Disturbing!
April 3, 2017

I wish I could rate this app zero stars! I posted a few items for sale and encountered several obnoxious buyers with insane demands. Two of them failed to show up to meet. One had me driving all over the city as she changed the meet up location SEVEN TIMES while I was on the road trying to meet up with her. I've had two men harass me for dates. I had another man inquire about a lamp for sale and insisted he would pay my asking price if I delivered to him NOW. It was 10:30pm. I don't think so! I feel very unsafe using this app and contacted customer service to delete my account.

I am just reading the reviews trying to find out if it's worth sticking with this site, and I see that, much like other sites that offer reviews, most people won't bother doing a review if they love something, but if they had a one-time bad experience that could happen no matter where or what you're using, they will jump at the chance to gripe up a storm about it to anyone who will listen. I am going to say, with what I've done and seen so far on the site, that it doesn't seem all that different from similar-type sites (i. E. Craigs List): if you like shopping that way, stick with them and buyer beware; if you hate it, then go to WalMart, the mall, or whatever :)

Hoax
April 2, 2017

I think an employee or computer asks about items for sale. I have posted a lot of items on this app and 95% of the response I get "is the item still available" than nothing.

Waste of time

Waste of my valuable time
Seems to be a social media for bored people asking with NO intention
I wouldn't recommend to anyone who has real items of value to sell

After trying this app for 1 month to buy and sell guitars, I am convinced that 95% of the users of this app can't scrape up $100, probably because they are spending their waking hours asking if items are available, setting up meetings and not showing up.

Annoying
March 31, 2017

Wanted to give them one star just for their annoying advertising! Ads are longer than any other companies and no way to opt out or stop them.

If any human wants a free experience on how to deal with people online and learn some of what is good and what is bad that's were I recommend all people across America - Canada- Europe- To start on there free time a lot of work to do and I'm pretty sure that the company already knows the challenges that are facing them more than any body else you can't tell the whole message of what letgo app is capable of. You can expect any thing in letgo to happen lands, cars, ships, agencies, busniess, prostitution, their is a big dream I'm not sure what letgo is capable of but you can tell their is effort and the future is hiding a lots of progress so let's go. Good luck

Whenever I search, say coffee pots, you get inundated with listings for coffee tables, coffee mugs, coffee art, coffee pictures, coffee grinders and cats named "Coffee". There doesnt seem to be any way to filter those things out and you spend a lot- I mean A LOT- of time scrolling past those items. Plus it's not unusual to get items/pictures thrown in there that are in no way relate-able to the coffee pot you may have been searching for and will have to scroll thru things like power tools, automobiles, Casio calculators or plants in a mug? But yes, if you keep your selling & purchases "Local" then you can get some pretty good deals.

My experience: List items- items get assigned additional description that makes no sense (beige stainless food dehydrator, wooden five layer) - receive messages all hours of the day and night "Is this item still for sale"- spend lots of time replying to messages- no one buys anything.

Been trying to use this app for 2 weeks now. Very annoyed with the way it operates. Endless image tiles laid out and I have to select each one just to see what it is and price, then I have to select more info to actually find out the important stuff. And what's this "negotiable" crap? Negotiable from what? There's no ballpark price! No wonder everyone is complaining about lowballers, 90% of the ads I selected basically told me to make an offer. The search engine is also garbage. I typed in a specific type of tire machine, all I got was a billion results for tires! App is too simplified, wastes my data loading nothing but pictures and wastes my time. Deleted.

I don't believe the people that designed this deserves the 1 star ratings because of some irresponsible irritating loser that uses the app. These people are just everywhere, not the fault of the designer. Would you give a restaurant a 1 star rating because of a table of loud guests? Or a store with that is dealing with particularly demanding guests that is causing a long lineup?

That said, I like the way the app presents the items for sale. It even automatically locates the sellers approximate location on Google map for you. Provides easy to use messenger with usual "is it available?" type of messages on "quick dial". Design wise this app is unmatched for now.

Don't waste your time

As a buyer this site is a waste of time. No selection of any genuine value. One has to wonder where all the money is coming from for the TV ads.

I've repeatedly requested my profile be removed from letgo. I receive confirmation yet I can always log back in. The app and customer support sucks! Who'd of thought one could not remove their own account. DO NOT USE THIS APP it will rob you of your privacy.

Horrible
March 21, 2017

Inquired on an expensive watch, asking questions as any normal person would. Buyer refused to authenticate product so I didn't purchase. Buyer then wrote a review on me stating I asked too many questions so it must have been a scam and I wasted her time. Then blocked me so I couldn't write a review back to warn others and explain. So this site allows others to smear your bad name and then does NOTHING about it. I'm deleting this app and warn others to do the same!

This app is horrible. When you post something for sale and someone asked about it they never follow through the talk you down on the price and if you lower it and ask them do they want it you never hear back. I have four items on sale for dirt cheap prices and haven't sold not a one of them. So I decided to research the app and found all these reviews that I should have found out before I used it. People don't waste your time it's a scam for what I don't now but no one ever buys anything

First and foremost you cannot find a phone number for customer service. You have to leave them a message on Facebook messenger and your lucky if they get back to you.
They should email everyone when they are having issued and there are many with this site, unfortunately you have to figure it out by yourself.
Instead of playing games with someone who favorites your item and we know this is bogus as well as is this still available a d is it negotiable, come on, this is a sick generated game set up by the immature letgo morons to bother you at 3am.
Now here is the latest and no thanks to letgo and there inept customer service team. This is were a notification should be used. We are updating the bump up features it will be available soon keep checking the notification tab and your email for updates. Oh forgot you have to pay $1.99 to use bump up don't know how many items it includes or how often you have to pay. Ha, ha, sincerely, letgo customer service, 1800no#ah.
Two suggestions: 1, don't pay, delete your item and repost this is a pain I know and you can't have a duplicate. 2, offer up is much better site and app with good communication. Better and more categories if your looking for shoes you don't have to scroll through someone's dirty underwear to find your dream shoes. I think it's time to letgo, go, gone.

The Letgo app and site is a total scam. The company spends millions on advertising and sets up bots or people to take interest in your item. All you get is."is the item still available?" I tired to sell three items and all the same. Eventually just listed on Craigslist and sold within a couple of day. Do not waste your time with this ridiculous company.
