect the gas line from the old dryer and to have them connect the LG Washtower to the gas line since only a licensed plumber can legally deal with gas lines.
I would like a refund for the installation fee I had to pay to my plumber and for the missing hoses for my appliance. I have the plumber's invoice attached to this email which includes the disconnect, the install and the hoses as well as my receipt for the appliance taht states includes installation and removal.

This is the response I got:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting LG Online Brandshop Support. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience. We regret to inform you that LG does not offer reimbursement for out of the pocket expenses. Once again, our sincere apologies.

I do not have an issue with LG washer and dryer that I bought The issue I have is that I ordered a pedestal for the LG dryer online! They're delivery company RXO is the worst delivery company I've ever dealt with! RXO the trucking company that's used by LG rescheduled and canceled six different times. I finally canceled the order and it took two months to get my refund back. SO I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER ANY LG PRODUCT ONLINE. JUST GO TO RXO'S WEBSITE AND LOOK AT THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE SAME POSITION I WAS. THEY ORDERED SOMETHING FROM LG ONLINE AND RXO LET THEM DOWN EVERY TIME. NOTHING BUT HEADACHES.

LG Dual inverter Window AC is not worth buying.

I brought brand new LG Dual inverter Window AC and in two and a half year its condenser and cooling coil got damaged. Can't believe such a huge brand can't provide a good product, or is it that i got a bad product from such a big company. I had to waste 7500 rupees in 2.5 years. So not expected from company like LG. My usage was very minimal, like 3 to 4 hours a day. Still Cooling coil has damaged to unrepairable. If any body come to know that within 2.5 years Ac might require 7k investment, no body will buy this product.

LG must mean "Low Grade"

We bought all new LG appliances, including a washer and dryer. Right away we started having problems. The freezer drawer had ice around the seal and when we open it - ice falls on the floor. They sent a guy out to repair it, but he only made it worse. LG said they'd refund our purchase price within 6 to 8 weeks. We are still waiting on the refund several months later.
The "paint" on the bottom of our new LG oven started to bubble and peal off. They sent a guy out with some paint that didn't match and it looks worse now than it did. They said they'd send us a refund... again still waiting.
The numbers on the new LG microwave are flickering. We notified LG... no one came to look at it and they've stopped responding to us. Don't buy LG appliances, they don't stand behind what they sell.

FDV309W LG Tumble dryer

LG FDV309W heat pump tumble dryer £649. I though I was buying a quality product, but how wrong was i. Only lasted ten months before suddenly stopped working. I raised a repair with LG online on the 28th Nov and waited for a call to arrange repair date (to be contacted within 24hrs stated) 3 days later still no response so I called them to be told all technical advise where busy and they would call me back. Finally the next day (2nd Dec) I get a call back to arrange the repair witch wasn't until the 7th Dec Ten days after I reported the fault. The repair day arrives and the engineer turn up and quickly diagnosed the faults to be all the circuit boards are fried and he doesn't have the part to replace and tell me to phone LG after a couple of hours as it would be on the system by then, and off he goes. I called LG later that afternoon and was told they had no record of the report, I would get a call to arrange the repair. I call the next day to then be told I would have to wait until the 19th Dec for the parts and another engineer visit which would be 21 days from reporting the fault. So with a large family and the time of year not being able to dry our washing with a product that was 10 months old and costing £649. I feel this is unacceptable and would never buy another LG product based on this experience. Our previous tumble dryer (Bosch) we had for over 12 year and never had any problems with until it stopped working at a grand age for an appliance.

Dont trust the Date of Receiving your order!

When ordering, the estimated date to receive my order is not even close! I ordered on 12/1, advertised delivery date was 12/7. On 12/7, my order has yet to ship! After 4 phone calls to 4 different customer service reps, not one of them could tell me why it didnt ship, the only excuse I got from one was, high volume. I will order from Amazon next time!

LG washer is the worse machine you can ever purchase. Mine keeps leaking they keep coming back and repairing and it still leaks after about a week and a half this last time. It was after a week the time before that. I'm so disappointed. I wish they would simply replace it. Its only been a year since I purchase it. I'm so sad. We work so hard and saved a great deal to purchase the combo and even the dryer kept shutting off and shutting off. I'm beyond regret. Please don't waste you hard earned money on getting a LG product.
