This is a fake app for many reasons. Let me tell you how these "fake" websites work. Once you post an ad, immediately a person texts you "I'm interested" or "is it still available" both are which computer generated. After you reply them they never respond back. These websites keep on sending you computer generated responses such as "I'm interested" which keeps you checking their websites. These websites make money off number of views on the website and then sell that information to advertisement companies. Even though you're just on the website trying to hear back from a computer, your time on the website and number of times visited is recorded. This app will not sell any of your items. Use craigslist or something else. FAKE APP WITH FAKE COMPUTER GENERATED RESPONSES ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STARS

1. Ads that say oh dont contact me here email me at so n so. These are scams to spam you

2. Sellers that cant figure out how to list a model number are $#*!ing morons. So play 20 30 questions to get a single line of info.

3.if you sell a car list the mileage yr make model engine. And dont take 5 pics of the outside and none of the engine or interior. Again morons

4. Dont think cuz you dont wana pay asking price that you are gonna bully ppl to your price. Bully me n i block you. Period.

This appis full of flakes like craigslist. Its just a dumping ground forlazy useless ppl. I take time to post spwcs model numbers n age prices compared. But dont waste your time telling me you can buy it for less. Then go buy it. I did sales for 20yrs.

Btw offerup is just as bad.

I had many items listed with them and had a 5 star rating as a seller. I deleted the app though, because I kept getting messages from people who had accidentally hit the "I'm interested" or "Is this still available?" preset questions, but they didn't even know they had. I also don't like that they give you the "option" to receive marketing notifications, but if you turn the option off they turn it back on. I searched for 4 chairs months ago but was no longer in need of them, and months later I still was getting daily notifications about 4 chairs. I had removed that from my search history and turned the notification button off several times and they would just turn it back on. I will be using others apps for selling.
Oh! And they have 5 star rating in the App Store because if you try to submit anything else, it isn't accepted!

I spent hundreds of man hours getting my items input to over 400 listings. I worked with all the bad aspects of this app only to ultimately have them delete all my listings. It started with them rejecting listings that were military memorabilia for what I can only deduce did not meet their politically correctness. Then their bot Allison was requesting to delete and repost items when actually what she was doing was deleting and not relisting items. All along I could get no response from their customer service department. Next they blocked my items from being displayed both in searches and browsing. I tried their bump feature costing $1.99 which they quickly charged me with no results. My item still was not displaied let alone moved to the top of the list. I requested over and over for help from their customer service and got no response. Finally I checked to see the items I had posted only to find they had deleted all 400+ items and still their customer service is silent. This is the most unprofessional worst app,
People and organization I have ever experienced.

I think a lot of people that are on the website are just playing around because they are bored. I get responses all the time to my ads and I respond and never hear back from them again. I have advertised many great quality items on there and everyone wants them for nothing. I have sold some things but I feel like I have wasted my time. I also get silly/stupid responses sometimes and I don't appreciate that either. Or as others have said they have hit the I'm Interested button by mistake. I have looked at others ads and never once hit that by mistake. Once again people just playing around. Once I get my few items sold that I have left I will never go on this website again!

Used Let Go to try to give 7 or 8 things away FREE... Some nicer things... actually some with appraised value of over $100... just didn't have the time to try to sell them off... MANY folks interested, to the point of actually setting up times to meet / pick item up... fast forward a few weeks, and Salvation Army was the only one to meet their promised p/u time. I think I'd suggest having your own garage sale... and whatever is left call the ARC, Salvation Army, or Goodwill... It'll save you a lot of time and aggravation.

I have been using letgo for less than a year now and already I hate it. It is not worth wasting time on.
I never sold a damned thing because of the fake people who claimed to be interested and the idiots who were real kept asking a ton of stupid questions.
Then there is letgo idiotic techs themselves, twice now they have deliberately removed my ad(s) for now reason in my opinion. They said it violated their terms and policies, what a crock. I tried to reason with them but they would help me when I tried to communicate with them about resolving the issue and asked them to help me post the item again... correctly. They simply ignored my emails, texts and phone calls. So I had to quit using the site and Im glad I did because now I found the even tho ebay is expensive, my stuff sells almost instantly as "Buy" only! I hate letgo and will never go back to those sheisters!

Today I am unable to logon to Letgo. I don't understand why.

I've sold a number of things on here and have had good sucess.
But I've also lost a number of deals because they won't let me
Give out my phone number for texting.

I don't have a smart phone so I can't check the messaging in Letgo.
Its a big pain to have to go thru all the logon steps just to see if i
Got a message from someone. Then when I do I've usually missed
Them by and hour or two and they are no longer interested.

With Craigslist you have to deal with the occaisional scammer but
It is still so much easier to use.
