The Rx is fine along with the glass frames. However the transition Tint with a silver mirror outdoors in sunlight doesn't exist. My old glasses ordered from Cohen's optical has a superior transition Tint.
First, don't expect a quick turnaround - it took nearly a full three months from placing the order to receiving the correct lenses, including having to send them back because the lenses weren't correct. The customer service doesn't help, as they don't act with any concern or expedition when you write in to ask for a status or report an issue. Also, if you value your vision, do not use the online eye exam as it is inaccurate and Lensabl will not update your prescription for whatever reason. Please just save your time and money and go to a local optician because I ended up buying an additional pair of eyeglasses because these took so long - got them back in 36 hours.

Sending in a new pair of frames to have a new prescription put in is something I've never done, or even considered. And having just been at my new eye dr for an exam, letting them do a new pair with a slight change in my script, I spent less money with Lensabi, and didn't have to drive the total 2 hr commute. Lensabi did a fantastic job... easy peasy!

First time I have ordered glasses on-line and was a little hesitant. It took a little longer to receive them than I had anticipated but may be due to the shortages and delays in materials. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the quality of the glasses. I would definitely buy from Lensabl again.
I paid for 1.74 hi index, but the lenses are nearly double as thick as my previous with the same Rx. Plus they did a great job of beveling the edges at a 45 degree angle but now I have no peripheral vision.
Not great and expensive for the sad truth that I will not be wearing these and rather try to have them replaced again. The progressive lenses are okay long distance, but after over a week of trying to acclimate to them they continue to give me a headache when reading short distances and working on my computer. I believe this type of service for these specialized lenses might be best completed with an in person visit.
The prescription does not seem correct on the near sightedness of the bifocal lenses that Lensabl replaced, after receiving the glasses back. I have two other pairs of glasses with the new prescription in new frames, but I wanted to replace the lenses in my old Oliver people frame, because they do not make the color of that frame at the present time. That is why I sent my old frames to Lensabl. I have to find a optician locally to verify the prescription I received from my doctor and the lenses replaced in my old frame. When I put them on it appears that the bifocal magnifies the near sightedness much greater then the lenses in my other two other pairs of glasses.
I sent in two Bose sunglasses requesting prescription sunglasses put in each. I completed the forms indicating the type and color of tint. However, I received regular clear lenses in both. It also took close to a month to get them returned to us.
Whole process took less than 2 weeks and the website kept me up to date on each part of process. Will defiantly be using this company in the future. A+++

I placed an order for 13 frames at a cost of over $1000 USD. The follow up by customer service was impressive.
But I have only received two pair of frames, and now your company is sending me emails saying the order is complete ‘how'd we do' messages.
I am not happy!
I had a pair of great eyeglasses that were readers and no local optical department would change them to prescription for me. I submitted them to Lensable and they turned out ADORABLE! I am very pleased!
Lensabl provides a seamless process that gave me with the prescription I needed in the glasses I wanted. I would highly recommend them!

I decided to go with Lensabl because I had a nice frame I liked and wanted to get new lenses for. I found Lensabl and thought I'd give them a try, and the whole experience has been beyond disappointing. First, it took a full month between sending in my frames and getting them back. Fine, between supply chain and shipping issues, a little bit of a delay is understandable. But that was the least of my problems. When I finally got my new lenses, the prescription was wrong: the right and left eye prescriptions had been swapped. Additionally, the anit-fog coating from the "Premium Lensabl AR with Anti-Fog" coating I had purchased made cleaning the backside of the lenses nearly impossible. The anti-fog coating is like a lint magnet, attracting lint even from the brand new cleaning cloth that came with my new lenses. I contacted Lensabl and asked for the lenses to be remade, to which they responded by asking me why I thought the Rx was wrong (as if I were too stupid to determine this on my own). But alas, they finally agreed to remake the lenses and remove the anti-fog coating after I obtained proof from my eye doctor that the Rx was wrong. "Great, problem solved!" I thought to myself, but it wasn't solved at all. It once again took a month for me to receive my (remade) lenses. And when I got them, the anti-fog coating had been applied again, once again making it impossible to clean the backside of the lenses. However, what is much more problematic is that the lenses have virtually no anti-reflective property at all. I can clearly see my own eye, crows feet and all reflected in the lenses as I'm wearing the glasses. Furthermore, this time the lenses had black spots on them that are totally resistant to cleaning at all. I've contacted Lensabl for them to remake the lenses again, but at this point I've totally lost hope that I'll get a pair of acceptable lenses. Save your time, money, and energy: get your lenses made at an established and reputable retailer. Lensabl just isn't worth the trouble.
It is so rare for me to ever leave a poor review but I'm SO disappointed with my lensabl experience that I had to speak up. I had a pair of Chloe frame lenses replaced with blue light and my glasses case was never returned to me. In very small, non-prominent text on the instructions page it says not to send any "accessories" as they will not be returned. However it wasn't shown with any kind of hierarchy and also... how could I possible ship a pair of glasses without the case? The glasses would get crushed and damaged! I practice being as sustainable and low waste of a lifestyle as possible and its just totally disappointing and wasteful that this business would just trash a perfectly good case in favor of one of their cheap ones- bad for the planet and bad for the customer! When I reached out to customer service they basically told me - sorry, that's the way it is. I will not be supporting this business again.
The website makes it seem that the turn around time is less than 7 business days. However it is closer to 14 business days. Also there was no communication letting me know that my frames had been received and/or that the process had started. The only other email I received was the one that said my glasses had been shipped. Even then the return shipping took a few days longer than the website suggest. Bottom line, if you're looking for fast turn around, this isn't the place. Lastly I sent my frames to them inside of a nice glasses bag that was not returned to me.
After working through a few issues and a remake, my progressive lens were perfectly made for my favorite frames. Customer service was phenomenal and stayed in communication through the whole process. I won't hesitate to use their services again!

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
